Priya Rore had once left everything and gone back to Delhi after she failed to bag a good offer. Her hard work has paid off and the actress is all set to make her small screen debut with Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey. The show will also feature Yesha Rughani and Manan Joshi as the lead couple. Priya will essay the role of Manan’s sister in the show.
In a recent interview with BT, Priya talked about her journey so far and shared, “I came to Mumbai a couple of years before the pandemic struck. I gave multiple auditions and waited patiently to be offered TV shows. However, nothing materialized. Kuchh ho nahi raha tha toh I went back to Delhi. I also fell sick and that was another reason why I decided to go back. However, my friends in Mumbai encouraged me to come back and give it another try. So, I returned and gave auditions again. And as luck would have it, I was offered a pivotal character in Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey. The credit goes to Prashant Joshi (casting director), who spotted me and gave me the show. All the struggle and wait was worth it.”
Priya was earlier known as Ezara. When asked about it Priya shared, “Someone suggested using Ezara as it suited my personality when I started working. However, it led to a lot of confusion. So, I decided to go back to my birth name with this show. It’s a new journey with the original me.”
