Hi Sree, thanks a lot.
Hi Neetu, thank you.
Hi Mary, thanks for reading! A lot of time incorporating the wrong way is right, but there are also so many cases of false allegations in the present that it’s difficult to support just one party in a lot of scenarios.
Hi Candid11, thanks so much! Your curiosity and interest really lifted my spirits. I’ll most definitely check out the recommendation once I have some time on my hands. Thanks for the suggestion.
Hi Ravneet, thanks so much.
Hi AarushiSoni, thank you.
Hi Shreya, thanks a lot.
Hi Siddhi_, thank you.
Hi Niyati12, thank you so much.
Hi Nia, thank you so much! I’m glad you’re liking the FF. In all honesty, I’d always wanted Riddhima to avenge Angre, but I did not have this in my mind. This was more of a spot-on decision. Ishani is going to be a very important character in this FF and I’m really eager to write and develop that character. I guess, it’d be the most relatable character from this FF (unlike the rest hehe). And yes, there are going to be about 40 chapters unless I can come up with something much shorter. 🙂
Hi Parita, thank you so much.

BECOMING MRS. RAISINGHANIA – EPISODE 22: PAINED IN LOVE
When Vansh walked into the basement of his office, he looked visibly frustrated, and his face was scrunched into a frown. He shoved his hands inside the pockets and walked toward Ishani’s car, deciding to vent out his anger at her.
Vansh (standing in front of her): What the heck is it, Ishani? I was in the middle of a f*ck*ing meeting with the Raizadas. It’s not like you didn’t know about it.
Ishani: Riddhima had gone to her office in the morning. I think she’d been away for a while.
He turned around and walked away, leaning against the hood of the car. He brushed a rough hand through his hair, dishevelling his hair. He couldn’t believe that his sister had forced him out of a meeting and was still willing to waste his time.
Vansh: Would you like to proceed? If there’s nothing, I might as well go inside and…
Ishani: Angre… (she saw him fisting his fingers at the mention) He tried to assault Riddhima in the office.
Vansh spun around instantly and looked at her, his gaze widening in shock. The words rang in his ears and he looked at her, willing to believe that he’d heard her wrong. When she hung her head down, he gritted his teeth and banged his fist against the car hood. The sound of the metal echoed through the basement and he fished out his phone from his pocket, trying to call the chauffeur.
Ishani: What’re you doing?
Vansh (in a stern voice): Go back home with Kaka. I’ve some unfinished business to take care of. (looking at the car Ishani had driven) I’m taking this car, I don’t have time to wait.
Ishani saw him get inside the car and smash the door close. She flinched as the sound rang through the basement and looked at him, his eyes and expressions brimming with anger. She inhaled a deep breath and as he revved the engine, she bent down and knocked on the car window. He tried ignoring her – he knew what she was going to say, but she knocked for the umpteenth time and he turned toward her, almost cursing her.
Vansh: What is it now?
Ishani: I think Riddhima needs you more than anything. Handling Angre can wait.
Vansh: But that b*stard! He tried to…
Ishani (nodding her head): I know and that is exactly why I feel you should think of Riddhima at the moment. There shouldn’t be anything more important than her for you, right now.
Vansh inhaled a deep breath, berating himself for not prioritizing of her. He’d promised her, he would. He’d striven to take care of her with this relation, but he’d failed. That b*st*rd has assaulted her and he was here, sitting in an air-conditioned room attending several of his conference calls just to make money.
Vansh: Fine. Where is she?
Ishani: I’d stopped by Tina’s apartment to help her change into something comfortable, but she insisted I dropped her at the park nearby. (seeing Vansh furrow her brows and look at her unbelievably) She wanted to be alone, and I thought…
However, he’d already driven away without listening to all of her explanations. She stared at the disappearing silhouette and as she returned home, she couldn’t stop the tears that rolled down her cheeks.
She wasn’t as strong as Riddhima and as much as she hated herself for thinking of it, she couldn’t prevent the way the thought invaded her mind. Did her twin brother even think of her juxtaposition? Did he think of how she’d been stranded in the middle of everything?
She wouldn’t have stopped him to herself, but he could’ve just asked. Afterall, it was just three mere words, wasn’t it?
————
Riddhima sat on the bench and looked over the small lake, staring at the distance as the children ran over the lush green grass behind each other. The ghost of a smile tainted her lips and memories from the past spiralled into her mind.
She remembered how her mother ran behind her as a child, laughing and tickling her when she was caught. Her mother’s life orbited around her and despite how much she wanted to ride herself of those memories or the . . . pain, she could never forget that smile. The way her mother’s eyes glittered, the way her nose crinkled, and the corners of her lips twisted. It all seemed magical and as if . . . it was only yesterday when she’d seen her writhe in pain on that hospital bed.
When she heard the footsteps behind her, she blinked her eyes and looked over the distance again, her gaze now settled on the setting sun. He loved sunsets, he’d told her once, but she’d laughed at his words. He’d told her that like the sun, regardless of what occurred, he was always going to be with her. He was going to wait for her to find him at the end of each dark tunnel, but she’d shooed him away saying she did not need him.
Riddhima: I’d asked Ishani to not tell you.
Vansh: Well, (sitting beside her) I can’t miss the sunset. (holding his silence for a few moments) Kaise pata chala?
Riddhima held her silence and watched the sun disappear behind the trees in the distance. She ignored his question because she did not want him to know how he was beginning to affect her. She knew she’d never reciprocate any feelings in this relationship, and she didn’t want to give him false hopes. It was why she’d told him that their relationship would never be of normalcy.
Vansh (looking down at the ground): I wish I’d been there. I just…
Riddhima (interrupting): He didn’t assault me today. I felt that you deserved to know it. (pausing shortly) He assaulted me before our engagement – before I agreed for this alliance. It was during that party.
Vansh: But Ishani saw you in the office in that . . . state.
Riddhima (inhaling a deep breath): I was submitting my resignation letter, but he wouldn’t stop his filthy comments and he was trying to blackmail me, so I created a scene to save myself and . . . in turn, teach him a lesson. He shouldn’t have tried messing with me. (pausing briefly) I did not know Ishani was supposed to be coming today.
Vansh: Did he try assaulting you after that day too? Because it’s been a while since you returned to office and (exhaling a harsh breath) Wouldn’t you have resigned already if you were to?
Riddhima: I wanted to have a job in hand before resigning, but he tried to exert his power on me last night. (looking at him) And I know how much you hate him. I was determined to resign before our marriage.
Vansh looked at her, a fraction of his anger slowly fading away. In all these months, this was the first time he was seeing her think of him. A small smile pulled the corners of his lips and he looked away, not wanting to express his elation to her.
Vansh: You should’ve told me before, I’d have broken his face and that goddamn goodwill he carries around.
Riddhima (chuckling softly): I know, but my battles are not yours to fight. I’ve always taken care of myself alone, I don’t need anyone.
Vansh laced their hands together and placed them above his knee, his thumb slowly rubbing circles on her skin. She felt herself relax against his touch and her anxiousness began fading away.
Vansh: I’d promised to take care of you, I’m sorry. The next time…
Riddhima (interrupting): There won’t be any next time. (looking at him) You’re not making any such promises. I don’t want the two of us to be a burden on each other.
Vansh: Riddhima, the two of us are getting married. I don’t think taking care of each other in a marriagecan be any sort of a burden.
Riddhima (standing up): For as long the marriage remains a societal affair, taking care of each other will always be a burden. And ours will never have a true meaning.
She walked away from the bench, trying to fight the emotions within herself. She’d never wanted a marriage herself and even when she’d agreed to this alliance, it was only because she’d wanted to save Ishani and Angre’s relation. Then, why did it pain?
Vansh was not supposed to mean anything to her, was he?
————
Vansh stared at her retreating figure, her words echoing in his ears. Why did she always want to run away from him? He knew he was wrong in the past, but she’d told him that she’d forgiven him for everything that had occurred between them.
He turned around and stared into the distance as the sky slowly began darkening. He didn’t want their relationship to only remain a societal affair. It had begun meaning more to him, more than he’d ever imagined it to and he wanted her to realise it too. He knew the two of them could provide their marriage a beautiful meaning together.
As he continued staring into the distance, he saw an older couple strolling in the lushness of the park. A small smile lingered on his lips as he thought of his grandparents. Even after his grandad had passed away, his grandmother had always lived for him. She’d always told him that his grandfather would’ve been upset if she did not have a purpose to live without him. She’d always told him that love was precious . . . and painful. She’d always told him that there was no love without pain.
He knew his love was beginning to become excruciatingly painful, but despite the pain, he’d also begun realising that it was special. That, every moment he lived with Riddhima was precious and absolutely beautiful.

I’d want to know the kind of reaction you guys were expecting from Vansh because I’ve clearly missed and skipped on a lot.
That’s it for now. Thanks for reading and stay safe everyone!

fabulous as usual
👌.
Ridhu ko kab realized hoga pyaar
Fabulous episode
❤
Awesome
Amazing episode
Dear Riaa,
Couldn’t comment the last episode as I got late in reading the same due to work.
I am glad Riddhima had confessed her action to Vansh. She’s blunt, transparent and honest, which is rare in society today.
But over and again, I am falling in love with your Vansh, such a fantastic human being, though its fictional. In fact, I loved Ishani as well, I must say she is sensitive towards Riddhima’s emotions. Unlike the drama (I mean IMM2) where honestly I can’t in my logical mind understand why Ishani is always bickering and hates Riddhima to the core but the way your have developed their relationship in this FF is so pleasant. Hope Ishani does not turn to be as negative as she is in IMM2 in this FF.
I was afraid that this FF would end soon. You drew a smile on my face, in fact I am so excited to know that I will be reading at least another 40 episodes of your writing, which means we will stay connected for a while through this FF.
Thank you so much for your continuous effort and creativity in entertaining us. Looking forward to another fabulous episode :).
Hey as usual fabulous ep but pls make Riddhima realise her love soon as our Vansh has already done that ❤️❤️😂😂😂😂
Plz riddhima ko realize krayo
Episode is good
Amazing
Dear Riaa,
As I was pondering the question you have posed, I went down memory lane and recalled an episode, I guess it was during a vacation and Riddhima was terrified of the sound of thunderstorm and Vansh came and rescued her. I always wondered why she was so terrified.
Hope Riddhima will reveal to Vansh soon about her past. At least, that would sort of give Vansh an effective idea to tackle Riddhima and make her to understand that their marriage is one of love and not societal affair.
But I also feel sorry for Vansh, can it be that, maybe once in a way, Riddhima pacifies him, after all it takes 2 hands for any relationship to work or is it the fact that I am just bias because its Vansh and I don’t want his heart to break, Oops!
Hi Jayanthi, I’m going to write about both these points real soon – hoping to have one of them incorporated in the next chapter itself. Thanks for reminding me though, it had surely slipped out of my mind for a bit. 🙂
I actually expecting same as you write about Riddhima telling vansh truth. But didn’t bother about Vansh reaction.
Now I am thinking the reaction Vansh had is justified as he love her
Amazing dear ❤️ eagerly waiting for the next
Awesome update, I love Riddhima’s honesty and sincerity. I thought if Vansh comes to know her lie, he will eat her alive 🤭😅😅 but he did the contrary he reacts like a gentleman as he is.
Awesome episode dear I really liked when Riddhima revealed truth to Vansh regarding Angre and also the way she said to Vansh it’s not your battle to fight she is so bold and fierce I really enjoyed it very much but make Riddhima realise her love towards Vansh eagerly waiting for next update
Wo its amazing Riaa. I think this emotional battle should long for a time because the long bitter it taste sweet more. Take care
So nice man!! I can’t even imagine.. totally unpredictable stroy.. and here Ishani is a goddess for me right now!!! Loved it dear… Amazing episode 👍🏻.. try to post asap
It was a great one! I never expected Riddhima to tell the truth but i guess how you portrayed her character had to tell-loved it!! Pls post soon
Loved ridhimas honesty
Loved ishani care for ridima
Loved to see vansh break angres face
Love to see riansh relation to change into love one rather than social affair
Independence is good but let vansh enter her heart
Hi Mary, Riddhima’s reservedness is not about her independence. It’s about her past and insecurities, and to me, it still feels like Vansh may have done a lot for her, but it’s not easy to open-up to anyone when you’re that introverted – also especially, to that person who forced you for a marriage.
Nice. plz don’t end it too soon.
Amazing dear❤
Amazing episode 💞💞💞

She’d always told him that there was no love without pain. these lines touched my soul thanks for this update take care of yourself and stay safe and happy dear
This was amazing! I love the way you describe your characters’ emotions. My heart went out to Ishani today. She lost her fiance, and needed some kind of consoling from Vansh, but got none. Also can we all just aplreciate for how maturely she handled everything?
.
I like how Riddhima told Vansh the truth. For me, Vansh’s reaction was justified. He is a sensible young man, and he acted just like that.
