So, here we go,
He is the Managing Director of Maheshwari Group of Industries, the youngest, rich, successful business tycoon. He is handsome and stylish with his cool look, for which girls go crazy over him. He is the most eligible bachelor in the town!! And here he is, least interested in girls…. He just loves two things in his life! First, his family and second, his company!! But there’s something which he loves more than anything in this world, and that is his brother, for whom he is ready to sacrifice his everything!! He is a workaholic, and is always into work!!
She belongs to a middle class family, who cares for her family, more than anything else in the world. She is crazy, yet beautiful and smart!! In short, a beauty with brains. She works for Him, in his company. She is reserved, and never socializes. She works for him, for like almost a year, yet they have hardly spoken anything but work… She never tried to know about him, nor did he try to know about her…but for her, it is a pleasure working under him, for he was never rude, neither with her, nor with any of the other employees. She knew her boss was a down to earth man, in spite of having everything, and she admired it. Her relation with her boss has always been formal.
One day,
A young man in mid twenties came there; his lips curved into a smile, seeing the board in front of him with the letters, ‘Maheshwari Industries’. He went straight into the office, and to the cabin, where he knew his life exists, where he knew there was someone waiting to meet him, and he was sure, this would be a great surprise!!
He pushed the door of the cabin, and entered, only to find him talking on the phone, while staring out of the window, having absolutely no idea of his arrival….
“Bhai!!” He shouted, spreading his arms wide open.
The person turned back, and there was a mixture of emotions seen in his eyes- love, happiness, surprise…“Sanky??” He called out slowly, and engulfed him in a hug.
“Sanskaar? How are you? And when did you come from London? Why didn’t you tell me that you are coming?” he broke the hug and started firing him with questions.
Sanskaar held his brother’s shoulders “Bhai, chill!! Relax! I just came back from London, in fact I came here directly from the airport, and I didn’t inform you coz I wanted to surprise you!!”
“You know, how much I missed my little brother? Its been two years, Sanky.” He said, caressing his face.
“I know Bhai!! I too missed you so much, that is why I came here directly from the airport.” Sanskaar replied.
Both the brothers went and sat talking, as they had a lot to catch-up. Just then there was a knock on the door of the cabin, and a girl entered. “Sir, aapne mujhe bulaya?” She asked. Laksh was sitting with his back facing her.
“Haan…Ms.Gadodia! I wanted to ask you if the presentation for tomorrow’s meeting is ready.” Her boss asked.
Sanskaar found the name familiar and turned to see, and he was hell shocked to find his best friend in front of him.
”Raagu?” Sanskaar whispered.
“Sanskaar! You here? What….” Sanskaar engulfed her in a hug before she could say or ask something.
“Sanskaar!! What are you doing here?” She asked.
“Raagu!! That’s my question.. What are you doing here?” Sanskaar asked, surprised.
“I work here Sanskaar.” She replied.
“What? You work here? In Bhai’s office?” Sanskaar asked, still unable to believe that his best friend is in front of him.
“Bhai?” She looked up at Sanskaar, confused.
“Haan Raagu!! You remember, I used to tell you about my Bhai, I always said that he is the best brother one could ever get, who loves me more than anyone or anything in the world.” She nodded.
Sanskaar went to his brother and placed his arm around his brother’s shoulder, ”He is the one!! The one and only Laksh Maheshwari! You know Raagu, he is everything to me, my brother, my dad, my guide, my friend, and my life!!“
Sanskaar turned to Laksh, “Bhai, you never told me Raagu works here!!”
Laksh looked at him confused. Sanskaar sensed his confusion, “Bhai, I used to tell you about Raagu, my best friend, when I was studying in Delhi.”
Laksh nodded. Sanskaar went to her giving her a side hug. “She is the one! Ragini Gadodia, my pyaari Raagu. My all time best friend!” Ragini gave a slight smile looking from Sanskaar to Laksh and back to Sanskaar.
Laksh looked at Ragini amused, “Ohh…so you are that Raagu? Sanky’s best friend who used to complete all his assignments and you are the one, because of whom this idiot passed all the exams!!!”
Sanskaar glared at Laksh, while he ignored his looks. Ragini nodded, looking at Sanskaar from the corner of her eye, “Um..yes sir.”
“ Bhaad mein gaya sir!! Sanky ka dosth, matlab mera bhi dosth.” Laksh forwarded his hand.
“But sir…” She hesitated.
“I told you…sir ko jane do bhaad mein, okay? Call me Laksh!! And don’t hesitate. I’m not gonna eat you up!!” Laksh mocked.
“Okay sir…I mean…Laksh” She replied giving her hand in his.
“But Raagu!! Where were you? Where did you go after our college? I tried finding you!” Sanskaar asked, frowning.
“Actually Sanskaar, Dida was not well, so we had shifted back here to Kolkata! And I even lost all the contacts.” Ragini answered.
“Its okay, Raagu!! We’ll be together now!!” Sanskaar said. Laksh admired their bonding.
“Ragini!! Now you have to tell me about this idiot!! What all he used to do in college? His girlfriends, how many girls he flirted with, and so many other things…we’ve to talk a lot, chalo!” Laksh grabbed her by her hand, looking at Sanskaar and smirking.
“Bhai!! This is not fair! You can’t do this! She is my bestie, and you are taking her on your side!! ” Sanskaar complained. Ragini found the fight between the brothers very cute.
Laksh ignored his whines, and dragged Ragini to the couch, and both sat together talking, while Sanskaar glared at them. Ragini enjoyed their fights; she could see their love for each other, behind their fights…
Sanskaar went to Ragini, “Chalo Raagu!! We’ll go out, have a coffee and a good talk.” He looked at Laksh from the corner of his eye.
“Ragini, you can’t go anywhere. I’m your boss and its my order.” Laksh ordered, glaring at Sanskaar.
“Raagu! You are coming with me.” Sanskaar said. “Ragini, you are staying here with me.” Laksh ordered.
Ragini looked at both the brothers with puppy dog eyes, “I don’t want to come with you Sanky.” Laksh grinned and gave a victory smile. “And I’m not staying here as well, Laksh.” Ragini said, looking angrily at the two brothers.
“I’ve lot of work to do, and I’m going. Bye.” Ragini got up to leave, when Sanskaar spoke, holding her by her hand, “arey Raagu, don’t get angry. All three of us will go out. What say, bhai?” He turned to Laksh for his answer.
“Haan, okay. Ragini, abhi to aa jao.” Laksh requested her, and Ragini agreed to them.
All three of them went to have a coffee, and soon Laksh and Ragini too bonded and became friends.
Soon, all the three started spending their time together. Sanskaar, too has joined his brother’s office, and the three of them started sharing a special bond.
Ragini was surprised to see a completely different shade of Laksh, especially when he is with Sanskaar. He was different from what she knew of him. He was not her boss anymore, instead he was her best friend, just as Sanskaar is. She enjoyed their fights and admired their bond.
Laksh too admired Ragini and Sanskaar’s friendship. He loved his brother very much, but then Ragini who was always his employee, had turned out to be the best of his friends.
One day,
Laksh was in his cabin, thinking deeply about something, when Sanskaar and Ragini entered his cabin and saw him lost in thoughts. He hadn’t even noticed their presence.
“Laksh?” Ragini called out. But she didn’t get any response from him, which confused them even more, as they knew Laksh was not the kind of person, to think about something else at work.
“Bhai?” Sanskaar almost shouted, bringing him back to his senses.
“Sanskaar! Why the hell are you shouting?” Laksh asked, irritated.
“Bhai! Where are you lost?” Sanskaar asked confused.
“Haan Laksh, I’ve been calling you since long, and you didn’t even respond. What are you thinking about?” Ragini asked.
Laksh handed them a folded piece of colour paper. It was more like a letter. “What is this?” Ragini asked frowning, taking the letter in her hands.
“Bhai! Love letter and all, huh? Who is that lucky girl, bhai, with whom you are in love?” Sanskaar teased Laksh.
“Sanky!! Stop using your stupid brain. I know, tere bheje mein kuch nahi hain. You don’t need to prove it again and again.” Laksh said, patting Sanskaar’s cheek.
Sanskaar glared at Laksh, while Ragini asked curiously, “What is this note, Laksh?”
“Open it and see for yourself.” Laksh said, while Ragini opened and read the content. She didn’t know how to react, and finally ended up laughing loudly.
“Cute and Handsome? Seriously Laksh?” Ragini said in between her laughs. Sanskaar, who was even more curious now, snatched the letter from her hands , and read it.
“Secret Admirer, Bhai? Who is that?” Sanskaar asked laughing.
Laksh pulled on his best puppy dog face, while the duo couldn’t stop laughing. “actually what happened is…..”
***Flashback***
The previous day,
Evening, after office hours,
Laksh was leaving for home, when he found a note, along with a red rose, kept on the windshield, attached to the windshield wiper. He opened it to see what it was.
It read
“HELLO MR. HANDSOME!” Laksh looked around in confusion, and then back at the note. “DON’T LOOK AROUND. I’M TALKING ABOUT YOU.” ‘Me?’thought Laksh, pointing a finger towards himself. “HAAN HAAN, MR. LAKSH MAHESHWARI, THIS NOTE IS FOR YOU ONLY. JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU, THAT YOU ARE VERY CUTE AND HANDSOME!! – YOUR SECRET ADMIRER.”
Laksh looked up in confusion. ‘Secret admirer, huh?’ wondered Laksh, amused at the thought. He looked around, but couldn’t find anyone.
***Flashback ends***
Ragini and Laksh were still laughing, and Sanskaar made his best puppy dog face, telling about the incident.
“Waise…your secret admirer is right, you look really cute, right now.” Ragini said, pulling his cheeks.
“Stop it Ragini. Stop teasing me!” Laksh said pouting.
“C’mon Bhai, we hardly get a chance like this.” Sankaar teased.
“Sanskaar! You don’t have any idea of Laksh’s following in the office. All the girls in the Office are mad for him.” Ragini said, looking at Laksh.
“Bhai?” Sanskaar raised his eyebrows, with a question mark expression on his face, while Laksh made an innocent face.
“I don’t understand one thing! That your brother actually doesn’t know about his following in the office, or he pretends like he doesn’t know!!” Ragini said to Sanskaar, looking at Laksh suspiciously.
“Bhai acts so innocent. I’m sure, he knows it!” Sanskaar said.
“Arey, shut up both of you! Stop pulling my leg, and help me in finding the girl.” Laksh tried diverting the topic from him.
“Haan, okay!! So what shoud we do?” Sanskaar asked trying to be serious, but ended up laughing. Ragini too joined him.
“It’s my fault to tell u both, about this letter.” Laksh cursed himself for doing so. “I’ll find it out myself. I don’t need your help!” Laksh said irritated.
“Arey arey, bhai, don’t get angry, we’ll think of something.” Sanskaar said.

Same day evng,
Laksh found another note in the same place. He was surprised seeing it, he took the note and read it…
“HELLO MR. MAHESHWARI, IT’S ME AGAIN! DON’T BE SURPRISED, YOU’LL BE GETTING THESE NOTES EVERYDAY FROM NOW. SO, TODAY’S MESSAGE FOR YOU:
YAADEIN MITHAI KI DIBBE KI TARAH HOTI HAIN…EK BAAR KHOLA TOH EK HI TUKDA NAHI KHA PAOGE!!
I KNOW IT’S FILMY!! BUT KYA KAREIN? AAP KO YAAD DILANA JO THA. SOMEDAY, ALL THESE THINGS MIGHT JUST BECOME MEMORIES. SO JUST MAKE EVERY MOMENT OF YOUR LIFE SPECIAL!
OKAY, NOW ENOUGH OF TODAY’S LECTURE! I’LL END IT HERE. KAL MILTE HAIN!! -YOUR SECRET ADMIRER.”
‘Strange girl’ thought Laksh, folding the letter. He smiled, thinking about the words, and kept the letter in his pocket.
Next day, Laksh showed it to Sanskaar and Ragini, who looked at each other, amused.
“Bhai, do one thing! Take these letters, and keep them safe, somewhere in the bank locker.” Sanskaar winked at Ragini, while Ragini laughed.
Laksh gave a tough glare to Sanskaar. “Kya bhai? Don’t look at me like that! It’s your secret admirer’s advice, after all. And someday, you need to show your children, all these letters, and tell them that you too have a secret admirer.” Sanskaar teased.
Ragini laughed holding her stomach, until her cheeks were hurting, while Laksh glared at Sanskaar. “I don’t know why I’m telling you all this, but you two are seriously good for nothing.” Sanskaar snapped.
“Laksh, Sanskaar ko chodo!” Ragini said, “But you know what? She is right. Every moment counts, and you need to make them special.”
“Jai ho Ragini maata ji ki!” Sanskaar said mocking.
“Shut up Sanskaar!” Ragini warned.

In the evening, Laksh left the office a little early in the hope of finding his secret admirer, but to his surprise, there was a note already kept. He opened to read it.
“KEHTE HAIN DUNIYA MEIN SABSE KHAAS RISHTA DOSTHI KA HOTA HAIN! IT’S APTLY SAID THAT IF FRIENDSHIP IS YOUR WEAKEST POINT, THEN YOU ARE THE STRONGEST PERSON IN THE WORLD.
YOU DON’T HAVE ANY BLOOD RELATION WITH YOUR FRIENDS, BUT YOU DO HAVE A RELATION BY HEART. NEAR OR FAR, RICH OR POOR, FRIENDS ARE FRIENDS!
SO MR. MAHESHWARI, I WAS THINKING, IF WE COULD BE FRIENDS? YOU MUST BE THINKING I’M MAD RIGHT? MAY BE I AM! FOR YOU!!
ENOUGH OF MY BAKWAAS TODAY, BYE BYE LAKSH!! -YOUR SECRET ADMIRER.”
Laksh was confused, impressed, and astonished, with her letter. ‘This girl is really mad!’ thought Laksh.
***
Next day, Sanskaar came storming into Laksh’s cabin, closely followed by Ragini. “Bhai?” Sanskaar forwarded his hand, towards Laksh.
“What?” asked Laksh.
“The letter!” Sanskaar said excited.
“Which letter?” asked Laksh.
“Don’t act so innocent Laksh. You know what we are talking about.” Ragini said.
Laksh tried to act like he is clueless, but Ragini and Sanskaar, are not going to let Laksh escape, and finally Laksh handed them the letter. Sanskaar and Ragini read it.
“Wow Bhai! She is mad for you!” Sanskaar exclaimed, raising his eyebrows.
“Sanskaar!! Don’t tease him. Bechara, she just want to be friends with him. She must be really mad for him.” Ragini said,her voice filled with humor.
“Ragini! You too?” Laksh asked, pouting.
“Arey! How can I leave this golden opportunity of teasing my friend, and most importantly, my boss?” Ragini grinned.
Before Laksh could say something, Sanskaar went towards the couch and sat there depressed.
“Now what’s your problem?”Laksh asked, confused. Sanskaar doesn’t answer, instead keeps looking down, at the floor, with his face rested on his palm, and his mood off.
“Sanskaar! What happened to you all of a sudden?” Ragini asked sitting beside him.
“Dekho na Raagu! Bhai has a secret admirer, she wants to be his friend, she admires him, she is mad for him. Bhai never talks with any girl, but still, they run behind him. And, look at me, I talk to them, but I don’t have any secret admirers like bhai has. Kaash, mera bhi koi secret admirer hota!” Sanskaar said sadly.
Ragini rolled her eyes, and hit his head playfully. Laksh gave him a you-are-unbelievable look. “Sanskaar! Dramebazz! Nautanki bandh kar apna. You’ll also get one someday.” Ragini said.
“When? When I grow old, and have kids?” Sanskaar groaned.
“Tum kaho, toh mein tumhara secret admirer ban jaun?” Ragini asked sarcastically.
“Secret admirer and you? Oh please, haan!!” Sanskaar said disgusted, with her idea.
Ragini glared at him, while Sanskaar continued, “Look at this” he showed the note, “you need to write such awesome quotes and sweet sweet words for that, which is not your cup of tea. So, drop this idea, okay?”
Ragini shoots daggers at him, and warned him with her eyes, “Sanskaar! I hate you!!!”
“Shut up both of you! Sanskaar! Why the hell are we discussing, about your imaginary secret admirer now?” Laksh snapped at both of them.
Sanskaar and Ragini looked at each other, and Sanskaar spoke up, “Haan haan bhai, I know, we are here to discuss about your real secret admirer! So, now tell me, what do you want to say?”
Ragini started laughing, while Laksh glared at Sanskaar. “Ignore him, Laksh!” Ragini said looking at Sanskaar.
“I’m very curious, now, to know about her! I mean like…I want to know who she is, she seems sweet, and I want to find her.” Laksh said determined, and excited.
“Don’t worry, we’ll find her.” Ragini said assuring Laksh, who was thinking of all the possible ways of finding his secret admirer.

In the evening, as usual, Laksh found another letter, with a rose.
“GOOD EVENING LAKSH! TODAY FOR A CHANGE, I’M NOT GONNA GIVE YOU ANY LECTURE, BUT I WANTED TO TELL YOU ABOUT SOMETHING, I REALLY ADMIRE IN YOU. CONFUSED? OKAY, DON,T BE!!
IT’S ACTUALLY THE BOND WITH YOUR BROTHER. I CAN SEE HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR BROTHER. AND I REALLY REALLY ADMIRE THE BONDING BETWEEN YOU MAHESHWARI BROTHERS. I KNOW THAT YOUR BROTHER MEANS EVERYTHING TO YOU, MORE THAN ANYTHING AND ANYONE. YOUR LIFE EXSISTS IN HIS HAPPINESS. AND THAT LOVE IS WHAT I ADMIRE. IN FACT, THE REAL LAKSH MAHESHWARI CAN BE SEEN ONLY WITH HIS BROTHER! – YOUR SECRET ADMIRER.
P.S.- DON’T BE SO EAGER TO KNOW ABOUT ME! STOP TRYING TO FIND ME, YOU’LL NEVER BE ABLE TO! AND I’LL SURELY COME IN FRONT OF YOU AT THE RIGHT TIME.”
Laksh frowned, reading the last two lines. He was happy that she loved his bond with his brother, and he was surprised that she knew his love for his brother. But the line ‘you’ll never be able to’ hurt his ego.’ And he wanted to find out about her at any cost.

Next morning, just as Sanskaar read the letter, he immediately hugged Laksh, with lots of love. This was not something which Sanskaar didn’t know. He knew, how much Laksh loves him. But this letter just showed his love once again. Sanskaar often wondered, why his brother loved him so much, little does he know, that there need not be any reason to love someone. There were lots of silent emotions getting exchanged between the brothers. Ragini also smiled seeing the brothers. She was falling short of words to describe their bond, what she was seeing right now, here in Laksh’s cabin.
“Thank you, bhai!!” Sanskaar said softly. “For what?” Asked Laksh.
“You know very well! You always were the one who supported me, in everything; you always believed in me, even when everyone thought me to be useless. And above all, for the love you showered on me. Who does all this for an orphan?” Sanskaar said, with unshed tears in his eyes.
“Orphan?” Ragini asked confused.
“Yes Ragini, I’m actually an orphan. Maa and papa adopted me when I was 8, after I lost my parents in an accident, and bhai loved me, just like his own brother, he pampered me and guided me. How can I ever repay him?” Sanskaar said, looking at Laksh, while Ragini was taken aback.
The next thing what happened was something what Sanskaar had not expected but Ragini has expected. Laksh slapped Sanskaar, “Don’t you dare say that again!! First thing, you! Are not an orphan, you are Sanskaar Maheshwari, the son of Maheshwaris, and Laksh maheshwari’s younger brother, got it? And second, you want to repay your brother’s love? I think you don’t consider me as your family. You still think of me as an outsider.” Laksh spat out at Sanskaar.
“Bhai? Please, don’t say that! You are the only family I have. I’m sorry. I’ll not repeat it again.” Sanskaar hugged Laksh, and Laksh patted Sanskaar’s back.
Ragini was impressed with Laksh. She always thought them to be own brothers by seeing their bond. She was smiling, admiring their love.
“Why are you smiling, Raagu?” Sanskaar asked, breaking the hug.
“Nothing. I’m just watching you two and your bond. I must thank your secret admirer Laksh, otherwise, I’d have never seen you both like this!! Tum dono bhai ko kisi ki nazar na lage!!” Ragini said.
Sanskaar and Laksh looked at each other and smiled. “Haan!! All thanks to her, because of whom, you saw us crying too!!” Laksh said, while Ragini chuckled.

Days passed, and Laksh got letters almost everyday, on the name of his secret admirer. The content of the letters was mostly about why and what she admired in him, or about giving him advices, may be related to life, or related to work. Laksh too started waiting for her letters. He didn’t bother to find out about her, though he wanted to know about her. In the evenings, he just rushed from the office, just to get her letters. He kind of considered her as his friend, and well-wisher.
One day,
Laksh was sitting in his cabin, thinking about the letter he got, the previous day. He didn,t know whether to be happy, seeing her concern, or to be sad, for getting scolded by her. Sanskaar and Ragini, asked him what the matter was, and why he was upset, to which Laksh just showed them the letter.
“MR. LAKSH MAHESHWARI! HOW CAN YOU BE SO CARELESS? WHY DO YOU ACT SO STUPID AT TIMES? YOU ARE NOT WELL, YOU HAVE HIGH FEVER, AND YOU STILL WANT TO WORK. ARE YOU MAD?
I KNOW YOU MUST BE WONDERING, HOW I GOT TO KNOW ABOUT THIS. TRUST ME, I HAVE MY SOURCES, AND, THAT’S NOT THE MATTER AT PRESENT! IT’S ABOUT YOU!! CAN’T YOU REST FOR A DAY? I KNOW YOU LOVE YOUR WORK AND YOUR COMPANY SO MUCH, BUT THAT DOESN’T MEAN YOU ARE GOING TO NEGLECT YOUR HEALTH FOR THAT. TAKING REST FOR ONE DAY IS NOT GOING TO HARM YOU. THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE IN YOUR OFFICE WHO CAN VERY WELL LOOK AFTER YOUR WORK.
SO, NOW GO HOME AND TAKE REST. AND IF I GET TO KNOW THAT YOU COME TOMORROW TO OFFICE, WITH FEVER, WITHOUT GETTING CURED, THEN TRUST ME, THE CONSEQUENCES ARE GOING TO BE BAD! -YOUR SECRET ADMIRER.
P.S.- GO HOME, AND TAKE THE MEDICINE, AND SLEEP. STOP WORKING AT HOME TOO! IT’S AN ORDER.”
Sanskaar and Ragini giggled seeing the letter. This letter was clearly a warning to Laksh.
“Oh my god, bhai!! Finally! Finally, there is someone who can control you, scold you, threaten you, and warn you. I just can’t believe this! No one even dares to talk to you, and this girl, whoever she is, is scolding you, THE LAKSH MAHESHWARI. Now I’m curious to meet her.” Sanskaar said excited.
“Laksh? You had fever yesterday, and you didn’t even tell us?” Ragini asked.
“Then how did she get to know, when we didn’t know?” Sanskaar asked.
“Sanskaar! Didn’t u see, she said she has her sources? So don’t worry about her.” Ragini said giggling, to which Laksh frowned.
“Bhai! Why did you come to office today? If she gets to know?” Sanskaar asked, raising his eyebrows.
“Laksh, are you fine now?” Ragini asked ignoring Sanskaar. Laksh nodded, “I’m perfectly fine!”
“Waise, Ragini, I’ve a meeting with the Kapoors at 3pm, and I’ll be leaving in half an hour. So, is the presentation for the meeting ready?” Laksh asked.
“yes Laksh! It’s ready, and I already forwarded it to you.” Ragini said handling him the file with the details.
“I’m so tensed with this project. And I need to get this somehow.” Laksh said anxiously.
“Laksh! Don’t worry! You’ll get it.” Ragini assured him.
“Bhai? If you leave early, then what about your secret admirer? What about today’s letter?” Sanskaar asked smirking. Laksh glared at Sanskaar, and Sanskaar immediately shut his mouth.
“Sanskaar! I need to talk to you, about the other project which you are handling. I need some information about that.” Laksh said to Sanskaar.
“Okay, then, I’ll leave. I’ve work.” Ragini said.
Ragini left and Sanskaar gave all the details which Laksh asked for. “Bhai! I’ll leave now. I need to meet my friend.” Sanskaar said getting up to leave.
Sanskaar left the office, and was going towards his car in the parking lot, when he noticed Ragini, there in the parking lot, near Laksh’s car.
‘Ragini? What is she doing here?’ thought Sanskaar. He was about to call out her name, but noticed that she was busy doing something. He silently tip toed towards her, to see what she was doing. He stood behind her, so that she won’t notice him. His eyes popped out of the sockets, seeing Ragini. He was shocked, surprised, and couldn’t believe what his eyes are seeing. She was the one!! The one who is writing letters to his brother, on the name of his Secret admirer. She was the one all throughout, yet acted like she was unaware of everything.
“So, you are Bhai’s Secret admirer!” Sanskaar said, slowly from behind. Ragini was startled, she turned back, and was shocked to see Sanskaar standing there with his hands folded across his chest. She couldn’t speak out a single word. She didn’t expect to get caught, especially by Sanskaar.
‘Why is Sanskaar here at this time? And what should I say now? How will he react? And most important, what if he says this to Laksh?’ Ragini’s mind was full of questions.
“Ragini, I’m asking you something.” He said a little seriously, when he didn’t get any reply from her.
“Uh…um..yes…actually…”Ragini started to say, when Sanskaar hugged her, “Oh my god!! I’m so happy.”
“So, you love Bhai?” Sanskaar asked. Ragini nodded.
“But Sanskaar, aren’t you angry with me?” Ragini asked. “Why would I be? In fact I’m the happiest. Bhai and you are perfect for each other. Trust me, I myself thought about this many times.” Sanskaar said, while Ragini was surprised.
‘Raagu, let’s go. And we’ll tell everything to Bhai.” Sanskaar said holding her hand.
“No Sanskaar. Not now. I don’t know how he will react, and what if he doesn’t love me back. I can’t lose his friendship too. I’ll tell him, when he himself will love me back. I want him to know me as me, and not as your friend.” Ragini said.
“But, Raagu…” Sanskaar started to speak, but Ragini cut him off, “Please Sanskaar! And promise me you won’t say anything to Laksh.”
Sanskaar stared at her, but finally agreed to her, looking at her pleading face. “waise, tum acting bahut achi kar leti ho!! In fact you should get an Oscar for this. I must say, Bhai is very lucky to get you.” Sanskaar said teasing her. Ragini blushed. Now this guy is not gonna leave a single chance of teasing her.
“Let’s go from here. Your bhai will be coming at any moment now. He has a meeting.” Ragini said trying to escape from Sanskaar. They left the place.
After some time Laksh was leaving, when he saw the letter again. He opened it with a huge smile, on his face.
“HELLO MR. MAHESHWARI! SURPRISED? OKAY, I KNOW YOU HAVE A MEETING NOW, AND I’M NOT GONNA TAKE MUCH OF YOUR TIME. I KNOW YOU ARE WORRIED FOR THE PROJECT, BUT DON’T WORRY, YOU’LL GET IT! LAKSH MAHESHWARI CAN NEVER LOSE!! NOW STOP WORRYING, AND LEAVE, ELSE YOU’LL BE LATE FOR THE MEETING. ALL THE BEST!!!! -YOUR SECRET ADMIRER.”
Laksh couldn’t help, but smile seeing the letter. He was confident now, that he would get the project. He got into his car, and left.
Sanskaar and Ragini were looking at Laksh all this time, hiding behind the pillar. As soon as Laksh left the place, Sanskaar started tesing Ragini.

Next morning, as usual all the three were discussing about the letter and Laksh’s secret admirer. Ragini started her acting again, and Sanskaar started giggling.
“Sanky? Why are you giggling like an idiot?” Laksh asked him. Ragini stamped Sanskaar’s foot under the table.
“Ouch!!” Sanskaar shouted. “What happened Sanskaar?” Ragini asked innocently.
“Nothing!” Sanskaar said, gritting his teeth
“Bhai! Let’s have our lunch first. We can talk about your secret admirer while eating. I’m really hungry.” Sanskaar said.
Ragini and Laksh rolled their eyes. “Bhukkad!!” Both of them said together.
The three of them went to the canteen, and Ragini and Laksh talked while Sanskaar was busy eating.
“Ragini, you know what? Actually, yesterday, I got a weird call, saying that my secret admirer is someone from our office, and someone very close to me, and before I could ask something else, he hung up.” Laksh said confused.
Ragini glared at Sanskaar, while Sanskaar tried to act innocent.
“Laksh! Obviously, it would be someone from our office only, coz who would know so many things about you.” Ragini tried reasoning. Laksh nodded in agreement.
“Bhai? Kya aap apne Secret admirer se pyaar karte hain?” Sanskaar asked smirking, looking at Ragini from the corner of his eyes, who practically dropped the spoon in her hands and choked on her food, and started coughing.
“Ragini? What happened?” Laksh gave her a glass of water, and patted her back soothingly, while Ragini glared at a smirking Sanskaar.
“Nothing!” Ragini said.
“So bhai?” Sanskaar asked. “Sanskaar!! Love and me? Have you gone mad? I don’t believe in all this love and all. There’s nothing called as love, and whoever that girl is, she is just a friend, nothing more.” Laksh stated as a matter of fact.
Ragini who heard this, was upset with his words. She was disappointed. She never thought that Laksh would actually say something like this. She decided she would do whatever it takes to change his opinion about love.
“Laksh, you can’t say that! You love your brother, your family, then how can you say that there is nothing called as love.” Ragini asked him.
“C’mon Ragini, that is different.” Laksh started to say, but was cut off by Ragini, “No Laksh, it’s the same. Can you imagine how it feels when someone makes you feel so special, with their little gestures? Do you know what it feels to love someone? Do you know how it feels to be loved by someone? And when I’m saying this, I mean someone other than your family.” Ragini asked.
Laksh and Sanskaar were just staring at her. “Laksh, do you know how it feels when that person cares for you? And can you imagine what it feels like when someone proposes you, by the side of a lake, on a full moon night, under the starry sky, the place decorated with shimmering lights, and fragrance of lovely flowers all round you? It’s amazing Laksh. It’s really amazing. It’s just the magic of love.” Ragini was saying with so much of intensity, imagining herself in her dreamland with her prince.
“Laksh, you’ll not understand it now. You will feel the magic of love, only when you are in love. You might think all this is nonsense, but believe me,there will be a day, when you will fall in love with someone, who will change your views about it.” Ragini said, looking at Laksh, who was staring back at her.
“Ragini! Looks like you are having so much experience in love?” Sanskaar asked teasing.
“I don’t need to have any experience, Sanskaar. I just believe in love, that’s all!!”

The same day evening, Laksh found a letter from his secret admirer, with a rose.

Next day, Laksh called Sanskaar and Ragini to his cabin.
“What happened, bhai?” Sanskaar asked, wondering what the matter would be.
“Nothing Sanky. Actually, yesterday someone was listening to our conversation in the canteen.” Laksh said.
“Why are you thinking so, Laksh?” Ragini asked. “Read this.” Laksh said handling them the letter. Ragini and Sanskaar read it, and Sanskaar gave a naughty smile to Ragini, while Ragini tried to act like she is innocent.
“What this has got to do, Laksh?” Ragini asked.
“Ragini, yesterday, we were talking about the same topic in canteen, and in the evening, I got the letter. Don’t you think it’s too much of a coincidence? Surely that girl was present in the canteen, and she heard our talks.” Laksh said thinking, while Ragini tried to control her laugh.
Sanskaar rolled his eyes, and looked at Ragini. ‘Ye Bhai bhi na! ek number ke bewkoof insaan hain. Can’t he understand such a simple thing.’ Sanskaar thought.
“So what Laksh? She must have been there. And see even she has the same thoughts like me, about love. So, we are not wrong.” Ragini said convincing him, and Laksh got thinking.
‘Waah!! Kya acting kar leti hain? And my dumb headed brother can’t even get it.’ Thought Sanskaar

Days passed, and Laksh was getting letters daily, and the content of the letters mostly was about love and life. In most of the letters, it was love quotes, stating about the magic of love. Ragini tried her best to convey Laksh about her love for him, through her letters. Laksh too started believing in love, but he never thought about his love, or if he is in love with his secret admirer. He developed a close bond with her, which is something more than friendship. Though they were one sided conversations for Laksh, he became close to her, with her letters.
Laksh tried his best to drop hints to his brother, without letting Ragini know, but Laksh never got them. And he never left one chance, to tease his best friend too.
It was Laksh’s birthday, and he was waiting for his special gift, from his secret admirer. He wanted to see if she knows about his birthday. And as he was sitting in his cabin thinking, a man came, and delivered him a packet, with a letter and a boquet of roses. He asked him, who sent these, but sadly, he didn’t get any answer from him. All that he knew was some girl ordered them online, and she personally asked them to deliver it to the M.D. of Maheshwari Industries. He opened the gifts one by one, there was a beautiful watch. Then, there was a sketch of Laksh, with Sanskaar. And the third was a box of chocolates. And the fourth was a set of shades.
Laksh finally opened the letter.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAKSH!! I KNOW YOU WERE WAITING TO SEE IF I KNEW YOUR BIRTHDAY, AND IF I WOULD WISH YOU. AND SEE HERE I AM, WISHING YOU.
DID YOU LIKE THE GIFTS? FIRST, THE ROSES, I WISH YOU HAVE THE FRAGRANCE OF THESE ROSES IN YOUR LIFE. ROSES ALWAYS HAVE THORNS, YET THEY ARE LOVELY, THE SAME WAY, YOUR LIFE WIL HAVE HAPPY SAD AND BITTER MOMENTS, AND YET IT IS BEAUTIFUL, LIKE THESE ROSES.

Sanskaar and Ragini came into the cabin, and Sanskaar was shocked to see Laksh’s table filled with all the gifts.
“Whoaaa!! Bhai, what’s all this?” Sanskaar asked.
“My birthday gifts!!” Laksh said excited, and handed the letter to Sanskaar. Sanskaar read the letter and turned to Ragini and narrowed his eyes, while Ragini smiled sheepishly. Laksh was too busy in his thoughts to notice them.
“I didn’t knew you love my brother so much. Why don’t you tell him?” Sanskaar whispered to Ragini. “Not yet. I’ll tell him soon.” Ragini replied back.
“Tell him soon. Kahin aisa na ho, mera bhai kisi aur se pyaar kar bhaithe.” Sanskaar said.

Few Days later, Laksh got the contract, for which he was working hard since days, and it was his dream project. So he threw a business party, for his staff and business associates. Laksh arranged it as a sort of couple party, and asked everyone to come with their partners. Sanskaar on knowing this immediately rushed to Ragini.
“Raagu, have you heard of the party?”Sanskaar asked. Ragini nodded.
“So with whom are you going?” Sanskaar asked.
“Single!” Ragini answered. “what? What do you mean by single? You know it’s a couple party, right?” Sanskaar asked.
“Single means single Sanskaar! Anyways, Laksh will also go alone.” Ragini said, looking into one of the files.
“Raagu! You are mad. Do one thing, why don’t you come as my partner?” Sanskaar suggested. Ragini looked at him bewildered. “Arey! I can’t go alone, when it’s a couple party. I want my partner. You are anyways single, so accompany me, as a friend.” Sanskaar requested, and Ragini agreed.

As decided, Sanskaar and Ragini go together. They were standing in one corner talking, when Laksh approached them. Sanskaar and Ragini were shocked to see Laksh coming towards them, with a girl. They expected him to come alone. What shocked them even more was, they were walking hand in hand and Laksh was whispering something in her ear, and the girl was laughing.
Ragini felt bad, seeing the two of them so close. Sanskaar turned to have a look at her, and he sensed her upset. She gave him a forced smile. Meanwhile, Laksh came there,with the girl.
“ Sanskaar, Ragini! She is SWARA, MY GIRLFRIEND. And I love her.” Laksh said, pulling her by her waist. This was it, for Ragini. She felt the world around her collapsing. Sanskaar was too shocked to react.
“Swara, this is Sanskaar, my brother; and this is Ragini, my best friend.” He said, addressing them. Swara gave a warm smile to them, “Hello.” Ragini gave a forced smile.
“Ragini, you remember, you said about love, and it’s magic?” Laksh asked. Ragini nodded, while he continued, “You are right. I got to know about true love. You said there will be someone who will change my views about love, and you were right, I found the perfect girl for me.” Laksh said looking at Swara.
Ragini was controlling hard to not let the tears come out of her eyes, Sanskaar squeezed her hand, assuring that he is there with her.
“See, I told you. You’ll believe it when you love someone.” Ragini managed to put on a fake smile.
“Yes. Thank you Ragini, for making me realize it, and I must thank my secret admirer too, whoever she is, she taught me what love is, through her letter. I think it’s because of her, we both are together.” Laksh said.
Ragini was hurt more listening to this. She excused herself and left the place. Sanskaar too left after her, to see if she is okay. He went back of her, and she was sitting alone on one of the benches, a little away from the party chaos, and she was crying. Sanskaar felt bad seeing his best friend hurt.
He went to her, and sat beside her, “Raagu!! Please don’t cry. You know, I can’t see tears in your eyes.” Sanskaar said consoling her.
“Sanskaar! I didn’t expect this to happen. Laksh loves someone else.” Ragini said in between her sobs.
“Ragini, why don’t you tell bhai, that you love him? That you are his secret admirer? Why don’t you try talking to him once?” Sanskaar said wiping her tears.
“No Sanskaar. I can’t do that. I can’t be selfish. Yes, I love him, but that doesn’t mean he should love me. He loves Swara, and I’m happy for him. He found his true love.” Ragini’s voice cracked at the end.
“But Raagu, what about you and your love. I know how much you love him. If you can’t, then I’m going to talk to him.” Sanskaar said standing up.
Ragini caught his hand, “No Sanskaar. You are not going to do anything like that. You won’t tell him about my love. Please. I only want Laksh’s happiness, and see he is happy with Swara.” Ragini pleaded.
Sanskaar agreed after much pleading from Ragini. “Let’s go inside.” Ragini said standing up.
“Are you sure, you want to go inside?” Sanskaar asked. Ragini nodded.
They both went inside, and Laksh didn’t leave her side. All the couples were called for a couple dance. Laksh also went to the centre, with Swara. Sanskaar took Ragini with him. Ragini danced with Sanskaar, but her entire concentration was on Laksh and Swara, who were dancing to the tune, and Swara was smiling to what Laksh was saying. Sanskaar was hurt, seeing his best friend hurt. And the person, who is hurting her, is none other than his brother.
After the dance, Laksh went to the centre of the hall, and he grabbed the mike. “Ladies and Gentleman! Thank you for your lovely presence today. As you all know this party is organized to celebrate the success of Maheshwari Industries, as we got the International project which we have been working for days. So please enjoy the evening.”
“But but but, before I leave I want to say something for someone special.

Ragini got more upset. This was why she loved Laksh. He was sweet, he cares for his loved ones. If she is not in love with Laksh at present, she would have surely get impressed with his shayari for his love. But this was the very thing that’s hurting her. Sanskaar was looking at Ragini all the while, to check if she was okay. She couldn’t take it anymore, and she left the place immediately.
That night, all she could do, was think about Laksh. She cried herself to sleep, thinking about him.

Next morning, when Laksh entered his cabin, he found a bouquet of red roses with a letter, on his table. He was confused seeing them, on his table. He opened the letter and read it.
“CONGRATULATIONS LAKSH! FINALLY YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR TRUE LOVE. I’M HAPPY FOR YOU AND SWARA. YOU BOTH ARE MADE FOR EACH OTHER, AND I SAW YOUR LOVE FOR HER IN THE PARTY, YESTERDAY. FINALLY, I’M GLAD TO SEE YOU BELIEVE IN LOVE.
LAMHE YE SUHAANE SAATH HO NA HO,
KAL ME AAJ JAISI KOI BAAT HO NA HO,
AAP KE LIYE PYAAR HAMESHA IS DIL MEIN RAHEGA,

Laksh was happy to get the letter, surprised, seeing it on his table, upset and sad, knowing it was the last letter. He immediately called Sanskaar and Ragini, and showed it to them. Sanskaar on reading it, turned towards Ragini, with a question mark expression. He was feeling bad for her. He could see her pain, in the letter. Ragini was looking down. She couldn’t face either Sanskaar or Laksh. She was controlling all her emotions from coming out.
“Ragini, I want to propose my girlfriend for marriage, tonight. Why don’t you give me some nice ideas? Please tell me, what should I do?” Laksh asked Ragini, sounding excited.
“How would I know, Laksh? You know about Swara’s likes and dislikes, so you can plan it well.” Ragini answered sounding low. Sanskaar held her hand, supporting her.
“Laksh, now if you excuse me, I have lot of work to do.” Ragini excused herself and left the place. Sanskaar followed her.

In the evening, Ragini was in her room, thinking about Laksh, when Laksh called her. Ragini had taken the afternoon off, with the excuse of her illhealth. She couldn’t face Laksh, atleast she needed a break to clear her mind of things. But that seemed impossible for her, with Laksh’s call. She could neither ignore his call, nor lift his call. After giving a lot of thought, she finally answered it..
“Hello Laksh.” Ragini answered the call. “Heyy Ragini!” Laksh greeted her, with excitement.
“What happened?” Ragini asked him. “Nothing much. Actually, I told you I want to propose the love of my life today. So, I did all the arrangements, but I just want to you to come and check if everything is perfect. I don’t want to miss out on anything, you know? I want this day to be special for her.” Laksh asked her.
Ragini bit her lip, and held herself from breaking down. “But Laksh…” she started to say, when he cut her off, “No buts Ragini! You are my best friend. Can’t you do this little help for me?” Laksh requested her. Ragini could neither agree, nor deny him. She could do anything for him, but this was something which she couldn’t do either.
“Ragini, please. For me!” Laksh requested again, when he got no reply from her. Ragini agreed. “Okay then! Get ready. I’ll pick you up in 15 minutes.” Laksh informed her.
Ragini got off the bed, unwillingly though. She went to her cupboard, rummaging through her clothes, when her eyes fell on the lovely blue dress which Laksh had gifted her, on her birthday. A wide smile crept up her face, seeing the dress, and she held it lovingly. She decided she would wear that, though she was least interested in getting ready.
She didn’t bother to put on any makeup. She was not in a mood for any of it. She adjusted her hairs, and left them open. She managed to look simple, yet elegant, without even trying to beautify herself.
She went out off the house, to see Laksh already waiting for her, leaning against the car door. He was looking handsome, in white. He was wearing a white shirt with a white blazer, and was looking hot. Ragini just couldn’t take her eyes off him. She was lost in him, when his voice brought her back to the reality.
“Shall we go? We are getting late.” Laksh asked her. Ragini realized the situation, and nodded. They got into the car, and Laksh drove off. The ride was quiet for sometime. Laksh was all excited, while Ragini managed to look out of the window. She was still confused as why she agreed to go with him.
“Ragini, are you okay?” Laksh asked her, breaking the silence. “Haan…what will happen to me?” Ragini asked him casually.
“Nothing. You speak so much, but today you are absolutely silent. Is there something wrong?” Laksh asked concerned.
“No. I’m fine. It’s just that I’m feeling a little tired today.” Ragini answered, trying to avoid further questions from him.
“I’m so sorry Ragini, for forcing you to come, but you are my only best friend.” Laksh apologized.
“No Laksh. It’s okay. By the way, where is Swara? You were supposed to propose her?” Ragini asked him.
“I didn’t tell her anything. I just asked her to get ready, and sent the driver, to bring her.” Laksh replied, all excited.
“Laksh! Looks like someone has planned something really great for his girlfriend.” Ragini teased him.
“Hmm. Yes. I planned everything according to her likes. Now I just hope she likes this, and she agrees to my proposal.” Laksh said, a little tensed.
“Laksh!! Don’t get tensed. Why will she reject you? wo koi pagal hi hogi jo tumhe reject karegi.” Ragini calmed him.
After some time, they reached their destination. Laksh held Ragini’s hand and guided her to the place, where he made all the arrangements. Ragini was just awestruck, seeing everything. They were standing by the side of a lake. They were surrounded by shimmering lights everywhere, with all the lovely flowers around, their fragrance spread in the air. At a little distance from where they were standing, there was a small tent like decoration, decorated in white and blue, and the path to the tent was decorated with rose petals. She didn’t have words to speak out.
“So, Ragini, how is it?” Laksh asked, from behind her. Ragini immediately remembered that all this was done by Laksh, for Swara. She imagined herself in place of Swara.
“Laksh! It’s just awesome!! Swara would surely love this. This is the best, one could do for his love.” Ragini replied. Laksh frowned a little listening to her words.
Laksh held a bouquet of roses, and got on his knees, in front of Ragini. “Laksh! What are you doing? Swara would be coming, get down on your knees in front of her, not me.” Ragini said, shocked.
“Ragini, I’m a little nervous. Let me practice it with you.” Laksh said. “Laksh! Are you mad? Which guy Practices before proposing his love.” Ragini said giving him an unbelievable look.
“Please Ragini.” Laksh requested. Ragini agreed, seeing his cute and tensed face.
“We were Strangers at first, and then became friends. But,I didn’t even know when I started loving you. May be it was when you taught me what is love, or may be, when you made me feel your love towards me. I didn’t realize that you were the one for me, when you first entered into my life. But then, I started knowing you, but still I didn’t get to know the real you. I think I really took a lot of time, in knowing that we both are made for each other. But, better late than never, I finally found the perfect life partner in you. I love you! I really really love you. Will you marry me, Sweetheart?” Laksh asked, with so much of love in his eyes.
Ragini was speechless. If she stayed there for a minute more, she would cry, for sure, and do something, for which she may regret in the future. So, she turned back, and left the place running. Laksh was too numb to react.
Nevertheless, he followed her, and found her standing at a little distance, from all these decorations, staring far into the distance, with her back facing him. He went to her, and placed a hand on her shoulder. Ragini wiped the tears in her eyes, and turned back, and hugged him.
“Ragini, what happened? Why did u come here running? And how was my proposal? Is it not good?” Laksh asked her, frowning, and holding her in his embrace.
“It’s perfect Laksh! It’s perfect!” Ragini replied. She realized their position, and immediately freed herself from him.
“Laksh, I should leave now. Swara must be coming any moment now. And she might misunderstand everything.” Ragini turned to leave. Laksh held her by the wrist and stopped her.
“Ragini! Shall we forget about Swara for a moment now? Why don’t you understand me?” Laksh asked her.
“What do you mean Laksh?” Ragini asked confused.
“Ragini, you love me, right?” Laksh asked her softly, which shocked Ragini. “And don’t dare to lie to me.” Laksh warned her. Ragini bowed her head down, and tears flowed down her eyes. She nodded. Laksh immediately hugged her, and comforted her.
“When were you planning to tell this to me?” He asked her. “But, you love Swara.” Ragini said,fighting back her tears.
“Ragini, I thought you knew me too well. I thought you could see the love for you, in my eyes.” Laksh said. Ragini looked at him confused.
“Ragini! I LOVE YOU!! And as for Swara, she is just my friend, and nothing more.” Laksh said, letting out a sigh. Ragini was blank. She was sure, this is a dream.
“Ragini!! I thought you would confess everything, when I bring Swara, but, I realized, you are not gonna do that! So I had to continue this. What all I said, a few minutes ago, it was meant for you.” Ragini recalled Laksh’s words, and realized that he had not taken Swara’s name anywhere, he just said the words girlfriend, or love.
“Infact, do you even realize, why I selected this place? It’s because you loved this.” Ragini remembered her saying this to Laksh. She looked around, lake, full moon night, starry sky, lights and flowers, everything as she has wished. She was beyond words, she was happy, that he actually listens to what she likes and dislikes. She looked at him for a moment, and gave him a tight hug, “Thank you so much, Laksh.”
“So, is my Secret admirer happy?” Laksh asked, still hugging her.
“Yes! Very much!…wait, what?” She realized what he just said. “How did you know? And when?” She asked.
“A week ago.” Laksh said grinning. “But how?” Ragini asked, confused. Laksh chuckled, seeing her expressions.
“A week ago, u remember, my meeting with Singhanias?” Laksh asked, and Ragini nodded. “Well, the project file of the meeting, I left it in the car. So I went back, to get it, and Guess what?” Ragini’s eyes widened. “I saw you standing near my car, and you left the place, before I could stop you. And I saw the letter at that moment. So I had a doubt on you. and then I recalled the letter on my birthday, saying that ‘chocolates are the best way to celebrate any moment’. You always say this. My suspicions got stronger. And the finale, when I knew the truth was….”
**Flashback**
Laksh was excited, he goes straight to Sanskaar to tell his suspicions. He sees Sanskaar very busy with his mobile. “Sanskaar, you know what?” Laksh said excited. “Kya bhai?” Sanskaar asked not lifting his head up from the mobile.
“Sanskaar! I got to know about my Secret admirer. You know, she is very sweet, and cute….” He was about to say, what he saw, when Sanskaar’s statement shocked him. “I know about her, bhai. Do you have anything else to say?” Laksh, said immersed in his mobile.
‘Wait! What does he mean by he knows about her? Sanskaar knows it’s Ragini?’ Laksh thought. He decided to extract the truth from Sanskaar.
“Sanskaar, you know she is very good, and we both know her very well.” Laksh said cautiously. “I know, bhai.” Sanskaar said half listening to Laksh’s words.
“Sanskaar! And she loves chocolates so much.” Laksh said. “I know Bhai! Raagu loves chocolates so much. Tell me something, which I don’t know.” Sanskaar said. Laksh’s eyes widened listening to this. That means, he was right all along.
“But, I didn’t mention Raagu.” Laksh said smirking. Sanskaar realized his mistake. “Bhai! Wo…” Sanskaar started to say, only to get cut off in the middle, “So, you knew it? and you didn’t tell me?” Laksh asked, holding Sanskaar’s ear.
“Sorry bhai. Leave me, pls… I promised Ragini. But you are a tubelight. I was giving hints all along, you didn’t even know it.” Sanskaar complained. Laksh glared at Sanskaar.
**flash back ends**
“I’m not gonna leave Sanskaar!! I’ll kill him for sure.” Ragini cursed him, under her breath. “But then why didn’t he tell me, you got to know everything?” Ragini asked. “That’s because I threatened him, not to say anything.” Laksh said chuckling.
“That means, he knows about this stupid plan of yours, with Swara.” Ragini started yelling. “No, I didn’t tell him anything about this. He is clueless.” Laksh said hugging her.
“Ragini, I don’t know, when I started loving you, but, every letter of yours, made me fall for you. I literally waited for the end of the day, to read your letters. Your letters made my day. Slowly, I realized, I was in love with my Secret admirer. I was determined to find her at any cost. But, I didn’t want you and Sanky to know, I know, you would pull my legs, so I kept quiet.” Laksh confessed everthing.
Ragini was happy listening to him. “So, Ragini, will you marry me?” Laksh asked her.
Ragini thought for a moment, “No!!” Laksh was shocked, “What?” he shouted.
“Listen to me, first.” Ragini said. Laksh was hell confused.
“I’ll marry you only, if you propose me, in a way, I can never reject!” Ragini said with a naughty smile. Laksh was relieved.
Laksh bent down on his knees, “RAGINI, YOU ARE MY LIFE. I DIDN’T KNOW, HOW, WHEN, AND WHY I HAD FALLEN FOR YOU. BUT TRUTH IS THAT, I’M HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE WITH YOU. THE NEXT GIRL, FOR WHOM I’LL BE BENDING ON MY KNEES, WOULD BE OUR DAUGHTER, AND THAT TOO FOR TYING HER SHOE LACES. SO WILL YOU BE THE PRINCESS IN THE CASTLE OF MY HEART? WILL YOU MARRY ME?”
Ragini was speechless. She was awestruck by this proposal from Laksh, “Awww!!! Laksh, how cute? Yes, I’ll marry you.” Saying this, Ragini hugged him tight.
“I LOVE YOU LAKSH!!!” Ragini said, hugging him.
“I LOVE YOU TOO RAGINI!!” Laksh said.
