Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, hosted by Anil Kapoor, has been generating buzz with its intriguing lineup of contestants. Among them is the well-known actor Ranvir Shorey. In a recent episode of the controversial reality show, Ranvir was seen smoking a cigarette inside the house during the puppet task.
In the July 2 episode of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, Ranvir Shorey, Shivani Kumari, and Vishal Pandey put on a puppet show for their fellow contestants. During the task, viewers spotted Ranvir Shorey smoking a cigarette inside the house premises. He was seen conversing with Sai Ketan Rao while smoking in the living area.
For those unaware, the Bigg Boss house always includes a designated smoking zone for contestants. It is mandatory for contestants to smoke in this designated area. Violating this rule usually results in punishment by Bigg Boss.
Ranvir Shorey breached this rule by smoking inside the house instead of using the smoking area. Given the seriousness of the violation, strict action was anticipated. However, the show’s producers took no action against him, and Bigg Boss did not even issue a warning for his infraction.
It remains to be seen if host Anil Kapoor will address this major rule violation during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode or if it will go unnoticed. Notably, this is not the first instance of such a breach. In Bigg Boss Season 16, Sajid Khan was also caught smoking inside the house premises. Following a warning from Bigg Boss, he adhered to the house rules.
Within the first ten days of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, two contestants have already been evicted. Neeraj Goyat was eliminated midweek due to receiving fewer votes, and Payal Malik’s journey ended during the first Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
Viewers are now keen to see how the situation unfolds and whether Ranvir Shorey’s rule violation will be addressed in future episodes.
