Thapki Pyar Ki 2 which was premiered on October 4 last year is now slated to go off-air in the first week of April. The cast and crew is obviously disappointed as the show had a run of just six-month.
During a recent interview with BT, lead actress Prachi Bansal talked about it and shared, “It really makes me sad that the show is going off-air. I wish it had continued for some more time. I don’t know the reason behind the show going off. Maybe the story had come to an end and hence the channel decided to take it off-air.”
It’s even more upsetting for Prachi as the actress joined the show just a month ago. Prachi replaced lead actress Jigyasa Singh for the role of Thapki. She said, “It’s just been a month that I joined the show, so it’s more upsetting for me that the show is going off-air so soon. When I joined the cast of the show, there was a lot of pressure on me. So I was just busy working all day. But more recently, I got closer to my co-actors and was spending time with them. It has been really nice. But sadly now, it will come to an end.”
When asked about her plans post Thapki, Prachi said, “I haven’t got the time to audition for other roles as of now. Tomorrow is the last day of our shoot. So maybe after that, I will start looking for my next project. I have always waited to get a good role and this time too, I will wait for that good opportunity to come my way.”

I wish Prachi to reach more heights and that will be a slap for those who are trolling and insulting her. Insane people are not stopping on the last day shoot too. Prachi, you pulled the role well till I didn’t even miss Jigyasa at all.
