The episode starts with Dwarka saying Malhar isn’t in a position to talk to them, you thank them. Ahilya thanks them from Malhar’s side. Acharya says we will come when Malhar’s mental state is fine. He leaves. Gangoba and Tukoji stop him. Gangoba asks why did you leave suddenly, did we make some mistake. Acharya argues with him. He says Adharm happened, the people follow the king, when the king loses path then the people will also do wrong. Ahilya comes and asks what Adharm did we do. She says Malhar is in sorrow, he isn’t able to talk to you, don’t get upset and leave, his sorrow will get more by your behavior, if you felt insulted, then I m sorry. Acharya says no, I won’t accept anything from you, because you are a widow now, you are a sinner, you should have become Sati. She
Gautama goes to Malhar. He comes to senses and asks where did everyone go. Dwarka says Mahant ji left, he got upset seeing Ahilya. He asks why. Mukta sees the fort and cries.
Harku consoles Mukta. She says when such battles happen, many families lose their loves one. Mukta asks why does such fights happen. Harku says I don’t know, it kills many people and also the family who is left behind. Malhar hears Acharya scolding Ahilya. Acharya says if Ahilya doesn’t obey the Sati custom, then what can I expect from the people, everyone will oppose this custom, I don’t accept this. The men agrees with him. Ahilya stops them. Acharya says his family also. She asks is it a son’s duty to take care of his family or his wife’s duty also. He says both.
