Bhargavi prays Narayan to send Srinivas by sunset at least for a few minutes. Srinivas with Govindraj and Padmavati heads towards Karvirpur. He thanks Govindraj for his help. Govindraj say he just wants to see Srinivas happy. Padmavati thinks he will meet Bhargavi and ask her not to interfere between her and Srinvias as they are married now. Govindraj tells Srinivas he didn’t do right by taking Padmavati along to meet Bhargavi. Srinivas he wants Padmavati to know what pure love is.
Bhrigu takes king Akash to a tree and describes a story that long ago Devi Lakshmi got angry on Narayan and hid on the earth. Srinivas disguised himself as a brahmin and searched for Lakshmi sitting in meditation under a tree. A sand mound develops around him. Mahadev disguised as a cow guards him each day. A cowherd gives the cow to the king. King Chola who is Akash’s past incarnation and gets angry seeing cow submitting her milk to the sand mound and hits it. The blow falls on the mound and brahmin in it starts bleeding. Cow turns into Mahadev and reveals that brahmin is Narayan. Narayan starts bleeding and his hair fall off.
King apologizes Narayan for hurting him. Narayan says because of his act, people will sacrifice their hair as an act of virtuosity and reveals that Chola will be born as Akash in his future life and Naraya will marry his daughter Padmavati. Out of flashback, Bhrigu reveals that Srinivas is Narayan who married Padmavati. He gives evidence of various accounts which proves Srinvias is Narayan and says if he wants his daughter’s prosperity, he should not let Srinivas meet Bhargavi as Srinivas loves Bhargavi. Srinivas tells Govindraj along with Padmavati, someone else also wants to stop him, but he will meet Bhargavi at any cost.
Bhrigu meditates and calls Mahadev. Devi Gauri asks Mahadev not to accept Bhrigu’s prayers as Bhrigu wants to separate Srinivas and Bhargavi. Mahadev assures he will not. He emerges in front of Bhrigu who demands him to not let Srinivas meet Bhargavi. Mahadev refuses his request. Bhrigu says it would be an insult to Narayan’s promise then.
