Preetan FF : Truth of life Part 16

Preeta tells her insecurity about the closeness with Tanya to Karan.

“What are you talking about gets confused with her question

Preeta : I know she helped us a lot but sometime I feel very insecure when she is around us, have you ever seen her how can anybody be so perfect

Karan : baby doll, I can understand your jealousy (teases her)

Preeta ; its not funny at all, when you are with her you always forget me

“Oh my sweet doll, this world will end if I forget you wraps his arms around her

Preeta : shut up, and stop your useless talks okay

Karan ; whats your plan for tomorrow?

Preeta : I have work why, and don’t you have to go for cricket practice

Karan ; what should i do? after your entry my cricket have take exit

Preeta : I am getting into that sweet words, because no matter cricket will always be your first love right

“How can understand me without me saying anything asks her curiously

Preeta : I can do nothing about that, because nobody can handle this Karan Luthra properly than me, now go I have some work to do

Karan ; you continue, I won’t disturb you at all promise

Preeta : Karan, stop being kid, mom is coming soon, leave before she comes

Karan ; is she seeing me first time?

Preeta : okay fine, then help me clean this room, this Shrishti is always messy like your room

Karan : hey kareli, don’t say anything about my room, I am very busy person you know

Preeta ; I am telling you learn to clean your room before marriage, or else when I come I will throw all your useless belongings out of room

Karan : are you ordering me? Karan Luthra, thats not fair

Preeta : its my right, I will fight, order do everything

Karan : everything (goes close to her)

Preeta : duffer (pushes him) can you put his papers in that drawer

Karan takes from her hands and goes to put in the drawer when his eyes come across few cards and pictures.

“Babydoll, who is guy sees pictures from her college days of a handsome boy

Preeta : thats our friend from Nasik, Dhruv, he was our neighbor

“Not bad, that means both of you had a bodyguard from years teases her

Preeta : why can’t we have some friend when you had millions of girls

Karan ; now where did that come from? anyway where is he right no

Preeta : I don’t know, its been 5 years I have not been in contact with him, I didn’t talk with him even before we came here

Karan feels strange after listening to her words about the guy.

Preeta ; where did you get lost? don’t even think something else in your twisted brain alright

Karan : why would I get jealous? its your friend you deal with that

Both of their argument continues while settling the room.

Rishab thanks Tanya for her magical massage. She appreciates his compliment and asks for return gift.

Rishab : what do you want?

“Think again Mr Luthra, my demands are not that simple challenges him

Rishab ; its Rishab Luthra’s promise to you, ask whatever you want

“One whole day demands him to spend one full day with her

Rishab gets hesitant thinking about his work at first place.

Tanya : I told you, its not easy, even my parents had hard time dealing with my wishes, you are new for me, thats okay (is about to leave)

“Be ready at 7 tomorrow, tomorrow is your day, and I will give you my whole time Rishab finally agrees to her wish

Tanya gets excited hugs him jumping like kid in front of Dadi.

Tanya : sorry, I will see you tomorrow bye

(leaves from there followed by Rishab)

Dadi : what are you thinking Rakhi

“Nothing mummyji, one was that Sherlyn who broke our son, and here her sister is healing that wound Rakhi appreciates Tanya’s presence in their family as positive influence on everybody unaware the real girl behind her decency.

Next day Karan gets ready to go for practice match on field. He realizes the date is valentine, something he always made fun of. This time he is waiting for his valentine and do something very special for his baby doll.

Rishab takes Tanya for tour in whole city making is very memorable for her.

“Uncle, give me very spicy gol gappas Tanya goes to a vendor

Rishab ; Ms London, you won’t be able to eat that, let it be

Tanya : please, its my long dream to eat this pani puri in India, you know in London we don’t get to eat anything

Rishab ; okay fine

Tanya does not stop eating even after Rishab’s insistence. Her eyes get watery and spiciness takes over in her taste buds. Rishab does not let her drink water funnily and runs around the beach.

“Please, I will die out of acrid, give me water runs after him with sweating

Rishab : told you this indian food will not suit you, Ms London

Tanya starts coughing badly and falls on floor that makes him concerned.

“Are you okay, drink this water, I am sorry I was just kidding makes her drink carefully without hurting her.

It turns out she was faking to get bottle from Rishab. She laughs at his innocence

“Wait, you cheater, how gave you degree of law shouts at her sitting on sand.

“Mr Luthra, this is called self defense splashes water on him

Both plays in water after long time forgetting the recent problems happened in their lives. Their teenage days have been same by taking responsibility of their family after almost losing their one parent.

“Is there any pub here asks sitting in car

Rishab : what? you go to pubs

Tanya : yea, is that surprising to you? I mean I always party on weekends, you don’t have to come with me, just tell me the address, I will manage

“You think you can go alone, this is Mumbai,  plus you are new here

Tanya ; okay we will not go there but we still have half day, what will be do

Rishab looks at her with cute smirk. He stops car outside an orphanage which brings all memories of her childhood days.

“My dad always gave donations to this orphanage, there is one in Ooty too but that my nanaji built Rishab takes her inside the gate

Karan buys red balloons, flowers and roses for Preeta from vendor on road.

“My baby doll will be so happy, I want to make this valentines special for her takes his phone out to call her. Preeta goes to meet him in Luthra house where everybody is out for Kritka’s wedding arrangements. She enters his room that smells with lavender and vanilla candles around every corner. There is heart made of roses in the middle with small candle in center. What shocks her is the pictures that had only of Karan had now changed of her photos and some with Rishab.

“Karan calls him but is nowhere

Somebody holds her from back on waist very gently without hurting. Preeta feels Karan’s presence in a moment who is lost in her beauty.

“What are you doing, leave me tell him

” welcome baby doll, happy valentines day sits on knees holding small rose

Preeta gets overwhelmed seeing his cute gestures and is not able to resist herself.

“Nobody ever loved me like Karan sobs in his arms making his shirt wet with all her tears flowing

“But now somebody does, even I never understood love, thank for making my life special caresses her hair with tears of happiness of getting an angel in his life

“Will you always love me like this cups his face lovingly

Karan pulls her into passionate kiss feeling her rosy lips. Her hands runs in his smooth hair reciprocating his gestures

“Do you still have any doubts Karan asks  her huskily

Preeta nods negatively and touches his forehead with her. She ask him the reason of putting her pictures around

Karan : what should I do? you and bhai are only people who rule on me, so I cannot do partiality

Preeta : you have become so sensible after meeting me

Karan : I was sensible but after you came I became crazy in your love

Preeta could stop laugh on his crazy antics as always.

Karan : come, I have something special for you (gives her balloons)

Preeta ; wow, do you know how much I love balloons, thank you

Karan : by the way, where is my gift I know you are God’s precious gift to me but I need something for today

Preeta : I think I forgot outside while talking on phone

Karan : I will come with you

Both goes to parking lot when one of the balloon flies in air and goes to other way.

Preeta : my balloon

“Thats okay, who knows maybe part of my heart will remain to somebody else makes her jealous

Preeta : shut up, here is your gift

“What is in that opens the gift

Preeta gives him mug with their picture printed on it and has quote ” My prince charming

Karan ; not bad, I will always keep this close to me, lets go inside, our valentine is not over yet

They goes inside the room for dinner.

“Wait, before we start lets ask for wish lights up the candle

The moment Preeta closes her eyes, again her nightmares starts bothering. She clutches the table cloth tightly when she hears somebody screaming. Karan quickly turns on the light and brings her out of nightmare.

“what happened pats her shoulder

Preeta : Karan, I am getting scared, please don’t leave (keeps holding his collar tightly closing her eyes)

Karan : take some rest come (puts her on bed and covers with duvet)

He makes Preeta sleep caressing her face till she calms down.

On the other side Tanya too have similar situation when they are outside on road.

“Are you okay Rishab holds when she is about to fall

Tanya : I am fine, thanks, I don’t know my heart is getting restless

Rishab : drink some water

Tanya ; don’t worry i am good, sorry I just get panic sometimes

Rishab : are you sure? do you want to go home its quite late

They both see people celebrating valentines with much love and happiness.

“How lucky they might be feeling right now that love is in their life but honestly after some time when romance is over people think life is done Tanya criticizes the idea of love

The balloon lands up on her hand that flew from Preeta’s hands.

“I guess very soon, you will also understand the concept of love sees her holding ballon

Tanya : I don’t know whose heart is this but I will keep it with me

Rishab : so, did you enjoy whole day?

Tanya ; yea but I feel there is nothing much to see in Mumbai, real fun will be Rajasthan, banaras places like that

“You are right, if you want after Kritika’s marriage we can try going somewhere Rishab promises to go for vacation

Tanya : thats great

Sameer and Shrishti who came for walk sees some couple lighting the lanterns as symbol of love.

“Sameer, can we do that too please Shrishti asks him

“But they are couple, we are not Sameer’s words hurt but she still insists him to go with her

Shrishti ; so what? we will light this together, who knows next year we get this chance or not

Both light the lanterns at the same balloon and leaves in the air. Sameer feels content seeing the genuine happiness on Shrishti’s face.
