Hi, y’all! Here are the responses from the previous episode:
Hi Disco Priya Ravichandran, yay! Thank you for reading and commenting, though.
Hi Akshaya, thank you so much!
Hi Shivangi, thank you! About your guess, let’s see what happens. Although, there’s still some time left for it to happen.
Hi Sumisha, thank you so much! You’re so sweet. About Vansh wanting Riddhima to be his wife, I hope to write that really soon. That should be coming up in another 2/3 episodes, hope you like it! There’s another Riansh moment here, by the way. Next episode, I’ll try making it only about them. 😀
Hi Jayashree, thank you so, so much! Let’s see who’s fallen in love and who’s going to. There’s still some time left for those revelations, hehe.
Hi Nifa, thank you so, so much! I’m glad you liked the previous episode and I look forward to hearing from you, again.
Hi Seanna, thank you! Yes, I do, so there’s some more Aryan in here, haha.
Hi Anhi, thank you so, so much!
Hi Riansh Lover, thank you so much! I’ll try seeing if I can make Riddhima and Siya bond better. 😀
Hi Sameera, I don’t know what to tell about myself in particular. Feel free to ask me anything you want to and I’ll answer. P.S.: Thank you so much!
Hi Vasu, thank you so, so much! I’m glad you liked the episode.
Hi Aafrin, thank you so, so much! I’m glad you liked it and I look forward to hearing from you, again.
Hi Zara, thank you so, so much! Your comment honestly means the world to me and I’m so grateful. Yes, I’m the one who wrote ‘Luka Chuppi’ too, did you read that? I look forward to hearing more from you. Love from Karnataka!
Hi 😈😈😈, I’m sorry to have you disappointed, but from a very genuine perspective, I feel Riddhima’s behaviour and attitude toward Vansh is justified. But I’m glad you liked the last scene. Thank you for reading and commenting! I’d try seeing how can I take down Riddhima’s attitude a notch, though.
Hi Ravi, thank you so, so much! I miss reading your views regularly, by the way. All okay, I hope?
Hi Ehsaas, thank you so much!
Hi KV2711, thank you so much! I’m glad you liked the previous episode and about liking and loving each other, there might still be some time left for it. I hope you enjoy the FF nonetheless, though.
Hi Chaitanya, thank you so much!
Hi TSA, thank you so, so much! Like I told you, you’re easily the kindest. I’m glad you’re liking the FF and I hope, you continue to do so.
Hi Darshika, thank you so much! I’m so glad that you’re liking the characterizations. I hope you continue liking them in the further updates too.
Hi Sahada, that is so sweet of you. Thank you so, so much! The comment honestly made my day.
Hi Diha, thank you so much! I’m glad you’re liking the FF and I hope you continue liking it too.

BECOMING MRS. RAISINGHANIA – EPISODE 8: THE SHAWL
Riddhima wrapped the shawl tighter around herself and looked at the others enjoying around the bonfire. She hadn’t wanted to come outside into the pitch darkness, but her sister had promised her it’d be fun. She’d quite literally pulled her out from the comforter ad forced her to mingle with the crowd.
She’d talked to quite a few from the crowd, but no one had been able to pique her interest into a conversation. She was sure, she wasn’t an anti-socialite, but she knew she didn’t belong to an elite background and that thought made mingling with the others difficult. She wasn’t as carefree as her sister and a lot of times, she’d berated her fate for it.
“What’re you doing here alone? Come, join us!”
She looked up from her laced fingers, her eyes widening at the suddenness of the voice. The silence from the past hour had begun getting so comfortable. Especially because, she hadn’t thought anyone would notice her, sitting away from the crowd.
Riddhima (smiling softly): I’m good here. You go enjoy yourself, Aryan.
He shared the wood log she was sitting on and smiled at her, before stretching his hands and legs.
Aryan: It’s quite cold here. At least, come sit near the bonfire.
Riddhima: That’s fine, but I don’t want to keep you. You should really go and get back into the crowd.
Aryan: Are you always this formal, or is it just with me?
Riddhima (nodding): I take time to make friends. I have to know someone very well to become friends with them.
She stared into the distance and looked at the crowd, trying to find herself the solitude. Aryan was a good company, though, she didn’t complain. But exposing herself to someone she didn’t know too well wasn’t her trait – she couldn’t do it.
Aryan: Is that why you don’t want to marry Vansh Bhai?
Riddhima’s head snapped toward him and she stared at him, her gaze widening due to the suddenness of the query. Out of everything, she hadn’t expected him to talk about the marriage again and she felt herself fumble for words. She didn’t want to put down Vansh in front of those who respected and adored him. It felt utterly wrong, mainly because she wasn’t him.
Aryan: Look, I don’t know you very well and neither do I know what’s happened between you two, but just know, if he’s taken some decision, he’s thought about the family first and later about himself.
Riddhima: That’s, that’s (inhaling deeply) Thanks! I’ll think about it.
Aryan: If there’s something you wanted to share, know I’m here, okay? I hope, I can be a good friend.
Riddhima smiled at him and stared at his retreating figure, his words constantly roaming in her head. However, as soon as her sense of rationality kicked in, she went back to square one. Regardless of whatsoever, the way Vansh had forced his decision on her wasn’t justified. It’d never be justified.
“Why are you sitting here alone?”
Riddhima shook her head, instantly recognising the voice. She never enjoyed his company, but she’d decided to ignore him. She’d realised, his presence had always overwhelmed her in more than one way possible and she didn’t like it. She didn’t like how he made her feel all the time, like he was genuinely appreciating and admiring her. She knew, he wasn’t.
She knew, she’d to blame it on the emotions, because the man was anything, but genuine.
Vansh (forwarding his hand): Come, I’ll show you something in the premise.
Riddhima: I’m good here. I don’t want to see anything.
Vansh: Do you always have to argue?
Riddhima: Do you always have to order around?
Vansh: I’m not – (inhaling deeply) Okay, do you want to see something beautiful inside the premise?
Riddhima: You really thought framing the sentence was the problem?
Vansh (sitting down): Fine, if you don’t want to go, let it be.
She shook her head and looked away, while Vansh looked at her and noticed the way she had wrapped the shawl tightly around herself. She was constantly rocking herself back and forth, and her petite figure had succumbed in the winter. Yet, she sat away from the crowd and the bonfire. Her lips were shivering from the cold and she constantly pulled them inward, clenching in the cold frequently.
Vansh: You’re cold. Let’s get you closer to the bonfire!
Riddhima: Please, leave me alone. That’d be enough.
Vansh: How will me going away make you feel warmer? Stop being so stubborn.
Riddhima: Please, just… (looking at him) You wouldn’t understand, just leave me alone.
He stared at her worriedly, wanting to help somehow. Not that she’d accept his help, but he needed to do something, forcefully if need be. He knew, she’d fall ill otherwise, catching a severe cold and fever.
Moments later, he shifted closer to her and pulled the shawl out of her hands, despite her protests and wrapped it around himself. The fabric of her outfit touched his hand and he shifted further, slowly wrapping his arm around her. It wasn’t very gentlemanly of him, yet it felt like the right thing to do in that exact moment.
He could feel her heavy breathing from the shivering and he slowly rubbed his palm against her back, trying to comfort her. As her breathing levelled, he realised how close they were – barely leaving any gap between themselves. He decided, the next morning he’d find a lawsuit filed against him charging him for several crimes, and he’d find her revelling in ecstasy.
Riddhima: What the h’ck are you doing? Move away!
Vansh: You can speak because of me, stop being so ignorant.
Riddhima: I was speaking back then, too.
Vansh (mimicking her, with long puffs of breath in between): Uf-Of course. Li-Like some.. some fi-five-year ol-old ki-kid.
Riddhima: Shut up!
Vansh: Do I get to stay here then?
Riddhima: No way! I can’t tolerate you one more minute.
Vansh: Then, for the next few seconds, let me talk.
Riddhima: Why can’t you keep your mouth sealed?
Vansh: Taras jaogi mere chuppi se. (You’ll be desperate if I become quiet.)
Riddhima (smirking): Main mar na jaun usse pehle. (I’ll die before that.)
Vansh: Jaane do. (Let it be.) I would spare you that brunt, I’ll continue talking.
Riddhima: I’m going to throw you out of the shawl then.
Vansh: But you’ll let me stay if I don’t speak?
Riddhima: I’ll think about it.
Vansh: That was quick! (seeing Riddhima glare at him) Okay.
Riddhima: Okay.
The two of them sat in silence as they watched the others enjoy the night. Vansh had looked at Riddhima from the corner of his eyes several times and he could’ve sworn, despite the darkness that enveloped them, that Riddhima had a smile stretching her lips and a feeling of pleasantness spread across her face.
