Note: I am sorry to all those who didn’t wanted Riddhima to get back to Vansh but the response for that was really high. I will write another OS if y’all want, with that ending. Please accept the apology!
The episode starts as…..
Riddhima’s POV:
I saw Veer descending the stairs. He came and hugged me tightly. It’s the most joyful feeling to me. To have my son along with the life, I had always dreamed off, a simple one. We stepped back and sat down for breakfast. I sat beside Veer while Karan opposite to us.
Karan: So, where are y’all going?
Riddhima: Orphanage!
Karan: but you said school.
Riddhima: That’s because Veer can’t pronounce Orphanage.
Karan: Okay!
We quickly completed our breakfast and Veer and I drove to the orphanage.
In the orphanage,
Veer really enjoys being in the orphanage. Whenever he smiles, my heart smiles. His smile and hair is just like me but all other features are like Vansh. He’s the only reason why I can’t forget Vansh, his love, his care, his betrayal, his price and my punishment. Veer resembles Vansh and my heart breaks but Veer also heals it. He’s my child, his heart and mind are pure. I wouldn’t let him think or do anything wrong. Just then, Veer came up to me.
Veer: Mumma, Can we go home?
Riddhima: Sure! Let’s go!
Veer and I sat in the car and came back to our house. He went to his room and I sat down with my work.
At 02:00pm,
Karan came back home. He acted little weird and seemed worried. I couldn’t take it anymore.
Riddhima: Karan, What’s wrong?
Karan(unwilling): Nothing!
I glared at him to which he was answered back.
Karan: Actually, we have another meeting at 04:00pm, you remember right?
Riddhima: Ofcourse! What happened?
Karan: Actually, I didn’t tell you but yesterday Raisinghania’s came to our office with a deal which I rejected but they forgot their file in my cabin and now we need to return the file.
Riddhima: Okay! I’ll go and give it and come!
Karan: Did you hear me well? I said ‘Raisinghania’s’.
Does he think I have hearing issues? I heard him well.
Riddhima: I heard well Karan! You clearly said ‘Raisinghania’s’.
Karan: So? You will have to handover the file to Vansh Raisinghania.
Riddhima: I know, so?
Karan: Riddhima, Vansh was your past.
So? He was but now, he isn’t.
Karan: You’ll have to face him for such a small matter.
Riddhima: You dare don’t think to cancel the meeting for that stupid file. I will slap you!
Karan: But….
Riddhima(glaring): Give me the file and leave right now for work!
Karan(giving up): Okay!
Karan left the house. I know he was worried for me. I know that Vansh still affects me. But I no longer fear him and the reason is I don’t have anything to lose right now. First, I had Kabir and I feared Vansh because he could take Kabir away from me and then I feared Vansh because I loved him and I feared that he would not love me which happened. But now, I have none. Veer is a part of me, he can never go away from me. I can proudly face them because I was dead for them, Three years back.
Vansh’s POV:
At 03:00pm,
In VR mansion,
Another day without her. Our room is still the same. I didn’t want to change even a single thing and why would I do so? What if she returned some day and didn’t find her things at the same place? Wouldn’t she get upset? I heard some noises going on down, I wondered what it is and walked down. As I was walking down, I saw Dadi talking to a girl but who’s it? Dadi and the girl got back and it’s her! She returned. I couldn’t control my emotions and hugged her, I was crying but she didn’t have any impact. I got back.
Vansh: Where were you Riddhima? Do you have any idea about how much did I search you? I was terrified. I have been vulnerable by now. But now, since you are back, we’ll all be happy and live together.
She didn’t show any expressions but instead just stood straight. I again wanted to hug her but she took a step back.
Riddhima(giving the file to Vansh): It’s your file and y’all left it yesterday at our office.
Angre: Bhabhi, you came here to give the file?
Riddhima didn’t answer.
Ishani: Bhabhi?
Still she showed no reaction. Then,
Dadi: Riddhima, baccha, Angre asked you something.
Riddhima: Sorry, but he said ‘Bhabhi’ and I am ‘Riddhima’.
My heart broke. Has our relation reached here?
Vansh(broken): Riddhima!
Riddhima(handing Vansh the file): Here’s the file, Mr. Vansh Raisinghania.
I took the file and threw it away in anger. How could she say that? She’s still Mrs. Vansh Raisinghania. She’s still my wife. I held her hand.
Vansh: You won’t go anywhere!
Riddhima: Well, Mr. Vansh Raisinghania, I need to go back home.
Vansh: This is your home!
Riddhima: Correction, it’s a house and not a home. Home is a place where a family stays and they care for eachother, love eachother and most importantly trust eachother. This place was never such. So it’s better if you don’t call this place a home until you are doing comedy. But it would be a bad and horrible joke.
Vansh: Riddhima, please don’t say this! You are hurting me, we are your family.
Riddhima: For your kind information, I already have my own family and actually, a happy one. We trust each other. Do you know trust? It’s exactly the same emotion which your family never had on me.
Vansh: Riddhima, I really love you!
Riddhima: Really?
Vansh: I am ready to do anything you say to prove my love.
Riddhima(doubtfully): You mean to say that you are ready to prove the ‘price’ of your love?
Vansh: Yes!
Riddhima: How on earth did I think that Vansh Raisinghania can change? Why did I even think so?
What does she mean by it?
Riddhima: How can you still not know that love is a priceless emotion?
I wanted to speak ahead but a small boy came running inside the mansion and hugged Riddhima saying, “Mumma”. Wait… Mumma? How? Riddhima is smiling.
Riddhima: Veer, why did you come here?
Veer? The child’s name?
Veer: Mumma, you took so long to come out. So I got scared!
Riddhima bend down to his level and said, “When you have your mumma by your side then why are you even getting scared? Haven’t we made an agreement to make others scared?” Veer smiled and his smile is just like Riddhima’s. While smiling, his eyes were shining brightly. I noticed his eyes, they looked like mine. Wait….. Riddhima is still married to me! So is he…..
Veer: Mumma, let’s go home!
Riddhima: Yes Veer, we’ll go!
What? Is she going again? No, she won’t! Yes! Sia held her hand.
Sia: Bhabhi, please don’t go!
Riddhima didn’t react at all. She again went blank. Sia understood and with sad expressions she said,
Sia: Riddhima, please don’t go!
Riddhima smiled atleast. Dadi also tried to convince her. After a long process,
Riddhima(giving up): Okay! I’ll stay just for a few days.
Sia: One Month! Pleaseeee!
One month? I am sure that I can convince her in this one month.
Riddhima: On a condition!
I agree all damn conditions just to keep her in front of me.
Ishani: Accepted!
Riddhima: Okay!
Angre took Sakshi and Veer with him while Riddhima went to make a call. I need to ask Riddhima about Veer. She came back.
Riddhima: I’ll move to the guest room.
Why is she moving to the guest room? Did she by any chance forget that she’s my wife. But as I was lost, Sia guided her to the guest room. Sia left and I entered in. She looked at me.
Riddhima: Do you need anything Vansh?
Atlast she called me by my name. It sounds so beautiful and amazing from her lips. But for now, I need to focus.
Vansh: Who is Veer?
Riddhima(straightforward): He’s a child!
Vansh: I can see that! But who’s child?
Riddhima: Didn’t you hear him calling me Mumma? Definitely he’s my child.
Vansh: Veer’s my child?
Riddhima(without expression): Yes!
I am on the hundredth cloud. I can’t explain my happiness. But why is she so dull? And why did she keep us away?
Vansh: Why did you keep me away from our son?
Riddhima: Correction Vansh! I kept my son away from you!
Her son? Isn’t he mine too? He’s our son!
Vansh: But it’s the samething!
Riddhima: It’s different. I kept my son away from you and not you away from your son.
Vansh(holding her arms tightly): He’s our son! ‘OUR’ son!
Riddhima: It’s so easy to say Vansh that Veer is your son too and it’s equally easy to say that you love me. But where the hell were you when I needed you the most? What were you doing? Where were you when I cried out for nights? Where were you when I was struggling? Where were you when Veer was born? Where were you when I was suffering? Where were you when I was crying for my own identity? Where were you when I was depressed? Where were you when I was having suicidal thoughts? Do you have an answer? Then damn, I really want to know it.
Vansh(broken): You left me and went Riddhima. I tried searching for you!
Riddhima(mocks): Really? Did you? Vansh Raisinghania couldn’t find his own wife and son who were living in the same city but Vansh Raisinghania can definitely find someone who’s not even in the same country. It requires dedication! It requires love! Your efforts were weak Vansh!
Vansh: Enough Riddhima! Do you have any idea through what I went in these years?
Riddhima: I don’t have any idea and I don’t want to have any idea because you definitely must have suffered less. (commands) NOW LEAVE!
I didn’t want to ruin the relation which is almost broken so I left the room.
Riddhima’s POV:
If only I knew that after just coming to give the file to them, I would have to stay here, I would have never touched that file. Staying in the same house as Vansh, facing him everyday, will I be able to do it? Ofcourse yes! I can’t lose and fall apart. It took me so much of time to come at this position. A non-existent past of mine cannot ruin my future by being around me in the present. I am not come to destroy you Vansh, but I am equally not come to love you. I still love you but after loving you, I realised that how love can make a person weak instead of making them strong. I didn’t want to hide the fact that Veer is your son because I have already kept him away from you but this, in no way means that you would be able to snatch him from me. If you try, I wouldn’t take a minute to think to either bury you or burn you, ALIVE! He’s ‘OUR’ son, only biologically but technically, He’s ‘MY’ son.
Vansh’s POV:
After speaking to Riddhima, I landed in my room. Veer, he’s my son. I am his Dad. I am so happy but equally sad. Why Riddhima? Why did you do it? You took away my son from me. You didn’t let me know that he exists. You didn’t let me be there besides you during your stages of pregnancy. You didn’t let me be there by you when Veer was born. Am I so bad? Was I so horrible? I was lost in my thoughts when Veer entered my room. I looked at him and instantly hugged him. Then what Veer said filled my eyes.
Veer: Daddy!
I couldn’t control the amount of happiness arising in me and kissed him all over his face. He smiled, just like Riddhima.
Veer: Daddy, where were you? You didn’t even come once to see me. That’s why today Mumma brought me here to meet you.
I wanted to speak to him but he ran out after Sakshi called him and I sat down confused thinking about his words. There was a knock at the door and it was Riddhima.
Riddhima: Can I come in??
Vansh: Why are you asking? You can enter anytime you want.
Riddhima: Hmm…
Vansh:Btw, Thank you so much.
I hugged her but she didn’t reciprocate.
Riddhima: It’s Okay! But come down for dinner now!
I nodded and left.
Riddhima’s POV:
I didn’t want to inform Veer about Vansh being his father. Since I have always told me that his Dad is really busy. But being a parent, I could understand how hurt Vansh would have felt if Veer called him as ‘Uncle’. I am no way interested to go back to Vansh but I can let him meet Veer twice a week. Being a parent, I know how painful Vansh would feel to know that his child exists but never got a chance to meet him. I was lost in my thoughts when someone came from behind and covered my eyes.
Veer: Mumma, guess karo!
Riddhima: It’s Karan!
Karan hugged me and sat beside me in the table. Everyone eyed him as if he’s not a person. Veer came and hugged him and sat on his lap.
Ishani: Who’s he?
Riddhima: He’s Karan, my best friend!
Vansh: What is he doing here?
Riddhima: Didn’t I tell that I have a condition to stay here?
Vansh: But you didn’t say the condition.
Riddhima: Before I could say, Ishani accepted it.
Ishani: What was your condition?
Riddhima: That Karan will also come to visit me daily.
I looked at everyone. Dadi and Sia were smiling. Ishani and Angre showed unknown emotions. Vansh was blank. But I didn’t care for them.
Karan: Guys, if y’all are don’t examining me then let’s have dinner. I am really hungry!
Riddhima: How was the meeting?
Karan: What is cooked for dinner?
Riddhima: Did the clients like the deal?
Karan: I haven’t had lunch also today.
Riddhima: Karan, I am asking you something!
Karan: Didn’t you hear me saying that I am hungry? My hunger is important or meeting?
Riddhima: What are you saying Karan? How can you even think this? I didn’t expect this from you. I thought you would know my answer that definitely it’s the meeting that’s important!
Author’s POV:
Everyone present burst into laughter except Vansh. He didn’t like the fact that his wife was calling him ‘Mr. Vansh Raisinghania’ and being so formal with him while chilling and pulling legs of another strange man. The dinner was done as the family enjoyed the antics of Riddhima, Karan and Veer while Vansh was hating the fact the Karan had taken his place. After dinner, Karan went back to his house, Riddhima took Karan along with him to drop him to bed and Sia followed them while the rest of the family was in the hall.
Aryan: What happened Bhai? Why did you ask all of us to gather here?
Dadi: It’s because he wants to talk about Riddhima, right?
Vansh: How did you understand?
Dadi: Because I am your dadi!
Ishani: But bhai, Riddi….. Sorry Bhabhi is really upset, she isn’t even allowing us to refer her as ‘Bhabhi’.
Vansh: I know Ishani! But what shall I do?
Dadi: Vansh, it’s not the time to discuss this, we’ll think about it later.
Ishani: Even I think the same! She’s just come today.
Everybody agreed and went back to their room except Vansh. He wanted to apologise Riddhima for a last time. He wanted to see her reaction.
Riddhima’s POV:
I came back to the hall after Veer slept. He really enjoyed here. Only I wish if Vansh hadn’t done what he had, Veer would have been showered with this love since he was born. I was crossing the hall when I was saw Vansh. I decided to ignore him but,
Vansh: Riddhima!
Now what does he want? I don’t want to talk to him. Still, I turned back and faced him.
Riddhima: What?
He came closer to me and stood right in front of him. Looking in my eyes, I could notice his moist eyes venting out emotions. He’s hurt, he’s guilty, it shows that he regrets his actions, daily! But forgiving him is not something that I can end up on, right? After so many things I faced!
Vansh: I am Sorry! Please give me a chance!
Out of all the possible topics on Earth, he landed on Sorry! Wow! But a chance for what?
Riddhima: A chance? For what?
Vansh: To start a new life with you!
With me? Really? There was a time when I was longing to hear this but now, NO!
Riddhima: So that you can betray me for the third time!
He had a shocked expression on his face.
Vansh: What do you mean?
Riddhima: ‘Koi tumhe ek baar dhoka de, toh galti uski lekin agar wohi insaan tumhe dubara de, toh galti tumhari.’
Vansh: ??
Riddhima: Your first betrayal was when you entered as Vihaan in the house and hid your identity from me, Your second betrayal was when you teamed up with Ahana and planned to torture me. So technically, Mr. Vansh, aapka ghada bhar chuka hai! There’s no second chance, I had given you second chance even when you hadn’t asked for it. So now you should ask for a third chance. But still, Useless! You wouldn’t get it!
He was surprised to hear me like this. It’s not his fault, I have changed myself and changed for good!
Vansh: Riddhima but…..
Riddhima: What but? You entered the house as Vihaan and taunted me daily. You as Vihaan made me feel that made Vansh’s life horrible. And I believed everything since I was also guilty but definitely I didn’t deserve your betrayal. I ignored your first betrayal since I was blinded in your love. But no more! Now let me sleep and I’m here for a month since I can’t make Sia and Dadi upset so you can continue this Sorry session later.
Without wishing him a Good Night I left from there. I didn’t turn back to face him but I very well know that he’s upset. I came back to my room.
Author’s POV:
Next day,
Morning at 10:00am,
Everyone were gathered for breakfast. Veer came down along with Sakshi and went to Riddhima and hugged her. The family adored their bond. Then Veer went to Vansh and hugged him too and kissed him too. The family was really happy but equally surprised since Veer accepted Vansh so easily, but why not? Veer was small enough to understand.
Riddhima’s POV:
I can’t stop myself from admiring Vansh and Veer together. I wish I could see this from the time Veer was born. Unfortunately, I still love Vansh but I can’t forget the price I paid for his love. I can’t go back to him. But Veer is really happy here and for him, I can’t vent out my anger on them.
Veer: Mumma, come sit next to Daddy!
What? Why? So easily he changed his team!
Veer: Please Mumma!
I couldn’t ignore him and sat down next to Vansh after serving breakfast to everyone. I was about to start feeding Veer but then,
Veer: Mumma, today Daddy will feed him.
I looked at Vansh, his eyes were fill, showing the happiness he has been feeling. Vansh started feeding Veer and Veer quietly ate it. Without much antics. I was surprised by this. Maybe mood swings.
Veer’s POV:
Today, Daddy is feeding me breakfast. I don’t know why he was away from me but Mumma says that he is really busy. But today, since Daddy is feeding me, I was trouble him. So I choose to eat food quietly. Mumma always says that we shouldn’t cause trouble while eating but I listen to her sometimes only because then she gets upset but today Daddy is here!
Vansh’s POV:
My happiness has reached to a new level now! As I am feeding Veer, I don’t know since how long I have missed this moment. But now that I am living it, I don’t want it to end. Not so soon.
We completed breakfast and everyone got indulged in their own work. Ishani came in my room.
Ishani: Bhai, why not try making Bhabhi jealous?
Seriously? Riddhima is already upset if she sees with another woman, there’s no chance that she would stay calm.
Ishani: Bhai, listen to me, though it sounds stupid but Bhabhi still loves you and after seeing you with someone else she will respond.
I didn’t show interest so Ishani left. Her idea wasn’t bad. There’s no much harm in trying it out. I made a call to Roshni. We are business partners and she knows about Riddhima and me. I told her about my story and she agreed to help me.
Author’s POV:
Next day,
Vansh was sitting in the hall with Roshni and talking to her. Riddhima came in the hall and saw them together but ignored them and went to the kitchen.
Vansh’s POV:
Isn’t she upset? Angry? Jealous? Something?
Roshni: Are you sure that this would work?
Vansh: There’s no harm in trying!
Roshni: There’s only harm in trying, if she gets upset again then she would bury you alive! She’s Vansh Raisinghania’s wife, do you think she would show sympathy?
Vansh: Why do y’all think that I am stone hearted?
Roshni: Because you pretend to be one!
Roshni and I started laughing. I ignored Riddhima’s presence, though she was sitting in front of us, completing her work. It was hurting me to the core to ignore her but it hurt me even more that Riddhima had a negative response. From morning to evening, I was with Roshni but Riddhima didn’t show a slight frown. Does it not affect?
Riddhima’s POV:
In the evening,
I walked to Vansh’s room and knocked. He opened the door.
Vansh: You don’t need to knock!
Riddhima: Doesn’t matter!
Vansh: So?
Riddhima: I am come here to tell you something.
Vansh(hoping): About?
Riddhima: About Roshni.
Vansh: What?
Riddhima: As long as I am here in this house, please don’t get your girls in this house. I don’t want my son to see that. But once I am gone, do whatever you want! I don’t want my some to be affected.
I could notice his expressions which were hurt. He didn’t expect me to say this. He caught my arm and pinned me to the wall.
Vansh: Why can’t you see my love?
Riddhima: I did that once and I got the result.
Vansh: Riddhima!
Riddhima: ??
Vansh: It was Ishani’s idea to make you jealous.
Riddhima: Woah!! You heard her idea and implemented it. Nothing new, you have always heard about what others tell you and implement it in your life but never heard me.
Vansh: But…..
Riddhima: First, you brought a girl in the house for throwing me out of your life and today you brought a girl in the house for getting me in your life! Typical!
I left from there. What does he think? He’ll get a girl with whom he’ll interact in front of me and I’ll get jealous? I very well know that he doesn’t have any interest in any other woman. So why would he talking to her affect me? Moreover, the girl also doesn’t like him, she’s just his friend. Why would I have insecurities? I know Roshni because even Karan’s company has a deal with her. And we know that she already has a fiance. Bad move! But still, I won’t let him go so easily.
Author’s POV:
Days passed. Vansh tried his best to convince Riddhima but always got savage replies from her which made his mouth shut. To add fuel, Karan everyday came to his house and Riddhima spoke to Karan as if they belong to each other. But still, there were a few good things happening like Veer fond an unbreakable bond with Vansh. Veer started sleeping in Vansh’s room but wanted Riddhima to sing lullaby to him. So unwantedly Riddhima had to move in the room in the night. And sometimes, Veer used to hold her and sleep and Riddhima couldn’t remove herself from his hand, it used to break her. Vansh always tried to be close to her but failed. But whenever Veer said anything Riddhima used to listen. But Vansh was least interested to use his son to get his wife back. He knows his mistake and is ready to ask for forgiveness on his own.
The last day,
The family was very emotional since Riddhima would now leave them and go. They still hoped that she would stay but it broke when they saw her packing her bags. The whole family was together in the dining area. Veer was sitting on Vansh’s lap.
Veer: Mumma, why were you packing bags?
Riddhima: Baccha, we need to go back home.
Veer: But this is our home.
The family got happy on hearing Veer’s words.
Riddhima: Veer, but still we need to return.
Veer: Daddy will come us right?
Riddhima(heavy hearted): No! He has work but he’ll come to pay you visit twice a week (to Vansh) right Vansh?
Veer: But….
The conversation was cut off when Riddhima got a call and she went to answer it but when she returned, Vansh wasn’t present. He departed to his room.
The day passed and he didn’t step out of his room. Nobody went fo enquire about him since they knew it will break him more.
Riddhima’s POV:
In the night,
Where’s he? Today was our last day and tomorrow we would be leaving, Didn’t he want to spend this day with us? If not me then Veer? I can’t forget the fact that again I got used to Vansh’s presence around me. It’s getting even difficult for me to go away now. I’ll leave tomorrow. He didn’t even eat anything today. Not even breakfast! I should atleast take dinner and go. Humanity exists!
I served dinner in a plate and walked to Vansh’s room. I knocked but it gave no answer. I noticed the door open and thought of just walking in. He’s lying on bed. Is he not well? I kept the food at the side and woke him up from his sleep. He opened his eyes.
Vansh: It’s such a beautiful dream but I very well know that you aren’t near me. You hate me so much! If I ever knew that you would hate me, I would have killed myself that very day.
I couldn’t take it anymore. I kept my finger on his lips. He got up and hugged me and today, I reciprocated.
Vansh: I thought I was dreaming since everyday I see you in my dream, I thought this too was a dream!
Riddhima: It’s okay!
We got back.
Vansh: Riddhima, please just one last chance. I am sorry! I really love you and I repent my deed everyday. I always loved you! Please!
Riddhima: Okay!
Vansh: Really?
Riddhima: Ya! But this is the last chance. You betray me and the consequences will be horrible.
Vansh: I don’t mind them because there’s no way that I have to face them.
He hugged me again and then Veer came and joined us. He kissed us and again I sang lullaby for him as he went to sleep but today, I sang it for Vansh also as he slept by keeping his head on my shoulder and Veer on my lap. I feel blessed to have them.
Though, I didn’t want to forgive him, he still has to earn it but since Veer got used to Vansh and his family, I can’t leave him away. I can go to any extent for Veer’s happiness and it’s the only reason why I prolonged to stay here.
