Preetan FF : Truth of life Part 12

Karan and Preeta heads to Mumbai in car. She senses some tensed moment in his face during whole drive. He shares his doubt about adoption papers in office.

Preeta : what are you talking about?

Karan : you know ever since I met Tanya, my heart is saying something is strange about her talking, behavior

Preeta : you are very concerned about her? I hope you are not planning to.. (laughs at his reaction)

Karan : now if you are insisting then I will think about that

Preeta : I will kill you if you even think about doing that

Both reaches Mumbai in few hours at there respective house. Karan is not ready to even leave Preeta for a moment. She assures him they will be together soon.

Luthra house

Karan enters the house only to find the arrangement for another function.

“Mom, what is all this looks around the house

Rakhi : come here first (twists his ears for not informing about the trip)

Karan : mom my ears please leave me, I am sorry for that

Rishab (Tap his head) : duffer, do you even know how worried we were

Karan : bhai, tell mom to leave my ears, I had to rush thats why

Rishab : you are worried about your ears, and how were your practice sessions

Karan ; my dear brother, you care so much about me, they were great

Rishab : stop battering me, I am not talking with you alright, now go freshen up

Karan : I asked so many times what is the arrangement for, are we doing farewell for Kritika’s marriage

“Not yet, she is not leaving you so soon Kareena comes there

Karan : bua, then what are we waiting for, lets send her away

“Bro, thats not fair, I won’t leave you all till you get married ” pulls his leg

Karan immediately thinks about Preeta hearing about marriage. His smiles confuses everybody but Kritika quickly understands his gestures.

Rishab : you are still here? go to your room

Arora house

Shrishti notices Preeta’s changed behavior before leaving and after coming back.

“You went like Queen of arc saying I won’t meet Karan again mimics Preeta

“Shut up will you, or else stops in mid

“Else what my dear sis, tell me I am waiting brings her ear close

“I will tell mom that last night you were with Sameer here, and something is brewing between both of you whispers loudly

Shrishti : thats not fai, how did you?

Preeta : you are so naive, I called you last night remember

Flashback

While preparing for Karan’s surprise, Preeta called Shrishti who forgot to press off button. She heard Sameer and Shrishti’s conversation outside movie.

Flashback ends

“Di, you heard everything starts running behind Preeta

Shrishti : you cannot do this to me

Preeta : of course I can, now tell me clearly do you like him?

Shrishti nods in positivity but says she will wait for Sameer to tell his feelings first.

Preeta : okay I will be back, need to freshen up little bit

Shrishti smells new perfume in Preeta’s clothes which they never use. She senses something fishy.

Shrishti : not bad sis, you are using high quality perfume nowadays

Preeta : what rubbish? give that to me I will put in laundry

Preeta shares Karan’s relation with his childhood friend who died years ago.

Shrishti : what are you saying?

Preeta ; nobody can even imagine Karan Luthra also wounded heart, that guilt he is living whole life

Shrishti ; what was her name?

Preeta ; something like Pinky, looked like both shared very deep friendship

Shrishti is taken aback by the name and asks Preeta again.

“Shrishti, she is dead, thats what Karan told me ” repeats herself

Shrishti : that means she was also Sameer’s friend right

“How do you know that, I mean yes but you guess that easily? Preeta asks confusingly

“Because she is alive shouts out loud

Preeta : what are you saying? who told you this

Shrishti : yesterday when I went with Sameer, his phone was with me, and I saw a message from pinky

“Shrishti, do you know who she is gets desperate other moment

Shrishti : I didn’t ask him and I don’t know who that is but if she is really the one why is she hiding

Preeta :that means Sameer knows about her identity but he is hiding from us, does he not know how Karan is living

Shrishti : why are we even getting into this, its their matter

Preeta : I want to share something with you but promise me first you will not tell it to anybody until I say

“Whats that important asks curiously

Preeta ; first promise me

Shrishti : okay fine, I won’t tell it to anybody, now come on

“Karan proposed me last night her voices turns softly on other side

Shrishti’s face remains widened and rubs her ears quickly.

“And you said yes? turns to her side

Preeta nods in blush but tells her sister to control excitement

Shrishti : Oh my god, I can’t believe this, it means my prediction was right Karan sir was eyeing on you from so many months

Preeta : shut up, don’t talk bad about him

Shrishti ; not bad you started favoring him in just few hours, I can’t tell you how happy I am, now nobody can stop you from becoming Luthra family’s daughter in law my sis

Preeta ; you know Shrishti I never even thought I would fall in love again, that too with that kadva karela, he is just so sweet

Shrishti : you both are very lucky to have each other but sis please be careful whenever something good comes in our life, bad phase is waiting for us

Preeta’s smile goes away hearing her sister telling bitter truth.

Luthra house

Karan is desperate to talk with Preeta but family keeps him busy with all the preparation of Kritika’s upcoming ceremony of Mehndi, He collides with Tanya outside the house.

“Finally you are back, you know last time when I came there was so much peace in house Tanya taunts him

Karan : If I was not in rush I could have answered you better, don’t spoil my mood

Tanya : really? I didn’t knew people like you also have something to do

Karan ; I am not law book like you, by the way I am the life of my family, thank god I didn’t have to hear your irritating voice the other day you came in my house

Tanya ; what do you mean?

Karan ; I have to clean house with pesticides, some bacteria came yesterday in my absence

“If I am bacteria, you are the virus of computer who is infected diseases for people gives tit for tat

Rishab comes there to stop their silly fighting again.

Rishab ; you both don’t see timing and start fighting with each other

Tanya : sorry Rishab but this brother of yours always mess with me for no reason

Karan ; you don’t say anything bhai because this girl is definition of psycho

“Psycho? and you are mental patient hits on his feet hardly

“Oouch shouts in pain

Tanya : did you get answer, at least now know don’t mess with a law book, bye cricketer (leaves in her car)

Rishab ; thats why I say control your flirting nature or else you will land up in big trouble I will not be able to help you

Karan ; do I look crazy to flirt with this psycho girl, she broke my feet I will also teach her good lesson now how will I go for practice

Rishab : call your coach and tell him to meet you tomorrow

Karan : where are you going?

Rishab : I am going for important meeting with your sponsors, see you later

Karan : bye bro be safe

At night Preeta gets text of Karan coming to her house but she denies. He sneaks through her window but finds Shrishti is sleeping with Preeta too. He throws paper on her but it lands up on Shrishti. Luckily she does not wake up. Karan throws another paper ball on Preeta this time. She wakes from her sleep and sneak at window to see. She is about to shout seeing the shadow but Karan keeps hand on her mouth to prevent.

“Its me your Karan, don’t shout whispers softly to her

Preeta looks at him with shock as he turned joke into reality. She signals him to remove his hand from her mouth.

“What are you doing here takes him to other side so her sister does not wake up

Karan ; thats so mean, I took such big risk to meet you at this time and you are showering me questions

Preeta : my innocent bf, I just asked simple question, you know how much I missed you, but you don’t even care

“Did you really fakes his tears

Preeta : I did, but you won’t believe me

“Only one condition, if you give me your small little kiss, I will know how much you missed me forwards his cheeks

Preeta : did you really came here just to ask for this, impossible

Karan ; don’t forget only you can handle this Mr impossible, now come on I am getting late, if somebody sees me here, there will be permanent exit from this house for me

Preeta blushes seeing his gestures and is about to kiss him but Shrishti interrupts. She senses somebody’s presence in room

“Di, are you inside knocks in bathroom

Preeta : yes, I am coming, Karan you wait here okay

Karan ; but why, you said Shrishti knows everything

Preeta : really then come out, and tell everybody what you were doing here at this time in our room

Karan : sorry sorry, now go

Preeta comes out of washroom and assures Shrishti nobody is in room. After she dozes off Preeta makes Karan go out through main door without making noise.

“What day has come, I have to sneak like thief in my own house, because of you taps on his head

Karan : thats also my fault, you are so boring never mind after marriage we both don’t have to do this

Preeta : really? for your information right now you are not allowed to come at my house in midnight

Preeta safely manages to bring Karan out of house near his car.

Karan : oh my god, I never had to get scare even in my matches

Preeta : nor did I for my exams

Karan : I still wonder how did you pass your medical exams, such a dumbo

Preeta sees Karan walking like injured in his one feet.

Karan : don’t ask me, its that arrogant brat Tanya, she hit so hardly on my feet, that I could not even go to my match

Preeta laughs hearing him how somebody like her controls his flirty nature.

Karan ; you can laugh as much you want, what do I mean to you

Preeta : you are such a kid, I am not laughing at your feet, just wanted to see how somebody other than me can give you tough competition

Karan : okay now I will leave good night (gets in his car)

Preeta waves him while leaving

On his way to home Karan finds a car crashed on tree on sideways.He gets off and looks inside the car for driver. He is surprised to see Tanya unconscious with her head on steering wheel.

“Tanya, are you okay? opens the door and brings out of car

Karan ; where should I take her right now, I think its better I take to her own house, somebody will be there

Karan takes Tanya at her house in his car. He brings her inside when one of the servant helps him put in the room. There is picture of the foursome from childhood on table which Karan fails to see.

Karan : don’t worry she is fine, looks like she is unconscious due to shock

Chaaya : thank god, and thank you for bringing her safely here

Karan : where is her family? Sherlyn’s mom lives here right

Chaaya ; she lives alone here, her aunty never came to meet

Karan : what about her parents?

Chaaya : you don’t know her dad died few years ago, and now her mom too is not ready to accept her apology after her husbands’ death, life is not fair with everybody

Karan feels bad after listening to the girl’s story who he was always irritated. He recalls Tanya’s happy face in front of everybody but was only hiding her pain.

Chaaya : by the way? how do you know my madam

Karan : well, she is my friend (looks at Tanya who is sleeping), I am Karan

Chaaya : oh yes she told me about you before, she has only me to share her feelings right now, even her mom is not in condition to talk with her

Karan : I should go now, its quiet late, let me know if you need anything

Chaaya : thank you once again

Tanya holds his hand gently in sleep murmuring something. Karan feels awkward with the gesture but leaves after he gets Rishab’s call.

Karan remains tensed whole night about Tanya’s condition. Though he hated her sight but something always attracted him towards her.

Next morning Tanya wakes up with heavy head in the room. She realizes she was brought back at her home safely

Tanya : Chaaya, who brought me here last night at home

Chaaya : one young guy brought you here, what was the name? yes Karan Luthra

“Karan brought me here? ask again

Chaaya : yes sis, he made sure you are safe and then left, you fresh up I will have your breakfast ready

Tanya : okay (nods)

Next day Preeta goes for shopping in morning when she spots Sameer going somewhere. She doubts if Shrishti’s suspicious is true about pinky. She follows him to Tanya’s house after few minutes.

“This is Tanya’s house, what is he doing here looks around bungalow

Sameer asks Tanya if she is okay after yesterdays’ accident

Tanya : who told you?

Sameer : bhai told me last night that your car crashed on tree, how can you be so reckless Pinky

Preeta remains speechless hearing the name Pinky from Sameer’s mouth. Both Sameer and Tanya notices her standing in front of door.

Precap : Preeta and Karan’s romance in Kritika’s haldi and Mehndi. Tanya’s growing feelings for Karan and affection for Sameer takes turn in her life.
