The Episode starts with Khanderao coming to the family. He sits with Malhar. Ahilya’s brither makes her ready. He asks her to go when she is called outside. He applies kajal to her. He says you look beautiful, your Saas will see you and like you. Sushila and Mankoji treat the guests. Khanderao comments on the jaggery. Malhar says jaggery is given with water in village, its simple and best for the health, go to any village in Malwa, you will see this customs. Ahilya’s brothers talk that Ahilya got into an argument with Gautama in the morning. Ahilya thinks to call Khanderao and talk to him. Mankoji sees the shagun. He asks what was the need to do this. Gautama says I have to give shagun as per the family status, its my dharm to keep our status, isn’t there place to keep the shagun. Malhar
Gautama asks for Ahilya. Sushila says she is here, I will call her. Khanderao says its such a small house and so much crowd, I felt suffocated. His friend says yes, you are a prince, Malhar fixed your marriage with that village girl, even I would have not married such a girl. Khanderao sees some birds. He angrily throws stone at the pot. The birds fly away.
Sushila goes to call Ahilya. Ahilya cries. Dwarka asks for Ahilya. Mankoji says I will see. Malhar says Sushila has gone to take her, its fine. Mankoji goes to help the guards. Malhar asks Gangoba to go out and see if anyone needs help. He asks Gautama to come. He says you got many gifts for Ahilya’s family, I m surprised. She says I wish I could say the same. He says trust me, Ahilya will guide Khanderao and give him a right path. She asks what was the need to hurry. He says I have thought well. Bana asks is Gautama asking him to change the decision.
She says you have taken our son’s life decision suddenly. He says I also chose you in a hurry, I didn’t make the mistake to lose precious thing that time and even this time. She asks why are you comparing that girl with me, what’s special in her. He says I m not comparing you with anyone. She says Ahilya stopped the baraat and got adamant to meet Khanderao. Sushila feels tensed. She asks what, Ahilya stopped you on the way. Gautama says yes, nobody behaved like this with me, I didn’t face any such girl, you and your husband have courage to dream to make such a spoilt girl my bahu, that’s why Ahilya insulted our family on the way. Sushila cries. Gautama talks to Malhar. Mankoji goes to Sushila and asks what happened, why are you sitting here. Sushila tells everything.
