Prapti Shukla aka Gungun of ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’ all set for her Bollywood Debut with ‘The Diplomat’ alongside John Abraham
Actor Prapti Shukla, known for her portrayal of Gungun in the TV sitcom ‘Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey,’ is poised to realize her Bollywood dreams with her debut in the upcoming film ‘The Diplomat,’ starring acclaimed actor John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb.

In the film, Prapti will essay the role of the youngest Indian girl, whose life takes a poignant turn as she finds herself compelled into a marriage with a Pakistani man. As the story unfolds, she becomes a victim of harassment in a foreign land, anchoring her character intricately within the storyline’s compelling dynamics.
Based on a true account, ‘The Diplomat’ is under the direction of Shivam Nair, with a screenplay crafted by Ritesh Shah. The production boasts a roster of accomplished names, including Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar; John Abraham; Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl; Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma, and Rakesh Dang.
