The Episode starts with Khanderao saying I will always take care of you. Ahilya cries. She thinks I will always love you the same even if you don’t take care of me, no one matters to me than you. Parvati looks on and recalls Dwarka’s words. Dwarka says our plan isn’t working, Ahilya is still Khanderao’s priority. Gunu ji says Ahilya is conquering his heart and mind again, Malhar isn’t here but Khanderao isn’t coming to the darbar. Dwarka says Parvati has to control Khanderao. He says we can’t rely on her, she may need time, we have to change our plan, Khanderao worries for Ahilya, we have to make him worry in a way that it works for us, he will stay with Ahilya for her care, Malhar will be busy in the mission, someone has to take care of the throne. She says Ahilya will lose the darbar, palace and her husband.
Next day, Parvati and Khanderao are sitting in the mandap. The wedding rituals begin. Malhar comes there. He sees Ahilya crying. Everyone attends the wedding. Khanderao and Parvati get married. Ahilya recalls her marriage with Khanderao. Everyone smiles. They all go to the temple to pray. Ahilya thinks the baby makes me feel less burdened. Gautama goes to welcome Khanderao and Parvati. Rakma says you have welcomed Dwarka and did her aarti when she came, Ahilya should do the aarti now. Gautama says I will do. Ahilya says let me welcome Parvati, let me do the aarti. She does their aarti and welcomes them. Parvati smiles. She enters the palace. Ahilya cries. Malhar looks on. He calls out Ahilya. He says Gautama had got angry on me when I had married Dwarka, I stayed a culprit in her eyes for a long time, that time was tough for me, whatever you did today is tough for me, no anger and no complains, you have hidden your tears from Khanderao, how do you get such courage. He says you didn’t let Khanderao see your loneliness, tell me. She says frankly, I got this courage from you, this life isn’t less then a battle ground, I lost today, but I accept my defeat, I have to make my life better and find happiness with whatever I have. He blesses her.
Gunu ji helps Khanderao. Khanderao says you don’t need to do this for me. Gunu ji says you are my family, I like doing this for you. He says Kailash was wrong, you punished him right, but the other investors are feeling insecure, we have to show them the initial funds available for the development plans, else they can back out, maybe we have to cancel this plan, we have to find a solution. Khanderao says I don’t find any solution for this problem. Tukoji comes and says your life’s every problem has just one solution, Ahilya. Gunu ji says sorry but she is the root of the problem this time. Tukoji says Kailash got punished for his black deeds. Khanderao says we shall not dig this matter more. He asks Tukoji what did he come to say about Ahilya. Tukoji says yes, she wants to meet you now. Gunu ji says Khanderao has his wedding night today. Tukoji says she knows it well. Khanderao says she doesn’t need any reason to meet me, I will go and ask about her medicines also. Gunuji says I will come along. Tukoji says she wants to meet him in private. Gunuji says Khanderao can’t see anything in this joy of becoming a father, see how I use this against you. Khanderao asks why did Ahilya call me there. He comes to Ahilya and asks did she take medicines. She says I had it, you got married today, you got gifts from everyone, but I didn’t give you any gift, I want to gift you something so I called you here. She shows the jewellery and the cash box. Khanderao looks on shocked. She says this is the funds for the development plans, accept this and my wishes. Tukoji smiles.

Khanderao asks how did you arrange so much money. Ahilya says don’t think of that. He asks her to say it, else he won’t accept her gift. Malhar says I will tell you.

So sad, and this is NOT in the history books! Parvati and her family are horrid. How much longer before Gunu ji is caught out?
What they are showing is pure crap. Nothing of this sort happened in reality.

And some sources say khanderao had ten wives including Ahilya and had only 2 kids with Ahilya
I read from somewhere that at the time of khanderaos death all his wives did Sati except Ahilya cuz Malhar wanted her to help run the kingdom as he was very old
I am not sure if this is true even I was surprised when I checked it but just found this out
@Marvel, I too checked and it said Khandero had 10 wives but only 2 children with Ahilya.
I didn’t know that the other wives did sati though.
Yes, Ahilya ran the kingdom after Khandero’s death and lived until her 70s, after her death, Tukoji ran the kingdom as her son and heir died before her!
I love history and I hope that they will try and show the true story but as it’s TV, they will dramatize alot of it.
Hence what is being shown through Parvati’s behaviour, we all love to hate a b*t*h!
I have not seen much written about Gunuji though, strange to keep the son in law around when their daughter, Seeta is nowhere to be seen! It appears she’s at her in laws house and Gunuji is at his in laws house!
Gunuji is not remotely interested in his wife but in only the prestige she brings him as he has been shown to threaten to abandon her if he does not get it!
Why tukoji ran the kingdom? What happened to Ahilya’s son?

Ahilya son had a mental illness so he passed away early wen she was still ruling

No he was die during battle at young age he was not mad
Indeed this is becoming more like asoap opera from being a historical.Strange that the bride to be remains at the brides home gets married there and so very modern in an otherwise orthodox time ,when widows were illtreated and sati was prevalent.So much devaition from History.An otherwise shrewd statesmen cant see thru Gunoji’S conspiracies.
At many places, it is said that Shrimant Khanderao Holkar had 10 wives but there are no strong evidence to support this view. Also, it seems to be illogical that he had 10 wives at the age of 30 years(before his death) and he had only two childs and that was too from the Rani Ahilyabai.
