Actress Tina Philip who is known for her performance in the popular tv show ‘Pratigya’ is thrilled to finally meet her parents in the UK, after three years. The actress recently flew to London to visit her family. Tina came to India a few years ago to pursue her passion for acting.
In an interview with BT, Tina talks about it and shares, “I came to the UK a couple of days ago and I’ve come here after three years. Due to the pandemic since last year neither could I visit them not could they come to India. I was longing to see them. My family is pampering me so much since the time I have come here. I feel that there is no place like your own home and especially spending quality time with your family.”
She further adds, “I play chess with my brother. I even cook sometimes because my family has never had the chance to eat food cooked by me. Although my mother doesn’t let me do any work at home because she is all the time pampering me. It’s also nice to catch up with my school friends here,”
While Tina is elated to be back home, she is also missing her fiancé Nikhil Sharma. Tina says, “We miss each other, but thanks to technology, we video call each other and keep in touch every day. I’ll be flying back to India in a couple of weeks, so we both are fine with it.”
On the professional front, Tina was last seen in the show Pratigya. “I just finished Pratigya and it’s not even been a month yet. Right now I am just enjoying spending time with my loved ones. They are my priority for now. I feel very blessed that I have had the opportunity to play so many different characters in my four-year acting career. And thankfully I am at that stage in life when I can afford to take a holiday without worrying about my next project. It’s no more a necessity to work every single day of the year and I can choose how to spend my time. This is a privilege I’m very grateful for,” she signs off.
