Punyashlok Ahilya Bai 21st October 2022 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com

The Episode starts with Gangoba and Malhar talking about sending help to the other King. Khanderao says I have written a letter for Delhi’s King, I will help him if he accepts my demands. Malhar says you got adamant again. Khanderao says no, you had told me that you won’t refuse to my wish. Malhar agrees. Khanderao asks why are you looking worried. Malhar says I m thinking to go to the mission myself. Khanderao says I m fine. Malhar and everyone come for Ganesh’s daughter’s marriage. Malhar blesses the bride. Ahilya says I have to talk to groom’s parents once. She says you said you will break the marriage when you didn’t get var dakshina. The man says yes, everything should be according to Shastra. She says sure, take this coin as Vardakshina, shall we start the marriage. He asks

what, just a coin. She says yes, its not written anywhere about the amount to be given, I have respected the Shastras. Malhar smiles. Groom’s dad argues with her.

She says you are doing the same, you prove it to me, why did you demand a big amount from Ganesh. He says its our right. She says this coin is your right, its better you agree with this. He says no, I m not ready, this marriage can’t happen. Ganesh begs him. Ahilya stops Ganesh. Groom’s dad says sorry, we will leave. Khanderao stops them. He says you are daring to go against Ahilya, this marriage will happen here right away, and in the Vardakshina decided by Ahilya. Gangoba says sorry, but they aren’t saying anything wrong, Vardakshina is their right, and bride’s parents’ duty. She says it can’t be their personal matter if its related to the society. He says there are many such matters to deal with. The argument goes on. Dwarka signs Rakma. They step back and go. Malhar says enough. He asks Ahilya, Khanderao, Gangoba and Tukoji to come aside to talk. Indumati tells everything to Ramjani and praises Ahilya. Ramjani says yes, I m also her fan, she is different. Dwarka and Rakma come. Dwarka praises her and says you took better care for Khanderao. Ramjani says I have no comparison with Ahilya. Dwarka says he is a king first, if he is happy then Praja is happy, if he is tensed then Praja is unhappy, I just want you to do your duty and serve Khanderao. Dwarka and Rakma leave. Khanderao says I know how to handle such adamant people and get marriage done at the swordpoint. Malhar says no, some relations are sensitive like clothes, we need a needle for them, not swords. He asks Ahilya what is her opinion about Gangoba’s words. Ahilya says when the bride’s dad can’t give the vardakshina and gets compelled to commit suicide, then this matter isn’t personal, this tradition was made by the rich who used to give the property to their daughters, but now this tradition is taken to the poor families, a dad does everything and saves money to pay Var dakshina for his daughter’s marriage, if he fails then he lives a suffocated life, times have changed, we should change ourselves and Malwa’s rules with time.

Malhar smiles. Gangoba says fine, if you think Ganesh’s daughter will be happy with this forced marriage. Ahilya goes to the groom’s parents. She says forced relations don’t give happiness, I request you to accept Ganesh’s daughter and agree for the marriage, else fine, as you wish, because you won’t get any Vardakshina. Groom and his parents leave. Ganesh cries and gets depressed. Ahilya asks him to trust Lord, the matter won’t get spoiled, the matter didn’t end, his daughter will marry that same guy, the guy’s family will come for marriage and take her with respect, its my promise.

Precap:
Khanderao gets a paan from Ramjani. Malerao says dad stopped coming here because of you, we aren’t getting our dad.
