Scene 1
Dadu faints. Everyone panics. Raj rubs his foot and falls into the ambulance. They rush him to the ambulance. Raj rushes him to the hospital and says nothing will happen.
Murali’s mom comes. Purnima isn’t in the room. She looks for Purnima everywhere. They find her and drag her out. Purnima says leave me. Let me go. She says you know what Murali will do. Purnima picks fire and says I will burn your all. Don’t touch me. They say come with us. Murali says I will never get married to him. He’s a monster. Get out of here or I will burn you alive. Mausi says you’re right you should sneak out. Murali comes outside as the groom. Raj gives Dadu emergency treatment. Purnima tries to leave. The women catch her. Purnima says I will never marry Murali.
Murali drags Purnima to the mandap. He throws her there. Raj thinks about Purnima. He can’t find his phone. He tries to call from the landline but he doesn’t remember his number. Raj calls Nirvan. He says don’t tell anyone but I need help in finding Purnima and her family. Raj asks Purnima to sit in the mandap. Sumitra says Raj is with the doctor. The nurse tells them he went out for some work.
Scene 2
Murali forces Purnima to take the phera. She recalls her moments with Raj. The pheras are complete. Purnima thinks about her call with Raj. Her dupatta catches fire. Raj throws water on it. Purnima is shocked. Raj comes towards Purnima. Murali and his men stand in the way. Raj beats them down. He beats Murali. Purnima is happy. Raj holds Purnima’s hand. The goons come towards them. Raj stands in front of Purnima. The police come there.
The nurse says the patient is in better condition. Who is Damaynathi? She says it’s me. The nurse says he was taking your name, you should meet him. Sumitra’s husband says I will meet him. Sumitra says let her meet. He was taking her name. He agrees. The other brother says to be careful when you talk to him. You already gave him one heart attack before.
Raj says to inspector arrest him. He was forcing this girl to marry him. Murali says he’s after my Purnima. He has an affair with her. Purnima says then why do you wanna marry me? He says you mom fixed our marriage. His mausi says yes whole village knows their marriage was fixed. Raj says the girl never wanted to marry him.. Ask him where Purnima’s mom and sister are. Murali says they went to the temple. Raj says don’t lie. Mausi says who is he to question us? The inspector says it looks like the whole village knows about the wedding. We don’t need to do anything here. Purnima says i am not of a legal age ot marry. I will be 18 next week. Raj says the inspector has arrested them now. They arrest Murali and his family. Mausi says this girla nd her mom both are characterless. Purnima says you can’t say a word against my mom. She says first your mom defamed our village. Now you’re with another rich guy. He will leave you like your rich dad left your mom. Purnima recalls when her husband kicked her and Purnima out. He had a wife and another daughter in the city. She said you married me. He said you’re after me. she begged him to accept her. She was pregnant with Rati. She says please accept us and what will happen to our kids. He said abort this child. He shoved her and said whose child is this that you’re naming after me.
Mausi says because of this girl our daughters will be demafed as well. Who will marry them? The women taunt her. They say both Purnima and her mom should be kicked out of the village. Raj says enough. You’re saying all this about a girl. Shame on you. Your son was marrying a minor girl and all of you were silent. You can’t respect a daughter of your own village. Keep your mouth shut. He says to Purnima let’s go from here. Do you trust me? She says yes. Purnima holds his hand and walks out of the village.
