The Episode starts with Ahilya blessing Malerao. Gautama and Savitri congratulate each other and go to do a ritual. Ahilya says congrats. She sees Malerao going with Rakma. Gangoba says Malerao has proved it, how can Ahilya decide without giving him a chance. He asks Malhar to test her decisions, its not right that she takes the right decision. Malhar goes. Harku asks Ahilya to come. Rakma recalls helping Malerao and telling him about Ahilya’s test. She smiles. Peshwa learns about the new attack on the neighboring provinces. He asks does Malhar know this. The man says yes, Malerao’s wedding matter is going on there, we can’t force Malhar for this mission. Peshwa says there is no relation above country, Dev and Dharm, Malhar knows this well, go to Malhar and give my message.
Malhar tells everyone about Peshwa’s message. He says we have to meet him with our army, I just have one week. Ahilya says Malerao’s wedding rituals will end by then. He says yes, I have to leave on the next day, none should know about this mission. Gautama comes and asks Malhar to come for the ritual. Malhar says Gangoba makes me engaged in the work. Gangoba says yes, sorry. Gautama asks Ahilya to remember, she is Malerao’s mum, go and get him, perform the rituals. Ahilya goes. Gautama asks Malhar to come. He says good you have come.
Ahilya welcomes the guests. She smiles seeing Malerao coming with Rakma. She recalls Khanderao. She blesses Malerao. She asks him to come. He says I told Rakma that I will come with her, you have work, you didn’t want me to marry, Rakma will do the rituals, you do your work. He goes. Ahilya cries.
Malerao stays away from Ahilya. The rituals are performed by the pandit. Ahilya cries happily. Malerao and Mainabai’s relation gets fixed. Ahilya cries and recalls Khanderao. She goes to the throne. She sits talking. She says I will prepare Malerao for the throne. Malerao comes and challenges her. He says I will snatch everything from you, you will be upset and I will be happy, then you can’t come between me and my throne. She gets shocked.
