Hi guys, Bela here……….
Thank you so much for the constant love and support that all of you have given me. I want to thank all my faithful readers and even the silent ones. Once upon a time I was a silent reader myself. The transition from being a silent reader to an active reader to being a writer has been a bit tough(considering my level of laziness which is extreme????). But the journey of Tu Ki Jaane Pyaar Mera has been amazing. It was a story which was always on my mind but I was afraid to pen it down. Thank you so much for being supportive and patient readers who took out the time to read this story and express their opinion and love. Raglak is love. Thanks for being a part of this story where Ragini and Lakshya became Raglak.

Let’s see how Raglak are 8 YEARS LATER…………….???
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
“RAGHAV!” I screamed. I entered the hall to find him sitting very comfortably on Maa’s lap, smiling flirtatiously at her, causing her to blush. He turned to look at me and gave me that big smile that made him look eeringly similar to his father.
Raghav Lakshya Maheshwari, aged 5, is our elder son. He is basically, a mini-Lakshya. Not only does he resemble him in his appearance, his actions have convinced everyone that he is going to make his father proud one day.
Speaking of being similar, the only thing that he didn’t inherit from his father was his attitude towards milk. While Lakshya is a great foodie who shoves down ANYTHING into his mouth, Raghav dislikes milk. Which was the reason why I was shouting at him. Turns out, he fed the milk to Lakshya again who, being the dimwit he is, happily obliged. When I caught him, he smiled just like his son is smiling right now. I am well aware that this is a strategy adopted by the father-son duo to ‘patao’ me and I am ashamed to admit that it always works! What can I do, I am always disarmed by that charm which Raghav seems to have inherited from Lakshya in a huge dose!
The aforementioned son of mine was currently reciting a joke to Swara, who doted on him, all the while, sitting on Maa’s lap. Holding his hand was Pari bhabhi while Uttara and Chachiji were sitting on the couch opposite to him, engrossed in the joke. I sighed. He has charmed every woman of the house. Including me. In the typical ‘Lakshya Style’.
My chain of thoughts was broken by the sound of laughter. I turned to Raghav and glared at him. He smiled sweetly and said, “Ohho, jaan! Agli baar kheer bana dena. Then I will not give it to Papa. I will eat it myself!”
I narrowed my eyes at him. Ya, sure! Why not? I lifted him in my arms and took him to his room, while he gave flying kisses to all the ladies who started giggling!
I placed him on his bed and rummaged through his wardrobe to find his shirt. We are having a family dinner tonight and Raghav, being Lakshya’s blood, loves to dress up. I felt someone tugging my sari and turned around to find him staring up at me with his big black eyes. He held me by my hands and made me sit on the bed. He kneeled down in front of me, still holding my hands and asked, “Are you angry?”
Aww……..I can never be angry at you my baby! Not you and not your father, who has started the annoying habit of drooling on me in his sleep. I pulled his cheeks and lifted him up to place him on my lap. I hugged him tightly and replied, “No. Never.”
Raghav gave a self satisfied smile and gave me a big wet noisy kiss on my cheek. He said, “Hmm……I knew. You can’t stay angry at me for too long. I am too handsome for that………..!”
I smiled widely and nodded my head. His words brought about the precious memory of my delivery and the moments between Lakshya, Raghav and me.
***Flashback***
City Hospital, Kolkata (April 10, 2018)
Ragini was sitting up on the bed. Her face was a bit tired and pale. She had her hair up in a ponytail. She was looking at Lakshya who was holding their newborn son and cooing happily at him. She had a big smile on her face.
“Aww mera real bachcha……….so cute! Ekdum papa jaisa! The second most handsome man in the world!” Lakshya was excitedly telling his son who seemed to frown at the last part.
Ragini knitted her eyebrows in confusion. “Second most?” She asked Lakshya.
Lakshya looked at her and rolled his eyes. “Obviously. The first is me, of course!”
The baby smiled at that, as if he understood his father’s poor joke. Lakshya smiled widely at him and then at Ragini who shook her head at him in fondness. Lakshya came over to Ragini and kissed her on her forehead, whispering ‘Thank you so much’ multiple times.
“What shall we name him?” He asked her. Ragini looked at him fondly and replied, “Whatever you wish.”
Lakshya seemed to think hard for a while. Suddenly he brightened up and said, “Lakshya Jr.!” Ragini made a pukish face at that and the baby started crying badly. While poor Lakshya was heartbroken that his son didn’t approve of the name and so started crying, he didn’t know that actually, the baby was hungry. He was a new father after all!
“Raghav. Ragini’s son. Raghav.” Came Sanskaar’s voice who had just entered the room with Swara. Raghav gave Swara, what looked suspiciously like a wink, but was in reality just an innocent blink. Lakshya pouted. “He is my son too!” He whined.
Swara rolled her eyes at him. “Well, anybody looking at him will have no issues in figuring out who his father is. So the only way in which we can determine who the MOTHER is, is by naming him something which matches with her name. Like a tribute, you know?” She said. Lakshya looked impressed. He turned to Ragini. “So, Raghav it is. Raghav Lakshya Maheshwari!” he said with finality.
***End of Flashback***
Raghav is a brilliant boy. A great flirt who looked like Lakshya, acted like Lakshya but had brains like me. Perfect. I smiled.
“And then Ms. Basu told me that I was very cute and that I would be a heart stealer one day!” He finished his tale happily. He looked up at me with a frown on his lovely chubby face and asked, “Mama, what does a heart stealer mean?”
I smiled awkwardly. Umm…….? I spoke the first thing that came to my mind. “Umm….your papa. Someone like him.” I said. Raghav looked happy at the prospect of becoming like his papa and smiled beautifully. I realised belatedly that this piece of news would eventually reach Lakshya and then I would have to bake a chocolate cake to pacify him!
Speaking of the devil, Lakshya Durgaprasad Maheshwari entered the room in full style. The only glitch to his otherwise perfect entry was a large stain on his shirt which suspiciously looked like potty. Definitely our daughter must have soiled her diapers again! Lakshya had a helpless look on his face and was scrunching up his nose in disgust. “Ragini…….ewww!” He said to me. I nodded sympathetically and rushed out of the room to inspect her while I heard Raghav shouting, “STAY AWAY FROM ME, YOU HEART STEALER!”
I slapped my forehead and ran faster towards our daughter’s room. I found her on the floor, diaper in her hand, flapping it happily.
Lavanya Lakshya Maheshwari, aged 9 months, is our younger daughter. The apple of her father and grandfather’s eyes. She looks like me but has inherited her father’s habit of poking her nose into things not meant for her. And remaining confused. I scooped her in my arms and changed her diapers. After cleaning and powdering her, I carried her to Raghav’s room where Lakshya, having changed his shirt, was having a serious conversation with him on how to steal cookies from the jar in the kitchen. Lavanya giggled as soon as she saw Lakshya and hopped onto his lap. Another similarity between us. Our undeniable happiness at seeing Lakshya.
Raghav went out to find his playmate Sanskriti, Swara and Sanskaar’s daughter. As I watched him go away, I heard a voice behind me, “So I am a heart stealer?”
I turned around to find my husband of almost nine years smirking at me. I smiled prettily and nodded. He tapped his chin in wonder. “I wonder whose heart I have stolen………” He mused.
I went to him. He put Lavanya down and held out his hand to me. I held it and he pulled me towards him. I fell on his chest. “Mine.” I whispered.
I raised my eyes to meet his. His shiny black eyes danced with joy, hearing my answer. I blinked and then, gave him a big smile. He smiled back.
We were interrupted by Lavanya who had started a fuss as she had been neglected. I went out of the room to calm my erratic heartbeat and hide my blush as I heard Lakshya singing a nursery rhyme to soothe our daughter.

I patted her head rhythmically as I continued my chain of thoughts. My life has changed so much. And definitely for the better. There was a time when I would have frowned upon the idea of having a family with a wife and two kids before I turned 35. And yet, here I am, at 32 years, father to two beautiful children with a wife who is my life. And my own interior designing firm. That had been a joint effort by Ragini and me. I took almost a year and a half to cure and Ragini used to make me design as my hobby. She managed the finance and business part of it and so, when I came out of the asylum, fully cured, I was already one of the most promising interior designers in the city. Ragini held off getting pregnant till I had settled. And so, it was almost four years after my marriage that I became a father.
With a grim face, I recalled the memories of the past when I was undergoing treatment. They had been torturous. I was taken to Darjeeling, away from my loved ones to an isolated asylum. The only respite I had were the weekend visits Ragini made. At first, it was very difficult. For almost six months, I refused to meet my…….alter ego. I was scared. I tried to avoid the situation a lot. I talked to the doctors and counsellors, participated in all the activities they asked me to but I refused to do the one thing they required me to. To advance my treatment.
It had taken a lot of persuasion by Ragini to convince me that I was only prolonging my stay there by not cooperating. The idea of getting out and living my life with my Ragini proved to be the strength I needed. Seven months after I had been brought to the asylum, I agreed to face ‘Lucky’.
The meeting had been remarkable. I had been semi hypnotised when Lucky came out. We were told by the doctor to ‘talk’ to each other. At first, I had been awkward. Obviously, this devil had laid his eyes on my wife and even tried to kill her! Until I realised that the devil was I, myself. We said hi and he proceeded to explain to me why he had done what he had done.
To be frankly honest, I empathised with him. I understood why he came and why he took charge. I felt his concern for my happiness. And that made me soften towards him. Soon, we were talking on a regular basis, sharing our hobbies, interests etc.
I came to know that he liked biking and drinking. I told him that I liked drawing and eating. His reaction to my eating statement had been hilarious. He was funny, I had to admit. Witty, sarcastic and……………..sinister. His plans and ideas made me scared at times. He plotted to get out of the place by seducing the nurse who came to take me out for walks everyday. It creeped me out how he had no regard for anybody else. He was violent at times and smooth and suave in the next. He tried to hurt people and then he used to act as ultra sweet. It made me strengthen my belief that he wasn’t really a friend. And that HE was certainly capable of trying to blackmail people and kill them.
Eight months later, we were finally integrated. I had become confident. I had become secure. I knew that there had been a time when I needed Lucky. But now, I was happy. I had a wife who was my best companion and my dream work to look forward to. Despite all that he had done for me and to me, I didn’t need Lucky anymore. And I think he realised it too. He had been resistant at first to come out and interact with the doctors, I was told. But eventually, he resigned to his fate. And so, on a bright morning, I said my final goodbyes to the man who had been with me for so long. My ‘pseudo friend’. Lucky. We were integrated through hypnotism and so, ended the Lucky saga. The doctors told me that people take almost a decade to cure themselves but I had been really fast. My only answer had been that I had somebody beside me who made me strive harder.
Coming out, the first thing I had done was to go to a restaurant and eat all the delicious spicy food. I came back to Kolkata, met my loved ones, spent some happy moments with them. I even tried to build a new relationship with my father. We were now on a friendly basis. The damage had been done. But we were trying to come together to give my children a better future and a great home environment.
I looked down at my daughter who was now sleeping peacefully with her mouth open. Lavanya. Named after me. She is beautiful. Just like her mother. Brown eyes, shiny black hair and that pretty smile which made my knees go weak every time she and her mother tried it. Although she was so young, we had realised already that she was as confused as I was. And that really did wonders to my ego and happiness. Speaking of similarity, my thoughts went to the person who was most similar to me.
Raghav. My son. He is really the best son in the world. And I try to be the best dad to him. I have always been cautious in not comparing him to anybody or shout at him. I do not want another Lucky forming. I try to give him all the time and attention which I hadn’t been given. I let him breathe. And that has paid off well. Raghav is the happiest child in the world who is everyone’s darling. He idolises me and loves spending fun time with me, flirting with Ragini and babysitting Lavanya. He is a Mini me. I grinned.
“Kahan kho gaya?” Sanskaar asked me. He sat on the couch and looked at me.
I smiled. “Nothing. Just thinking about our past. You remember Bhai, there was a time when we both were at loggerheads with each other over Swara. And now…..”
Sanskaar smiled. “The prince won the princess’s hand! I won!”
I rolled my eyes while he burst out laughing. I continued. “No bhai. Seriously. There was a time when I was sure that she is the one. Later of course, HE told me that it was because of his influence. But I wonder sometimes that had I been……normal, would I still have chosen Swara? Would I have broken off my marriage with Ragini?”
Sanskaar looked at me. “What do you think? Would you have fallen in love with Swara and ignored Ragini?”
At the next moment, Ragini entered the room in a hurry. “Lakshya…….please save me! Raghav wants to gel my hair with your shaving gel! I will go bald! Ahaannnn…….no! Please save me!” She cried. She fell into my arms and I hugged her tightly. I looked over her shoulder at Sanskaar. I shook my head and mouthed a ‘No.’ Sanskaar smiled and stood up. “I will see that my champ forgets where he put that gel! See you both!” He said as he walked away.
I looked down at my wife who was sniffing my shirt. I smiled widely. Never in a million years would I choose someone else over her. She is Ragini. I am Lakshya. And together, we are meant to be Raglak.

“Ye kaali kaali aankhein…
Tururu….tururu”
Raghav sang and danced with Swara, who was looking at him adoringly, as I watched on dispassionately. It is a blessing that this chipmunk wasn’t born at the same time as us! If that had been the case, I would have lost my Swara even before I got her!
Raghav kissed Swara on the cheek and then turned to me and smirked. “Umm…….Shona baby! Who is cuter- me or bade papa?” He asked pointing at me. Swara looked at me and then snorted. “Obviously, YOU!” She cooed and pulled his cheek. She got a reward of a sloppy kiss on her other cheek as the firecracker went off to find someone else to bother.
I pouted and turned away from Swara. She came over and kissed me noisily on my cheek. “You are definitely hotter and more handsome though. And mine!” She whispered in my ear seductively. I could feel a blush creeping up my ears. I turned to Swara and looked around. No one. I leaned in to kiss her…………..
“Bade chachu………where is Sanskriti?” Pranjal, Adarsh bhai’s son, entered and asked. We quickly shuffled and changed our positions. The child looked at us with an expectant look.
Pranjal was the eldest son of this house and 8 years old. A very obedient and ‘adarsh son’. He is a brilliant elder brother to all the children and is particularly close to Sanskriti, who is two years younger than him, and Raghav. He is mischievous though. Certainly not Raghav’s level, but still. A bit.
“Beta she is in her room, preparing for tonight’s dinner.” Swara answered. He smiled politely at us and went away. As he reached the door, he turned and said with a naughty smile on his face, “I will tell everyone what you both were doing!” And ran off.
I slapped my hand on my forehead. This generation is going to be the death of me and my romance………

“Aye aye aye aaye ya….aye aye aye…yaaaaaaaaa” Swaroop, Swara and Sanskaar’s 2 year old son, replied to my query. The said query had been about whether he liked the blue sari or the pink sari better on me. And his reply had been………..enthusiastic, if not understandable.
Swaroop is a typical chatterbox. Totally opposite to his elder sister. Fully Swara’ son, in short. Although he hasn’t started speaking yet, he is determined to talk. Nonsense, obviously.
He was still blubbering when his idol, his guru, his love, my son Raghav, entered the room. He looked at me and frowned. “Eww……pink? You know what? Khushi likes pink. And you know na, Mummy, that I don’t like her!” He made a face and said. Swaroop stretched his hand and Raghav took it smilingly and plopped down on the couch beside him.
Khushi Sengupta is Raghav’s classmate who has a huge crush on him(although I have no idea how five year olds can develop crushes!) She follows him like a lost puppy everywhere and has made handwritten wedding cards for her and Raghav’s marriage as well! Lakshya finds it very funny. So do I, to be honest. Raghav, however, doesn’t.
“Wear the red sari. You look very buteefool in it. Ohho Mamma! Why did you marry Papa? Couldn’t you have waited a few more years? After that, I would have been born and you could have married me……..” Raghav asked sadly. I giggled while he brightened up. Beside him, Swaroop jumped up and down happily.
“Achha bachchu…….flirting with my innocent wife in my absence! Come here…..I won’t leave you!” Lakshya came inside the room and started chasing Raghav around. Lavanya crawled in behind him and started following him on her hands and knees. Swaroop ran behind her, trying to catch her( he loves her to bits and pieces). Overall, it looked like a circus!
We came downstairs some time later after I had dressed up in a red sari, with Lakshya and Raghav’s blessings. We came to the hall and found Dadi Maa with Shomi Maa and Papa, already sitting and having tea.
Dadaji is no more. He had a minor heart attack some years ago but was unable to recover. His demise cause me to go into a depression for several months. He had been very important to me. He had been the one who had taught me mythology, he had encouraged me to start sitar and he had brought to me Lakshya’s photo. He had been instrumental in shaping me. To lose him was like losing a very important part of me. Tears came to my eyes.
Lakshya wrapped his arm around me. “He is up there you know. Watching us all and smiling at us. And frowning at Raghav for trying to flirt with your Dadi…..!” He said to me. I chuckled and found my son really trying to do that. And succeeding, like always.
“Swara beta, has Swaroop started speaking yet?” Papa asked. Swara shook her head and looked at her son. He looked up and smiled widely. “Bhai……” He croaked towards Raghav. Everyone gasped. Raghav looked at him and then smiled widely. He jumped off Dadi’s lap and ran towards Swaroop. “Say that again.” He ordered. Swaroop smiled and obliged, “Bhai…” He whispered.
Everyone started clapping and Swara started weeping in joy. Raghav lifted Swaroop in his arms and rotated him a bit then put him down and screamed, “Haaye……meri kamar!” Everyone laughed. Soon, all of us started playing with Swaroop, asking him to pronounce words like Mama, papa, dadu etc.
“What was my first word?” Raghav asked. I looked at Lakshya and started blushing. I recalled the incident.
***Flashback***
An almost 2 year old Raghav was playing with his toys on the floor happily and making strange guttural noises. Lakshya was slouched on the sofa and working on his laptop. Ragini entered the room with a tray in her hand. She handed Lakshya a cup of tea and he smiled at her in thanks. She smiled back and then lifted a cup of milk and went to Raghav.
The drama queen…….sorry, king, started his fake crying in order to escape the torture. However, Ragini stayed put. Meanwhile, Lakshya had ditched the laptop and his tea(OMG!) and was looking at them with an amused smile.
Raghav shook his head vigorously and tried to run away. Ragini caught him. Just as she was about to force feed him, he looked at her with puppy dog eyes and said, “Jaan……..”
Ragini froze with shock. She blinked repeatedly. Taking advantage of her confusion, Raghav scrambled off hurriedly. She looked up at Lakshya in wonder who was frowning deeply. “Did he just call MY wife as JAAN?” He asked in moderate irritation. Ragini slapped her hand on her forehead. Her son’s first word was what his father used as an endearment for her. Great! Now she would have to deal with two flirts who love calling her ‘Jaan’!
***End of Flashback***
I turned to Raghav to answer him and found that he had already left to play. I sighed in relief. No more answering embarrassing questions!
An hour later, we were all still talking to each other. Suddenly, we heard a commotion. We saw Raghav brandishing his toy gun at everyone shouting ‘Hands Up!’ at everybody. All of us humored him by doing so. However, Lakshya just stood beside me, hands in in his pockets, indifferently.
I made an innocent face and Raghav immediately said, “Ohho Jaan…………..you put your hands down. You are my girlfriend, after all! And you…..Mr. Papa, put your hands up or I will shoot!”
Lakshya rolled his eyes at him and then slowly replied, “I. Will. Not. Do. It. What will you do? Cry? Uaaan……uaan……” Lakshya made fake crying noises and rubbed his eyes.
Raghav narrowed his eyes at him. Then smirking evilly, he pressed the trigger. A jet of water sprayed out from the gun and into the pants of Lakshya, directly on his crotch. Lakshya looked at him in shock while Raghav turned to Papaji and screamed, “Dadu, look! Papa ne pant mein susu kar di……….????”
Everyone roared with laughter while Lakshya looked at him murderously. He started chasing Raghav everywhere while Raghav kept on shooting the water to wet his face, arms, legs and wherever he could reach.
Tears came to my eyes due to excessive laughter. I wiped my tears and hugged Lavanya tightly who looked very excited. This was my life. The life I had always dreamt of. The life I am living now.
After dinner, we chatted for some time and then my family returned to Baadi. All of us retired to our rooms as well. While everybody was tired, I felt particularly energised. Lakshya and I put the children to bed and then went to our room as well. Lakshya plopped down on the bed while I went out to the balcony.
Somehow, I still do it. I know that my mother won’t be coming. But I just can’t help but hope. And that hope makes me come to the balcony every night, to look at the moon and try and search for my mother.
I looked at the full moon, looking beautiful with its silver light. There were small clouds sailing through the dark sky. I began singing softly.
Main tenu samjhawan ki
Na tere bina lagda jee
Main tenu samjhawan ki
Na tere bina lagda jee
Tu ki jaane pyaar mera
Main karoon intezar tera
Tu dil tui-yon jaan meri
Main tenu samjhava ki
Na tere bina lagda jee
Tu ki jaane pyaar mera
Main karoon intezar tera
Tu dil tui yon jaan meri
Main tenu samjhawa ki
Na tere bina lagda jee
I felt hands encircling my waist. I tilted my head a little and saw Lakshya smiling at me. I smiled back. He twirled me around and started singing.
Mere dil ne chun laiyaa ne
Tere dil diyaan raahan
Tu jo mere naal tu rehta
Turpe meriyaan saaha
Jeena mera.. hoye
Hun hai tera, ki main karaan
Tu kar aitbaar mera
Main karoon intezar tera
Tu dil tui-yon jaan meri
Main tenu samjhawan kee
Na tere bina lagda jee
He twirled me once more and hugged me tightly. I stepped back and held the railing. I resumed singing.
Ve changa nahion keeta beeba
Ve changa nahion keeta beeba
Dil mera tod ke
Ve bada pachhtaiyaan akhaan
Ve bada pachhtaiyaan akhaan
Naal tere jod ke
Tenu chadd ke kitthe jawan
Tu mera parchhanvaa
Tere mukhde vich hi main taan
Rab nu apne pawaan
Meri duaa.. haaye
Sajda tera kardi sadaa
Tu sun iqraar mera
Main karoon intezar tera
Tu dil tui-yon jaan meri
Main tainu samjhawan ki
Na tere bina lagda jee
He dipped me and we ended the song together, looking at each other lovingly. Lakshya wrapped both of his arms around me and pressed my back to his front and kept his chin on my shoulder. I placed my hands on top of his and smiled contentedly.
“Still looking for her?” He asked me.
I nodded slightly. He sighed.
“What was its significance Ragini? Why did you wait every night before?” He asked me.
“To get my mother.” I replied.
“Don’t you have a mother now?” He asked me again.
“I have two now. Shomi Maa and Maa. They both are my mothers.” I replied smilingly. “But still Lakshya. I don’t know why, I just can’t stop. I have no idea why. But I am unable to.” I added, baring my insecurity.
Lakshya turned me towards him and held my shoulders. “Listen to me very carefully Jaan. Answer this one question. Why did you wait for your mother? You had a family and a grandmother who was just like your own mother. Then why were you waiting for her? Do you know why? Happiness, Ragini. Just plain happiness. Even though you had a family, you weren’t really happy. You felt alone. Oppressed. I can tell you this because I have gone through the same thing. Why did I need Kavya when I already had friends and my cousins who I hung out with? Why did I need you or for that matter, Swara, when I had everyone? Because I wasn’t happy. I was content but I wasn’t happy. I was under the impression that I needed somebody to call my own who would make me the happiest of all. Do you agree with me?”
I thought over his words. They had some truth in them. I was not really happy because I was being forced to change. I had hoped that if I had a mother, I would share everything with her and she would support me. Support me like Shomi Maa does. Support me like Maa does. But if that is the case, then why do I come outside and wait even now? My question was answered by Lakshya.
“Because there was always an insecurity in you my love. That they aren’t your biological mothers. Although there is a heart connection, yet, we always feel that blood relations are more trustworthy. And the other reason is habit. You have been doing this for so long that it has become your habit. A sort of a ritual that you must do. And you know what Ragini? I have a simple solution for both.” He said confidently.
“I want to stop. I want to live my life Lakshya. I want to come out of that depressed shell which I have created.” I replied.
“You were insecure and unhappy before Ragini. Close your eyes. Who do you see?” He asked me.
I closed my eyes and images of Lakshya, Raghav, Lavanya, Swara, Papa, Dadima, Shomi Maa, Maa, Sanskaar, Sanskriti, Swaroop, Pranjal and all the other family members filled my mind. I opened my eyes and looked at Lakshya. “I see all my loved ones.” I whispered.
Lakshya smiled brightly. “Perfect! Now tell me, do you feel any insecurity regarding any one of the people you saw?” He asked.
“I don’t. I do not. All the people who I saw, have been a part of me for so long now, that I have no feelings of insecurity for them.” I replied.
And suddenly, it struck me. Why I wasn’t insecure anymore. Because I was happy. I had finally found a place where I belonged. I finally found someone who was mine and mine alone. I had someone to love and who loved me in return. I had two children who loved me too. I had Swara, the best sister in this world. I had Sanskaar, the most understanding and supporting friend. I had two families who backed me in my toughest times. I had Lakshya. I had everyone. Why would I be insecure then? I was happy. I AM happy. I grinned.
“And what is the solution to the habit part?” I asked Lakshya, convinced that what he would suggest would be as brilliant as the one he had just suggested.
Lakshya pulled me into his arms and slid his hand down to my butt. He leaned closer and whispered suggestively, “To keep you better occupied for the night!” He kissed me deeply and I responded with feverish passion, slididing my hand all over his frame. He picked me up, bridal style and went inside the room. He placed me on the bed and switched off the lights. He lowered himself on me and kissed me everywhere, igniting the fire in both of us.
Some hours later, as we laid in each other’s arms, spent with the activities of the past few hours, Lakshya asked me a question.
“By the way Ragini, who did you see FIRST when you closed your eyes?”
I raised my head from where it was placed on his chest to look at him. “Who do you think?” I asked him.
Lakshya smiled happily and was about to kiss me on my head when I replied, “The Conjuring 2 devil, of course!”
Lakshya looked at me in shock while I burst out laughing at his expression. He scowled deeply. “So less than ten years of our marriage and you already prefer a ghost to me? Or have I started looking like a ghost to you” he asked irritatedly.
I pecked him swiftly on his lips. “I am not really scared of you.” I replied.
Lakshya raised his eyebrow at me. “Really? You shouldn’t have said that!” He pinned me to the bed and came on the top. “Now let me try and scare you!” And then, he started tickling me ruthlessly.
After some minutes, he finally stopped. I wiped my tears and pulled him towards me. “You.” I whispered. “I saw YOU first.”
Lakshya pulled up his collars and then realised that he was shirtless. He looked at me sheepishly and we both started laughing. As he laughed, I saw him. Our moments together flashed in my mind. And then, I recalled that one promise I had made to myself which had started this all. The promise I had made to myself when I first saw his smiling face in the photo I had been given. The promise to never let his beautiful smile vanish. When he stopped laughing, he looked at me and gave me his best smile. I smiled back happily.
I had kept my promise.

BELAAAAA ❤️?❤️!! I can’t believe that this FF is actually completed. It’s sad but like everyone says, all good things have to come to an end. Anyways, what shall I say about the epilogue? IT WAS JUST PERFECT. RagLak having their own sweet family 8 years later was just so heartwarming. And to top that, RagLak were so happy and content with their lives and Laksh’s dream interior job was successful. It’s so lovely how after all the struggles RagLak faced in their relationship, they were able to overcome it all and get the happiness they truly deserve by loving each other, being with each other, trusting each other, respecting each other, supporting each other and being each other’s strength ❤️. Also, can I say that the kids are all such cuties ?. Starting with Raghav, his flirtatious nature is so adorable. The way he is a ladies man at age 5 is so funny. And AWW I love how he calls Ragini Jaan. And LOOL at his antics for example refusing to drink milk and saying Laksh peed in his pants ?. You honestly write humorous scenes perfectly. I’m always laughing and smiling whenever I read them so thank you for that ?. Next, coming to Lavanya. I love how she’s a daddy’s girl. It sounds so sweet. And I love it even more how she is confused like Laksh ?. Confused Laksh was the best so it’s nice his daughter got this cute characteristic of his. Oh and by the way, it’s so lovely how the children’s name’s are matching with Ragini and Laksh’s names ❤️. Anyways, what next? Oh yeah, all the family moments were nice to read. The sibling bonding you showed throughout your FF was really refreshing and adorable. I really like Swara and Sanskar’s characters in this FF. Alright, coming to RagLak again, they were simply fabulous. Ragini calling Laksh a heart stealer was SO CUTE. And the last scene of Laksh consoling Ragini was pure bliss. The way RagLak comfort each other and try their utmost best to remove their worries is so beautiful. They truly are the number one couple ❤️. And oh my god! Romantic RagLak was so divine. It’s sweet how Ragini saw Laksh first ?. And it’s even sweeter how she remembered that promise she made. Ragini truly did keep Laksh happy and the way she stood beside Laksh in his treatment was beautiful. Also, Laksh was such a sweet husband as well. All the small things he’d note about Ragini was so adorable. I just loved RagLak’s relationship so much in this FF. And their characters as individuals were amazing as well. You honestly gave full justice to Ragini and Laksh’s characters Bela ??????. Alright, lastly I just wanted to say A BIG THANK YOU to you Bela. I had such a fun and nice time reading your FF. I honestly loved it so much. I have read so many FF’s be it on RagLak or other couples but your one has to be one of my favourites. The journey of RagLak was written beautifully and the alter ego twist was so cool. Also, I had a lovely time following you in your journey of ‘RagLak Tu Ki Jaane Pyaar Mera’. Each and every update of yours was lovely. Thank you so so so much once again. Sadly I can’t write ‘can’t wait to read the next update’ but it’s cool, I’ll read this FF again and again and refresh all the amazing RagLak memories I read in this FF. Thanks once again and I love you so much Bela ??❤️
