Rahul Sharma who recently tied the knot with Jaipur girl Neha Sharma is enjoying the marital bliss. The couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony on Saturday evening near Jaipur. Due to the COVID scenario, only close friends and family could attend the wedding festivities which lasted for three days.
In a recent interview with BT, Rahul talked about it and shared, “I love winters, and had always dreamt of a lavish winter wedding in a palace. The dream has come true. Now I feel settled, secure, and happy. It took a long time for me to get married, but jo apki kismet ka hota hai, wo apko sahi waqt par hi milti hai.”
Rahul’s family was having second thoughts about the wedding because of Covid restrictions and were thinking about postponing the wedding but they finally decided to go with the plan and keep it a low-key affair.
Talking about his honeymoon plans, Rahul shared, “If the situation was normal and there were no travel restrictions, we would have gone to Europe for a month. But considering the current situation, we will plan a trip to the mountains, most probably a remote location in Uttarakhand.”
For the unversed Rahul’s wife, Neha is a teacher at a Jaipur school.
