The Episode starts with Gautama and Dwarka doing aarti of Khanderao and other boys. Ahilya thinks my turn will come next. She recalls Sushila’s words. She sits for the aarti. Gautam asks why did you sit here. Ahilya asks why, do I have to sit somewhere else, you will do my aarti now. Gautama says this puja is done for own child, you are the bahu, not daughter. Sushila’s words echo in Ahilya’s ears. Ahilya asks bahu and daughter are different? Gautama says you started questioning, yes, bahu is bahu and daughter is daughter, bahu can never become a daughter, remember this.

Ahilya says but my mum has told me that….. She cries. They all sit to have food. Gautama says the men will have food first and then the ladies, this happens since ever. Khanderao says such plain food.

Gautama says its a ritual, we have made the traditional food for Ahilya, have it and see, you will like it. Malhar says you like it right, Ahilya. Gautama says likes and dislikes don’t matter, she has to keep the tradition. Gautama stops Ahilya from having food first. Khanderao says everything happens as per my wish. Everyone eats the food. Ahilya also eats and feels its spicy. She drinks some water. She says its too spicy. She sees everyone having it. Malhar says I invited Gangoba for the dinner with a purpose, Gangoba told me that its an auspicious day after 4 days, I will declare Khanderao as my heir. Gautama and Khanderao smile. Dwarka is shocked.

Dwarka says if Sita was here, then I could have sent a message to Dhana ji. Yamuna nods and goes. Dwarka thinks four days will pass soon, don’t know if Dhana ji can help or not.

Dhana ji teaches sword fighting to his son Gunu ji and says who knows, you may need this to defeat Malhar one day. He gets a gift from Malwa haveli. He says don’t stop now, lets see how long can we protect this idol. Gunu ji asks do you know who has sent this idol to you and why. They continue the sword fight. Dhana ji wins the fight. He says focus on the fight. Gunu ji fights back. His sword flies and cuts the statue down.

They get the note sent by Dwarka. Dhana ji reads that Malhar is making Khanderao his heir after 4 days. Gunu ji gets angry and says he is making his useless son his heir, he just false praises me, how will we stop him. Dhana ji says he doesn’t know our truth, he thinks we are his well wishers. Malhar discusses about the event. Gautama asks Ahilya why is she eating so slowly. Malhar recalls Ahilya’s brothers teasing her for eating the food slowly. He says she has a habit to eat slow. Gautama asks him to go, she will sit with Ahilya until she finishes. Malhar nods and leaves. Khanderao also goes.

Gautama asks Ahilya to finish food, wash hands and come. She leaves. Ahilya drinks more water and eats the food. She cries. Everyone goes to pray. Ahilya talks to Shiv by her heart. Gautama asks her to come to the temple by herself every day. She goes. Khanderao and Ahilya argue. She calls him a devil. He thinks to scare her.
