Scene 1:
Location: Asad’s residence
preparations are on for Mehendi when nazma finds dilshad crying. she says that these are tears of happiness, on the wedding, and that today, asad’s mehendi would be on zoya’s hands. She says that mehendi just isnt on the hand but on the life too, and it creates a bond that is forever. Nazma listens intently. They begin greeting guests. Asad too arrives, but says that he doesnt know eher’s zoya. Nazma tells her that she’s getting ready and would come soon.
Seeing asad tensed, tanveer asks that he looks like he is still in tension on the marriage. Dilshad announces Zoya’s arrival. asad looks upto see her having come down dressed, in the sleeveless suit that he gave her. Asad says that there’s not tension. he looks mesmerised at
Asad is tesned, and tanveer gets him juice. She says that zoya didnt do right, as its okay in front of the family, but not in front of the guests. dilshad comes and asks whats the problem. she tells them about the scar, and what would society think. asad says that there’s nothing wrong in zoya wearing it, as he doesnt have a problem with the scar, and neither should anyone else, and as it is the scar shows how strong she is, after losing her mother in childhood, and other tragedies too, but never made it felt to otheres, and still tried to be happy with life, and keep others happy too. Asad says that she of all people should understand this and learn something from zoya. Asad leaves, and tanveer is very irritated.
nazma tells zoya that asad would have to find out his name in her mehendi, and if he cant, then he would have to give a gift to her. seeing tanveer standing alone, zoya comes upto her and asks why is she standing all alone. Tanveer says that she’s thinking how to strip her off her smile. Zoya smiles at this. Tanveer says that she’s always two steps ahead of her. Tanveer tells Zoya that asad always praises zoya that she never lets her face show the real pain that she’s going through. She tells Zoya that soon her mehendi would start, and she would herself ask them to stop putting mehendi on her hands. Tanveer says that she too would see what is her level of threshold pain. zoya is boggled hearing this, and looks at the mehendi confusedly. Dilshad says that she has brought in her mehendi. while zoya is confused, tanveer smiles, making her wonder whats her trap.
Scene 2:
Location: Ayan’s and asad’s residence
razia too is ready with her preparations. Just then, she and nuzrat are surprised by the sounds of a band, that has come with a message, about the promotion of new serial, Jodhaa Akbar. They discuss, how a woman can change a man into any mould.
Nuzrat is helping humaira to get ready, whiloe she’s tensed as to all of this happening in haste. She says that she had wanted this all along, but not like this, when nikhat is coping through this, and at that time, mehendi in her own hands. Nikhat comes with the ornaments and says that she’s fine, and asks her not to worry, as if her relation broke off, then her happiness wont be lessened if she gets engaged to ayan. They both coax her to stop worrying and enjoy this day, and smile as all around her are. Humaira thinks about ayan, and thinks that the person who should be the most happy isnt.
Badi bi says to rashid and shirin that this isnt the right time and occassion for this function, in light of nikhat’s condition right now. She says that razia wont listen to her, but she would listen to them as they are ayan’s parents. razia comes in with the preparations, and they are tensed to see this. razia hugs shirin, and shirin asks what has come into her, that she didnt even think what they are going through right now, after nikhat’s marriage broke off, and why was this function so important right now. Razia accuses her of thinking her of being insensitive, that she doesnt care about nikhat and only her daughter. She goes on to show who’s coming from the door. Shirin, badi bi and rashid are surprised to see haseena and Chandbi. Haseena comes and apologizes for her changed behaviour, and that after imran’s accident she thought that life is short, for such petty issues. Chand bi too is apologetic for her behaviour. shirin smilingly asks them to put it aside. Haseena compliments that razia is responsible for putting sense into her. razia asks if shirin doesnt have any problem anymore. rashid is speechless. Haseena says that now its fixed that ayan and nikhat would get married at the same day. Shirin is very happy while badi bi Nikhat, hearing this from a distance, wonders what suddenly happened, that right after ayan said yes, haseena too agreed on imran and her relation.
Scene 3:
Location: Asad’s residence
As everybody gets to putting mehendi in cones, she wonders what is tanveer’s trap, that would make her refuse to put mehendi. Dilshad gives her a beautiful necklace as a gift. Zoya takes it happily, and also gives a gift to her, saying that she always wanted to give something to her. Dilshad says that she’s very happy that asad’s name would be on her hand today, and thanks her for this day. Asad smiles and she too.(MITWA MOMENT) But seeing tanveer she again gets tensed. Tanveer too comes and hugs zoya, congratulating her. tanveer says that wouldnt she want to know, what she did. she goes on to tell that the bowl in which the mehendi is kept, she has mixed acid in it, which her hand wont be able top tolerate and she would have to say no. Zoya is shocked. The screen freezes on her face.
Precap: Zoya says that she wants tanveer to put Asad’s name on her hands, upsetting her. Dilshad gives the cone to tanveer, asking her to be very careful, to put a very beautiful mehendi on zoya’s hands, and especially asad’s name. As tanveer begins, she asks zoya to put the name Asad and not Jammy, as its on her hand, and not tanveer’s. She is very irritated and thinks that this mehendi would cost zoya dearly.
