Next day it was her wedding day.. Ragini was standing in her full bridal attire (same look she had on her first wedding in the serial) She was looking like the most beautiful bride ever.. But with tears in eyes..there was a kind of sorrow on her face that could seen clearly.. All her eyes were saying was 'I hate you laksh' and then anpurna came into her room…
Ap: Aaiye..aa jaaiye..
An old lady came inside following her.. And a young lady also entered..Ragini immediately wiped her tears and turned back..anpurna looked at her and smiled..
Ap: Jiji.. Ye hai meri hone wali bahu ragini.. Aur ragini.. Ye humari badi behen hain.. Tumhari maasi saas.. Aur ye inki bahu.. Parineeta…
Ragini bowed down and touched their feet.. And maasi & pari smiled..
Maasi: Hmmm chhoti….bahu to badi sundar hai thaari.. Jarur maahre laksh ki pasand hogi je? Hai ki nahi?
Ap: (smiled) Ji.. Ussi ki pasand hai..
Ragini was not even smiling.. Maasi noticed that..
Maasi: (suspicious) ke baat hai beendni..?? Khush na najar aa rahi tu maahre ko…
Ragini: (nervous) j….ji nahi.. Aisi koi baat nahi hai..
Ap: Jiji wo.. Shaadi ka mauka hai isliye shayad apne parivaar ko yaad.. Par koi baat ragini.. Hum sab hain naa tumhare sath..?
Ragini faked a smile and nodded in yes.. Maasi was trying ti read her face and then she came forward to ragini..
Maasi: dekh beendni.. Laksh maahra laadla hai.. Uske chehre pe hamesa khusi dekhna chaahu hu main..samjhi maahri baat?
Ragini looked up in her eyes with her own teary nervous eyes.. She then lowered down her eyes and nodded in yes..and then.. swara enters..
Swara: badi maa..maasi Ji..bhabhi.. Baahar sab aapka intezaar kar rahe hain..chaliye..
Ap: chaliye jiji.. Aao parineeta..
Then the ladies went out of her room and ragini was there only.. Her tears rolled down.. But then she wiped them and took a sigh closing her eyes to be strong..
On the otherside laksh was really happy.. He was wearing blue sherwani with maroon slacks under it.. (Same he wore on his wedding with Chudail kavya -_- ) He took blessings of everyone.. Aditya was also there.. He was wearing a black sherwani with white pathani salwaar under it..He was really sad but faking a smile with tears in his red and a bit swollen eyes.. Swara was unhappy for this wedding and that could be seen on her face.. Anpurna was busy with the ladies.. Just then..
Pandit:Durga prasad ji.. shaadi ka muhurat ho gaya hai.. Var aur vadhu ko mandap me bulwaiye…
Ap: Swara..jaao jaake ragini ko le aao..
Swara nodded in yes..and went towards her room.. And laksh came forward to the mandap..
Swara knocked at the door.. Ragini who was sitting infront of the mirror was crying looking at a picture of hers with sanskaar.. Ragini immediately put that in the drawer while swara saw that and came in..
Swara: (angrily) Ab ye sab naatak karke kya dikhana chahti ho ragini? Jo tum chahti thi wo to ho raha hai na? Laksh bhai se shaadi ho rahi hai tumhari..
Ragini: (crying) tum hume galat samajh rahi ho swara…
Swara: haan ragini.. Galat hi to samajh rahi thi main tumhe.. Mujhe laga tha ki tum apne bhai..mere sanskaar ke liye yaha aayi ho..par nahi.. Tum sirf apne matlab ke liye aayi thi…
Ragini: nahi swara.. abhi tum kuch dekh nahi paa rahi ho.. Par jab tumhe sach dikhega to tab tum samajh paaogi hume..
Swara: (confused) kis sach ki baat kar rhi ho tum?
Ragini was about to say something just then parineeta came there…
Parineeta: arey tum dono to gappe ladaane lagi.. Chalo baahar tumhare dulhe raja intezaar kar rahe hain tumhara…
Then parineeta and swara took her out.. Laksh was sitting on his place in mandap.. Just then he saw ragini coming towards the mandap in a complete bridal look.. His eyes were stuck on her.. He was just dying over her beauty and smiled thinking that she is his' only.. Ragini was completely expressionless.. she looked up at laksh expressionless.. Laksh smirked.. She came into the mandap and sat on her place on the right hand side of laksh..
Dp: Pandit ji.. shaadi shuru kijiye…
And pandit started saying the wedding mantras.. Laksh was happy but ragini was still expressionless..only her eyes were filled with tears.. The wedding mantras were going on.. Anpurna was really happy… Sujata wasn't that happy but she was faking a smile.. Swara was unhappy..she was upset and confused too… And aditya? He was just heartbroken..the girl he loved was getting married to his own brother.. His eyes were filled with tears..he wasn't looking at her at all.. He took a sigh and silently walked out of the MM when everybody's attention was towards Ragini and Laksh..
Pandit: Vadhu ke maata pita kanyadaan ke liye aa jaaye..
Ragini looked up at pandit..and tears rolled down on her cheek..laksh looked at her.. Then he looked at pandit..
Laksh: pandit ji..wo actually.. Ragini ka humare siva iss duniya me koi nahi hai…
Ragini looked at laksh.. He also looked at her.. Ragini's eyes got filled with hatred hearing this.. Then she removed her teary eyes and looked down..
Pandit: par kanyadaan ke liye..kisi na kisi ko to aana hi hoga..
Pareenita: (looking at maasi) maa agar hum ragini ka kanyadaan kar de to? Ragini humari chhoti behen jaisi hi to hai…
Maasi: Haan kyu nahi.. Jaa aadarsh ko bhi le jaa.. Arey je kanyadaan to sabse bada daan hobe hai..
Sujata: Haan..je bilkul sach kaha aapne jijji…
Then parineeta and her husband aadarsh came forward for the custom of Kanyadaan..and they did it..
Laksh: (smiled at parineeta) thank you so much bhabhi..
Parineeta: (smiled) uski kya zarurat hai devar ji.. ? Ragini to humari behen hai.. (Smiled at ragini)
But ragini was still blank.. Only her teary eyes were saying that she didn't want to get married.. Especially to that Laksh.. She was looking at the fire of the mandap and was realising that her own life was also turning into ashes like that .. And then.. Laksh's phone rang… He took his phone out and looked at it.. He was about to get up to take the call but just then..
Pandit: Ek minute.. Aap iss trah se beech shaadi me mandap se uth kar nahi jaa sakte..
Laksh: Pandit ji..bohot important call hai..main bass do minute me aa jaunga..
Pandit: aapko jo bhi baat karni hai yahi baith kar kar lijiye…
Ap: haan laksh..yahi baat kar lo..kya hua..??
Laksh faked a smile at her and took the phone call…
Laksh: hello….
Haan ok..
Wo file bhejne ke baad mujhe message karna..
Ok..
And haan..
Wo file ke transfer ho jaane tak ki har moment ki khabar msgs ke through dete rehna mujhe..
Alright..
Then he cut the phone call..ragini was confused… But then she got suspicious that if he was talking about sanskaar.. Then laksh looked at pandit ji..
Laksh: Pandit ji ..continue kariye.
Pandit: Haan to ab var aur vadhu phero ke liye khade ho jaaiye..
Laksh got up..and looked at ragini and then ragini also got up… Just then laksh got a message on his phone.. He checked the message..it was ' sir..humne usey chhod diya hai' Laksh didn't give any expressions and put his phone back..but..he didn't knew that ragini has read that msg on his phone..and was now sure that he was talking about sanskaar.. Then suddenly ragini started coughing.. Initially slow..then a bit more.. Laksh looked at her.. He got tensed..
Laksh: Ragini..? Tum theek to ho?
Ap: Ragini beta kya hua?
Ragini: wo..wo hume..hume chakkar aa rahe hain..
Laksh: Koi baat nahi.. (He looked at pandit) pandit ji.. Aap jaldi kariye..ragini ki tabiyat theek nahi hai..
Pandit: dekhiye..phere jaldbaazi me nahi hote.. Aap dulhan ko kuch der ke liye andar le jaiye..paani pilakar jab thoda behtar mehsoos karne lage tab le aaiye…
Laksh: par pandit ji…
Dp: laksh..hume lagta hai ki pandit ji bilkul theek keh rahe hain.. (Looking at anpurna) Anpurna.. Ragini ko uske kamre me le jaao..
Ap: Ji..
Laksh got angry and suspecious as well..he wanted to marry her as soon as possible but she was not ready.. Anpurna took ragini in her room..she made ragini sit on the bed..ragini was still dizzy and restless..
Ap: ragini beta tum betho..hum paani laate hain..
Ragini: Nahi maa.. Hum bass.. Bass kuch der aise hi araam karna chahte hain..
Ap: Theek hai.. Tum araam karo.. Itne hum baahar mehmaano ko dekhte hain..
Then she went out of there.. And ragini got alert..she thought in her mind.. She wiped her sweaty face and neck..
Ragini: (thinking) wo…sanskaar bhai ko chhod chuke hain.. Ab bass hume yaha se nikalna hoga.. (Determined) unse shaadi karne se to behtar marr jaana hoga..
Then after 15 minutes…
Pandit: Durga prasad ji..dulhan ko bulwaiye..muhurat ka samay nikla jaa raha hai..
Dp: swara..jaao jaake ragini ko le aao..
Swara: ji bade papa..
She was about to move…
Laksh: ruk swara… (Grinded his teeth) Main leke aata hu ragini ko..
Then he went straight towards ragini's room.. He was angry as hell.. He took out his sehra (groom's turban) while walking and set his hair back with a hand.. The he opened ragini's room..
Laksh: (angrily..looking around) ragini…? …… Ragini…?
But ragini wasn't there.. He came forward to the washroom..
Laksh: Ragini.. (grinded) bohot ho gaya tumhara ye naatak.. Ab baahar aa jao chup chaap..
No response from there too.. Then laksh opened the washroom to check in…but she was not there too.. Laksh got shocked and more angry..
Laksh: how dare she? (Shouted) how dare she..?? Nahi..wo mujhe aise chhod ke nahi jaa sakti.. You can't do this to me ragini..
Then he went out of the room.. Just then ragini came out from a cupboard.. She was still in her bridal attire..She was tensed and scared..she wiped her face and took a sigh.. Then she took a chance and peeped slowly out of her room.. There was no one around.. Then she slowly stepped out.. And ran towards the back door of MM.. The moment she walked out to go from the back door.. She heard a voice.. "Shaadi beechme chhod kar kaha jaa rahi ho ragini? " ragini stopped and got stunned..her eyes got bigger…she turned back and saw laksh standing just behind her.. He smirked looking at her..
Laksh: (coming towards her.. and ragini was backing off) kya socha tha tumne.? Mujhe itni asaani se bevakoof banake tum nikal jaaogi? (Ragini got pinned to a wall and laksh came closest to her..and said angrily) tumhare bhai ke peeche abhi bhi mere log hain ragini.. Yakeen nahi aata.. To suno..
Laksh called a number.. And a man recieved it..
Man: Haan sir.. Wo sanskaar abhi apne ghar ki taraf hi jaa raha hai..
Laksh: Accha..to ab ek kaam karo.. Uss sanskaar ko apne gun point par lo zara.. Aur jab main missed call du to shoot kar dena..
Ragini: (got tensed and scared..she cried) ye..ye ye kya keh rahe hain aap..?
Laksh: (ended the call) tumne soch bhi kaisa liya ragini ki tum mujhe dhokha de sakti ho..haan?
Ragini: (joining her hands and crying) I'm sorry..hume..hume maaf kar dijiye.. Hum aisi galti dobara nahi karenge.. Humara vishwaas kijiye..
Laksh was still looking at her angrily..
Laksh: aisi galti dobara to tab karogi..jab main tumhe aisa karne ka mauka dunga..
Then he held her hand and dragged her straight to the mandap.. She immediately wiped her tears..
Laksh: pandit ji.. Aap phero ki rasam shuru kijiye..
Then pandit started doing the ritual.. Everybody was happy seeing them together holding hands.. Then laksh took the first vow (phera) holding her hand in his own.. And she was also following him..as couldn't do anything else.. Then they took 4 more vows like that..
Pandit: ab vadhu var se aage aayegi..
Laksh looked at ragini..and ragini also looked at him with her teary eyes..then she stepped forward and came before laksh.. And they took the resting three vows like that..
Pandit: ab aap dono apni jagaho par baith jaiye.. Ab var vadhu ki maang me sindoor bharega..
Laksh took the small box of sindoor and took a pinch of it.. Anpurna came forward smiling and lifted ragini's maang teeka up.. Laksh filled her maang with sindoor..ragini closed her eyes and tear rolled down on her cheek.. But laksh didn't react being insensitive..
Pandit: (looking at laksh) ab aap inhe ye magal-sutra pehna dijiye..
Anpurna handed over the magal sutra to laksh and he came closer to ragini to tie that magal sutra around her neck.. Ragini looked at him with hatred and helplessness together in her teary eyes… Laksh also looked at her smirking..while tying that mangal sutra.. Then it was done.. After a few minutes..
Pandit ji: Vivaah sampann hua.. Ab aap dono apne bado ka ashirwaad le lijiye ki aapki aane wali zindgi khush-haal ho..
Laksh and ragini got up.. Then Laksh looked at Ragini..she also looked at him.. Then he looked at her hand and held it..ragini looked at hrr hand in his hand and her eyes got filled with tears.. They both looked at eachother again..and he smiled as his eyes were assuring her that.. 'Ab Tum Meri Ho' she removed her teary eyes and they both took the blessings of each and every elderly person..
