The Episode starts with Gautama scolding Ahilya. Ahilya says its wrong to punish entire family if one does wrong. Gautama says its wrong to question so much, you didn’t learn to sit silent, you are not staying in your parents house, its your wish to not have food, you don’t spoil everyone’s sleep. She goes. Ahilya thinks of Sarja. Its morning, Ahilya meets Kaka and asks about Sarja. Kaka says everyone knows about Sarja’s poverty, sorry. She says you are like my dad, you didn’t do anything wrong, I wanted to help Sarja. He says I have heard it, Gautama should have heard you. He tells about Sarja’s house. He asks her to forget Sarja.

Ahilya comes back. Gautama asks her to go and take bath. Ahilya comes to call Khanderao. He asks her to give his pagdi. She helps him. He asks

her to give shoes. She says its kept there. He says make me wear it. She asks can’t you wear it on your own. He says you are my wife, I can do anything, I will wear the shoes from your hands. Ahilya refuses. Gautama comes. Khanderao complains about Ahilya. Ahilya says I have helped Khanderao, he asked me to make him wear shoes, he can wear it. Khanderao says Aai had told me that my wife will help me and do my work, I told her a small work for the first time.

Gautama asks do you feel ashamed to do your husband’s work, I do Malhar’s every work happily. She scolds Ahilya and explains wife’s dharm. Ahilya says even husband should support his wife. Gautama says moon can never take sun’s place, make him wear the shoes and come out. She goes. Ahilya cries. She makes Khanderao make the shoes. They all come to temple. Pandit tells about Khandoba Navratri puja, harku says we do this puja for every house’s prosperity. Ahilya and Khanderao do the puja.

Ahilya thinks of Sarja. She prays for Sarja. Pandit guides them. Ahilya asks what shall I do to help Sarja. She prays and gets an idea. She leaves in a palanquin. She goes looking for Sarja’s house. Everyone is praying at the temple. The lady says Sarja and her family is boycotted, you can’t meet her, I can’t help you, find the house yourself. Gautama looks for Ahilya. Dwarka thinks she is restless and angry. Ahilya says no one would have let me go out. Ahilya comes to Sarja’s house and sees her. Bana says Ahilya is missing again. Gautama says no, she would be in the palace, I will see. Dwarka says I will tell them where is Ahilya when the right time comes.
