The Episode starts with Dwarka asking who will teach her now. Malhar says Guru ji refused to teach Khanderao, he will teach Ahilya. Ahilya asks will he come to teach me. He says yes, you can go and sit in the class. He goes to his Darbar. Ahilya goes to her class. Gautama reminds her far relatives to Dwarka. She says they are coming here today to stay for few days, their son’s marriage talks are going on, you prepare to welcome them. Dwarka says sure. Gautama says I know you are much upset with Ahilya and Khanderao, Yamuna fills your ears and whatever happened with Gunu ji, Khanderao isn’t here, but there won’t be anyone to support Ahilya, don’t think so, I m with Ahilya as a shield, like I stood with my Khanderao. She goes. Dwarka says this shield is weak, because its Ahilya’s nature to make mistakes, like Malhar couldn’t forgive Khanderao’s mistake, you won’t be able to forgive her mistake. Ahilya learns in the class. Sarja and Renu come there to meet her. Ahilya goes to them and says you both here. Renu says we won’t let you stay alone. Sarja says yes, we will be with you all day, come. They leave.
Ahilya talks to them. She says Renu couldn’t study in the village, she can study here. She says I will teach you both whatever Guru ji teaches me. Sarja asks really, will I study, even boys don’t get to study in our caste. Renu says I m a widow. Ahilya says yes, but everyone should get education, I will teach you both, will you study. Ahilya takes them to the class and teaches them. She thinks of Khanderao. Yamuna comes there and stops Renu. Ahilya asks what did you do. Yamuna asks will you become Guru ji for entire Malwa, you got them into the palace, you are secretly teaching them, does anyone know. Ahilya says no, I will tell Gautama and take her permission, she will not refuse to me. She goes. Yamuna sends Renu and Sarja. Ahilya comes to talk to Gautama.
Gautama says I asked Yamuna to do that, she told me what you did. Bana says you got the permission to study, we all permitted you, you took this decision yourself. Ahilya says no, I just wanted Renu and Sarja to study, Malhar and Guru ji also say this, knowledge increases on sharing. Gautama says you have no right to take big decisions on your own. Ahilya says fine, but you take their test also like you took my test, if they pass, then they can get a permission to study. Gautama says we permitted you to study, it doesn’t mean that every girl can get a right to study, Malhar took this decision by going against the society, you are his bahu, if Renu and Sarja try to study, then society won’t accept it. Ahilya says we won’t let this news go out of the palace. Dwarka asks Ahilya to listen to Gautama and not argue. Maid comes and says guests have come. Gautama and everyone go and meet the guests. Malhar blesses the boy. The couple asks for Khanderao. Malhar says he went to Gurukul. The man says but you had arranged his study in the palace. Malhar says Gautama misses him, he will come after completing his studies. The man congratulates him. The lady compliments Ahilya. Gautama says your son’s marriage will also happen in a good family. The lady says we want to do puja at the temple tonight.
Malhar says sure, I have to go to meet Peshwa Bajirao, Tukoji will see the puja arrangements. He goes. Ahilya also goes after him. Dwarka says you think Gautama is saying nonsense that you are going to Malhar, it means you will just listen to Malhar, not Gautama. Ahilya says no. She sees Malhar. Dwarka stops her. Ahilya says I have to ask him, if he also feels its wrong if Renu and Sarja study, let me go. Dwarka says go and talk, I will go to Gautama and tell her that you are going against her.
