daariyaan, produced by Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta under their Dreamiyata Entertainment Private Limited banner, is set to take a 15-year leap. The new episodes, premiering from May 30, will feature Avinesh Rekhi, Aditi Bhagat, and Shreya Jain in lead roles.
Avinesh Rekhi views the leap not as a risk but as an opportunity for a fresh story. “In a storyline, a leap sometimes brings a fresh perspective and takes the show to new heights. I am expecting the same this time,” he shared. Despite this optimism, Avinesh acknowledged the inevitable pressure of performance: “As an actor, my focus is to give my 100% and bring justice to the story as well as my character.”
When asked about how to keep a daily show engaging, Avinesh emphasized the importance of a compelling story. “The story breaks the monotony, as they always say, content is king. The team involved in the project brings their fresh perspectives, which enhances everything, and we tend to deliver good entertainment to the audience,” he said.
Avinesh begins his new projects by seeking blessings at the Gurudwara. He also revealed his approach to the first day on set, focusing on slowly establishing his character. “So I spend more time in discussions and understanding the character before shooting,” he explained.
A dedicated performer, Avinesh credits his growth to learning from various sources. “Be it actors, directors, and also people around my surroundings whom I observe, there wouldn’t be one particular person, as the journey shapes and solidifies your craft. My idol would be my experience,” he said.
