Naina enters the suite…
Sharda: Chiku!! What took you both so long?? Come finish your dinner…..
Naina: Mumma, just give me a minute, I will freshen up and come.
Sharda: Okay,Gudiya???
Sharda:Chiku,Gudiya kahan hai?
Naina: What? Di isn’t back?
Sharda: You went with her right?
Naina: Mumma, from the hotel I went with Kunal’s brother to a concert that I had booked for. I thought Di would leave after some time but she hasn’t returned yet?
Sharda: Try calling her….
Naina: Yes mumma.
Naina tries calling Meghna but her phone is shown to be fallen on the floor in the hotel itself.
Naina: Mumma, I will call Karan….
Naina dials the number. Karan has just entered his house.
Seeing Naina’s call he gets happy.
Naina: Hello Karan,
Karan (cuts her): Kya baat hai? Itni chaldi yaad aa gaya mera?
Naina: Karan, listen to me! Is di there with you guys at your house???
Karan: I don’t think so, wait I will check…
Karan enters his room and he sees Kunal doing some work.
Karan: Bhai!
Kunal: Karan! Date kaisa tha?
Karan: Bhai! Wait tell me one thing was Meghna bhabi with you till now?
Kunal: Arey nahi toh… kyun?
Karan: Hello… hello Naina?? Hello Naina, Bhabi nahi hai yahan…..isn’t she back?
Hearing that Kunal gets startled…
Kunal (to Karan): Phone de…
Kunal (to Naina): Hello Naina…. Just now, I mean, half an hour back, I had dropped Meghna at your hotel myself….where would have she gone?
Naina: Kya? I don’t know Jeeju… she is not answering my call also…

He takes his mobile out and switches the FIND MY FRIENDS APP to track her location. It reads the hotel address.
Kunal: Naina! I think she went back to the hotel… Why would she do that? Anyway I will go and check right away.

IN THE SUITE:
Naina: Mumma, di’s phone has been traced to the hotel. Jeeju had dropped her here. Don’t know why she went back.
Sharda: Chiku, I am worried for her. Come let’s go. I will come along.
Naina: Mumma, no you stay her. What if di comes back? There has to be someone here.
Sharda: Okay Chiku, Go. Stay safe and call me once you see her.
Naina: Sure Mumma…..
She leaves in a hurry….
IN KUNAL’S HOUSE:
Kunal: Bhai! I am going back to the hotel to check, if Ma asks about me tell something and manage…
Karan: I won’t let you go alone, I will come along…
Kunal: Hmm… Okay fine, come.
They leave for the hotel….
Naina reaches first. She sees the hotel closed at 8pm itself. She asks the nearby Tea stall owner about the hotel.
Naina: Uncle, when did the hotel close?
OWNER: Beta, this shop closes at 7pm.
Naina: What? Okay wait… (She shows him a photo) Have you seen her anywhere around here?
OWNER: Beta I am not sure, but a few minutes back there was an accident that occurred here, of a girl wearing a black salwar.
Naina (shocked): Woh di hi hogi…
By then Kunal and Karan come.
Naina: Do you know where they have taken her?
Kunal: Naina!!! Kya hua?
OWNER: the nearby government hospital I think.
Kunal (shocked): Kya chal raha hai?
Naina: Thank you so much Uncle.
Kunal: Tell me something yaar Naina!
Naina: Di mujhe lagta hai Di ka accident ho gaya hai….
Kunal: What???
Karan: Where has she been taken?
Naina (crying): To the nearby gvt. Hospital…
Karan: Naina, are you sure it is Bhabi?
Naina: According to the descriptions that uncle gave me mujhe aisa hi lagta hai Karan.
Karan: Chalo… Let’s go immediately and check…
They leave…They reach the hospital….
IN THE HOSPITAL:
Naina: Excuse me was there any patient injured in an accident brought here a few minutes back?
Receptionist: Yes mam? Who are you? But someone else brought her here….
Naina: I am her sister… Where have they taken her?
Receptionist: TO the ICU….Surgery chal rahi hai….
Kunal: Surgery? Who brought her here?
Receptionist: That lady….
She points towards some girl who sitting outside the ICU…
Kunal goes to that girl and calls out to her, Khyati turns…
Kunal: Khyati you?
Khyati: Bhai aap? Yahan?
Kunal hugs Khyati.
Kunal: Thank you Khyati you have done a big thing for me without knowing……
Khyati: Bhai! I don’t understand anything…
Karan tells her everything…
Khyati: Oh god Bhai! Anyway bhabi’s operation is going on.
Naina: Thank you so much…. I can never forget your help….Thank you…
Khyati: Its okay, first go and see your sister.
Naina runs to the ICU and looks through the door inside the room and she sees Meghna. She cries uncontrollably….Kunal comes and sees Meghna, he starts weeping too. Karan holds Naina.
Karan: Naina, sambhalo apne aapko. Bhai! Nothing will happen to Bhabi. Sab teek hoga…
Naina: Karan we need to inform Mumma.
Karan: Hmm…. You are right. Call her right now and tell her.
Naina goes to inform her mother. Sharda is shocked. Tears start rolling down her eyes. She immediately leaves for the hospital.
Meanwhile, in the hospital the operation is over.
Doctor: Don’t worry her condition is stable. She had some sever injuries in her shoulder due to which she had to be operated.
Just then Sharda enters.
Sharda: Chiku!! Gudiya kahan hai? Is she fine?
Naina: Mumma, di is in the ICU, she was operated on her shoulder. You have to thank Khyati, Jeeju’s sister; she was the one who brought her here?
Sharda (to Khyati): Beta, thank you so much. Mein jitna bhi tumhe thank you bolun na kaafi nahi hoga….
Khyati: Aunty, please, jaane anjaane mein maine apni bhabi ko bachaya hai…. I am happy she is fine now….
Sharda blesses her.
Kunal: Ma?
Sharda turns and looks at Kunal.
Kunal: Mein aapko ma bula sakta hoon na?
Sharda: Of course beta….
Kunal: My dad wanted to meet you tomorrow to officially confirm our wedding.
Sharda: Aise halat mein, beta….
Kunal: Exactly ma, that’s what even I was saying…..
But just then NK interrupts,
NK: Kunal!! Why should we wait will tomorrow, we can discuss right now in this very place, can’t we?
Kunal: But dad? Here? It is a hospital!
NK: So what Kunal?
NK (Turning to Sharda): Shardiji!! Will you get your daughter married to my son?
Sharda: Mein toh khud in dono ki shaadi ke bare mein baat karna chahti thi….meri taraf se haan hai Nk ji.
NK: Great, so it’s Final….
Kunal is really happy and he hugs Khyati and Karan. Karan is confused with his dad’s behaviour and Naina is still sad. Karan turns to her and looks at her sad face. He could not look at that ever happy face now sad. He goes to her, takes her aside.
Karan: Naina, what happened? Are you not happy with this marriage?
Naina: nahi nahi, I am very happy, but I am feeling guilty. I should not have left di alone.
Karan: Kya baat kar rahi ho yaar? Tumhari iss mein kya galti hai?
Naina: But…
Karan silences her by closing her mouth.
Karan: Whatever be it, but now Bhabi is fine and that’s what matters! Don’t worry everything will be fine.
He gives her a warm hug. After realising what they were doing, he released her. Khyati watches from behind silently and smiles.
Karan and Naina smile at each other and they join the others.
NK: Ok Kunal, I will leave now, take care of my bahu.
Kunal: JI dad.
Sharda: Kunal beta, actually I would advise you also to leave….
Kunal: Ma, till I Meghna doesn’t open her eyes I will not leave.
The entire family smiles.
Karan: and I will stay with Bhai.
NK: Okay then Shardaji…. we will take leave.
Kunal sees the family to the car and comes back.
Naina: Mumma you also go and take some rest.
Kunal: Haan ma…. I will leave you at the hotel and come.
Sharda: No no I will leave after Meghna regains her consciousness.
Kunal: Ma, I will let you know when she wakes up.
Naina: Haan mumma, I cannot answer di if you fall ill, woh mujhe daantegi…..
Sharda: Ok beta, I will go but promise me you will call me once Gudiya wakes up.
Kunal: Karan, Naina ka khayal rakhna… and call me if the doctor says something.
Karan: Okay Bhai!! Bye Sharda aunty….
Sharda: Bye beta.
They leave leaving behind Karan and Naina in the hospital and suddenly Naina faints. Karan runs to catch her and tries to wake her up.
Karan: Naina get up, Naina look at me.
Nurse: Wait sir, wait….
The nurse goes and gets some water and sprinkles it on her. Then she takes her inside the check-up room and checks her.
Karan paces around the corridor tensely. He had never been like that.
Nurse: Sir, kuch nahi hai. Your wife has fainted because she has been having an empty stomach.
Karan: Wife?
Nurse: She is your wife isn’t she?
Karan smiles and goes inside to get Naina. The nurse stands confused. Inside Naina slowly tries to get up, seeing that Karan runs to help her. He helps her get up. He comes out and makes her sit on the chair.
Karan: Naina! Are you mad? You haven’t eaten anything. Itni kamzor pad gayi ki behosh ho gayi. You have no clue how I felt. Mein dar gaya tha yaar. Didi ko dekhne aayi thi aur khud patient bannewaali thi.
He kept speaking and suddenly Naina silenced him the same way he had silence her minutes back.
Naina: Karan, I am completely fine.
Karan out of concern and love for hugged her tightly.
Karan: Don’t know what will happen to me if something happens to you. I don’t know, it’s just been a day since I’ve met you and I feel I have fallen in love with…..
Nurse: Mam, your sister has regained consciousness.
Karan and Naina look at each other and run towards the ICU ward but the nurses stop them and ask them to wait till they shift her to the normal ward.
Karan: Should I continue?
Naina: What?
Karan: Whatever I was saying.
Naina blushes and turns away. Karan hits his head and walks away somewhere. He is missing for the next 15 minutes. Naina gets worried.
He comes back.
Naina: Karan! Where were you? I was getting worried…
Karan: Was just checking if you feel worried for me too.
Naina angrily turns away.
Karan: Hamesha aise kyun mud jaati ho? Okay Okay, see here, See what I have got.
Naina turns.
Karan: ye lo, I don’t know which is your favourite food, but I thought it’s high time you break your fast. So have it.
Naina (to herself): Kitna acha hai. Kitni parva hai meri.
Naina: Thank you Karan.
Karan smiles with a sense of satisfaction.
Kunal (from behind): Acha laga yeh dekhe ki tum mere saali ka khayal rakh rahe ho.
Karan: Aur nahi toh kya mera bhi toh farz banta hai.
Saying that he smiles at Naina. Naina blushes and quietly starts eating. Kunal looks at Karan and smiles at him as if congratulating him.
Karan: Bhai! By the way bhabi has regained her consciousness.
Kunal: What? Then I will go meet her and come.
Karan: No, we have to wait till they shift to her to the normal ward.
Just then Meghna comes out in a stretcher and is taken to her separate room.
Meghna: Kunal, Chiku, Karan!!!
Naina keeps her food packet aside and gets up.
Karan: Bhai, aap pehle jao bhabi ke saath…
Naina: No, I will go along with jeeju.
Karan: You will first eat your food, varna mein bhi yahan se nahi hilne wala.
Meghna and Kunal smile at Karan’s concern for Naina.
Naina frowns and gives Karan a dejected look.
Naina: No I will go too.
Karan: Bhai! You make your saali understand, jab aap Sharda aunty ko drop karne gaye the na yeh….
Naina shuts his mouth.
Naina: Okay okay I will finish eating then go.
Meghna: Karan, what were you saying?
Karan: Nothing bhabhi, aap chalo hum aathe hain.
Meghna and Kunal leave.
Karan smiles at Naina stuffing food in her mouth and recollects what the nurse told inside the check-up room.
Karan (to himself): How I wish it was true.
Naina: I am done, Come lets go.
She is in such a hurry that she doesn’t notice the cleaner mopping the floor; she is about slip and fall when the hero himself comes to her rescue. They are caught in an intense eye lock.
Embarrassed they walk off to the ward together.
