Scene 1
Ibadat tells Dua that she isn’t going to court to win but to test Subhan’s conscious, if he doesn’t speak in my favor today then it will be easier for me to divorce him.
In the courtroom, Kaynaat tells Subhan to remain silent in any case. Mannat tells him that they are doing this to free him from Ibadat who has done nothing but lied to him. Ibadat arrives there and takes her position as a lawyer. The judge arrives there and is talking to his wife on call. All laugh seeing him trying to pacify his wife. The judge praises his wife’s family members so it will make her happy. All laugh hearing that. He ends the call and says wives make our lives difficult but they never leave us. Ibadat and Subhan stare at each other.
The court case starts, Mannat
tells the judge to just finalize their divorce. The judge tells her to take his seat because she acts like she is a judge. He tells her to shut up and asks Ibadat to start her defence. She nods and says I am still of the same opinion, if my husband remains silent against the filthy allegations on me then I am ready to divorce him. The judge says you are losing the fight so easily? He asks Subhan to say something, why is he silent? Mannat says she is playing an emotional game. Ibadat is characterless and we have even brought the guy who she has an affair with. Subhan’s lawyer tells the judge that he would like to call Armaan to the witness box. He brings him up and says this guy has an affair with Ibadat. Kaynaat says he is right, Ibadat used to meet up with this guy behind everyone’s back. The judge asks Armaan what’s his relationship with Ibadat? he is scared of her but Mannat tells him to just talk. He says I am scared of Ibadat. The judge says don’t be scared, just tell the truth. He says I have an affair with Ibadat, she said she loved me but now I know she has been lying to me and Subhan both. The lawyer asks him if he ever had a physical relationship with her? Armaan says this is a modern era so you know we crossed a line, I even had a consummation night with her before Subhan. Ibadat feels disgusted hearing that and thinks Subhan is still silent. Armaan says this Ibadat is characterless and can open her legs.. Subhan shouts enough.. he attacks Armaan and starts beating him up badly. All try to stop him. The judge asks them to calm down but Subhan keeps beating him up and says I won’t spare you for saying all that for Ibadat. I will kill you, how dare you call Ibadat characterless, she is my wife. Ibadat is elated hearing all that. Subhan is about to throw a table at Armaan but Mannat stops him and says enough.. have you lost your mind? why are you protecting Ibadat when everyone knows that Ibadat is characterless and will remain characterless. Subhan shouts shut up and slaps her hard. He says my Ibadat isn’t characterless. Mannat is shocked hearing that. Ibadat smiles and thinks thank God Subhan took a stand for me.
The episode ends.

Disgusting. Filthy. No words. That is the description of this entire situation:
1. The judge provokes Ibadat that she is "losing the fight easily". What is she "fighting" for? For a man who tried to rape her? For someone who is treating her worse than an animal? Why is it normalised for couples to fight and have issues? Even the judge sequence was dump. A partner should never "make your life difficult". Inexcusable! Toxic! And Subhan was never a partner to Ibadat. They never had any relationship, just a drunk night of passion, which Subhan doesn't even remember
2. With what right is the judge asking people who they slept with? Unforgivable! So what if they did? It's none of his damn business!
3. Another thing which is no-one's business is Ibadat's character! How is a woman's character defined by her s*xual activity? Is she harming anyone with those actions of hers? Is "cheating" even a valid reason for divorce?
4. This show promotes violence, murder, backward outdated morality and toxic "marriages". According to Rabb Se Hai Dua, a woman should always fight for her husband and "family", protect them at the cost of her own wellbeing and take their side even if they try to kill and rape her. Never before in my life have I seen a show with such a cheap mentality. And this isn't my first rodeo with ITV
