TV show Pinjara Khubsurti Ka which features Saahil Uppal and Riya Sharma as lead, is under scanner for a while. In order to keep up with the expectations of the audience the show is all set to go in for a time leap of 22 years. This leap will lead to a reincarnation track where lead actors will be reborn. According to a source associated with the show, “While the casting of new faces is underway, the lead couple will continue on the show. Madhuri Sanjeev and Sanjay Swaraj have been roped in to play Saahil’s mother and Riya’s father, respectively. The leap will be introduced on Monday. The unit of the show is currently shooting at a resort in Silvassa for the opening episode of the reincarnation track. They will start shooting in Mumbai from Sunday.”
The source further adds that the show will also swap time slot from June 1 with Bawara Dil, which is also produced by Sourab Tiwari. “The change will come into effect from July 1. Bawara Dil, which features Aditya Redij and Kinjal Dhamecha, will be telecast at 9.30 pm while Pinjara will air at 10.30 pm. Apparently, the Broadcasting Content Complaints Council (BCCC) is of the opinion that the storyline of Pinjara is slightly violent and that it should air post 10 pm.”
While Saahil dodges the question about the change in the time slot, he does talk about the reincarnation track, and shares, “Yes, the show is going in for a leap. I am excited about the reincarnation track and the new storyline. The audience will see me in a new avatar. The new character will be a complete breakaway from the original one, which was extremely serious. My character will be a fun-loving and happy-go-lucky guy.”
