Actor and entrepreneur Raqesh Bapat recently celebrated his birthday on Ganesh Chaturthi. The actor received some beautiful gifts from his fans which gave him more than one reason to be grateful.
Raqesh, who has been an advocate of sustainable living, introduced DIY kits to make eco-friendly Ganpati. Now anyone can make their eco-friendly Ganpati without any experience to sculpt an idol. His noble venture was received with a humongous response from his fans. As a result, the kits were sold out in no time.
Along with Raqesh’s fans, celebs like Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi, Tejaswi Prakash have all sculpted their eco-friendly Ganesha idols this year, which Raqesh believes is the best gift he could have asked for.
To add to his elite, Raqesh’s fans planned a beautiful birthday surprise for him where the fans came together and contributed towards the meals for school children through a non-profit organization.
Not just that but his fans also planted trees on his behalf & sent across a certificate for the same. Raqesh talked about it and shared, “This is what dreams are made of, when people believe in my cause, it is my biggest reward. Sustainability is the need of the hour much more so now than ever for me..It is a consistent effort that my family & I have been putting into since many years now.
