Sona found the interview area and got herself a seat in the waiting lobby…
Her mind was not stable it was running like a mouse here and there…first she thought of getting the job and celebrating….within seconds that vanished and now she thinking that she will definitely not get the job…
Like her many eligible candidates were there and after an hour or so the staff called…Ms. sonakshi Bose….hearing which her heart skipped a beat and composing herself she walked into the room…sona had applied for the post of design analyser and she knows that she is highly qualified for that post….she sat infront of three people wondering who is Dev Dixit….but somewhere inside she felt he is not hear as none of the faces matched his name….after throwing few questions at her the panel was so happy and given the experience sona had in this field was an added feather….after three hours they announced that it’s Sonakshi Bose who will be getting the job….

Everyone were waiting for Sona’s call….aasha was swinging like a pendulum actually walking…
Dadi: aasha….sona will come and tell us…why are you so tensed…
Aasha : ma…it’s almost 6…interview would have got over ages before but she is neither attending calls nor calling us….
Bejoy : sona…is not a baby aasha…she is our daring princess…see she will come and say that she got the job…
“YES I WILL”….a voiced echoed…the whole family turned their heads and saw sona standing there with a wide smile….
Sourabh shrieked….I knew it..
Aasha was rather confused…what you know sourabh tell me….
Sourabh : ma…you don’t get it…see Sona’s face…
Sona came running and hugged aasha….
Aasha : so…????
Sona whispered….I got the job…now I am an employee in DIXIT INDUSTRIES…
The whole family was super happy and was hugging sona tightly….
Sona : okay now itself tell me what you all want from my first month salary…
Bejoy : I knew it…this will be your thought….but sona we will think about it later…..it’s celebration time…
Aasha ran into the kitchen and started preparing sweets…..
After an hour the whole family happily seated in the dining table passed each other the delicious halwa and gheer prepared by aasha….
Sourabh : waise sona when are you going to join?
Sona : a day after….it’s an auspicious day.
Bejoy : tomorrow is also good…why are you postponing….
Sona : a devil is going to land in Delhi tomorrow only I can control her…
Dadi : ahhh…is she coming…I have to save myself from her…she is really a devil…
Sourabh : who are you referring to?
Sona : bhaiya…it’s our cousin Elena she is coming to stray with us…
Sourabh : omg….I have to save my snacks otherwise she will eat it all by herself…
Aasha and bejoy were enjoying seeing dadi and sourabh’s reaction.
Sonakshi was flying high to see her family happy and now she went on thinking what she has to do with the first month salary….but somewhere inside her she felt stupid of herself for thinking about salary even before working…..but that is sonakshi, a perfect girl with her own imperfections ,a girl who loves her family than anything….little did she know what fate has in store for her….

The white Volvo with it’s proud owner entered into a bungalow….a woman in her late early 50’s was seen sitting in the stairs that led to the house…
By seeing her simple nature no one could even guess that she is the head of that huge bungalow….yes it’s Ishwari Dixit waiting for her lovable son dev dixit….
As soon as she saw the car…she quickly stood on her feet….
Dev came out of the car…and saw his mother waiting for him as usual…
Dev : ma…how many times I told you…don’t wait for me…did you eat?
Ishwari : dev…how will I eat without you….
“na….I am not ready to see this emotional scene of mother and son…hunger is pricking my stomach give me something to eat otherwise I will turn into a monster…”
Hearing such nice words from a tiny little girl…Dev grinned…
Ishwari’s ears turned red on hearing her….she shouted…Nikki….
Nikki : ma….I am hungry…
Dev : why?? Did you not have your dinner….
There came another girl who seemed to little older than nikki but younger to dev….
“ bhaiya…if she had eaten also this will be her reaction….I don’t know how she is always hungry…wondering whether it’s stomach or something else…” said riya happily walking towards dev and got his laptop bag…
The foursome walked in and a girl who seems to be of the same age as dev was sitting in the sofa and seemed to be not involved in their talks…
Of all the pampering he got…Dev was only bothered about that girl sitting sad…
Dev went and sat near her….
Dev: neha…what’s wrong?
Neha: bhai…I am just fed up with all these…
Dev : what happened? Did you not like this house….
Neha : I actually love it…but the problem is I am fed up of being locked inside the house….
Ishwari interfered….neha this area is new to us…till dev and I say it’s okay to wander around colonies near you three don’t have a choice but to be in house…
Neha’s heart sank hearing this….she looked pleadingly at dev…
Dev : ma…I thought of spending some time with you all tomorrow…so let’s all go out…
Nikki and riya shrieked in happiness…neha passed a wide smile….
Ishwari however was not impressed with this idea…but she gave in for dev….
It’s morning sona went to pick up Elena from railway station….
Dev and his family are getting ready to go out to spend a quality time together….
