How are you feeling being the runner-up of Bigg Boss14? How upset are you?
I’m happy that my journey of Bigg Boss has ended. I would be happier if I was on the winning side, but there’s always only one winner. However, I always believe in winning with dignity and losing with grace. Honestly, I am very happy that now I can get back to my family and my girlfriend and spend quality time with them. I have done my bit and being in top two means a lot. I am so surprised that I am not sad at all.
When asked if he feels that he lose the trophy because he left the house once? He said, “No honestly I don’t think that is the reason because people don’t keep so many things in mind. There’s no point of you being inside the house throughout and not performing well and I’m sure my competitors too messed up a few times. People keep your journey in mind and forgive you for your mistakes. As Salman Khan sir said that both were at par with each other, but somebody was just a bit ahead. And I humbly accept the decision by the public.”
He further adds, “I have got what I wanted the show to give me. I always wanted to gain new fans. I wanted to reach more people who had not seen or heard of me. That has surely happened through this platform and that was my only reason to come to Bigg Boss. This makes me extremely happy. An artist is nothing without his/her fans and I am happy to have made new fans.
You were the runner-up of Indian Idol 1 and now even Bigg Boss 1”
When asked if his luck can be blamed, he said, “I can probably blame my luck a bit. But I am happy for whatever my luck has given me rather than complaining what it has not. I am thankful for what it has given me. 15 years ago when Indian Idol happened I was a different person and now I am a completely different person, so I have no regrets.”
He was seen mimicking in the house so is he interested in acting as well, “Let’s see because you should never say never. If something excites me then why not? I would like to be part of it.”
