“Yay Kabbie bhai found his name” screeched Manny from one side and hugged Kabeer. “Abbey Nittu. How much time you will take haa? See if you take one more minute also she is gonna torture you all your life reminding this. Search fast” whispered Ishan and Nitin gulped scared. He looked and found Ragini piercing him with a pointed look. He smiled at her sheepishly and got back to finding his name. He was trying all his brain but was not able to find his name. He looked up and pleaded her to help she just turned her face. “Ahhhh Maa bhi na why did she invite Mallika to attend all the functions and I’m here dying because of her” he thought in his mind. “Still he did not find his name?” asked Kabeer. Ishan nodded his head pouting sadly.
“Haaw Nittu tujhse yeh ummeed nahi thi. I thought you will take the minimum time among all of us. But I think your love doesn’t have the same power as earlier. Is it due to something or someone?” teased Manny. Nitin glared him and he controlled his life. Nitin turned his head to look at Ragini. He found her tearing and it made his eyes well up. He signed her to control her tears. He took a deep breath and started searching again and found his name between the fingers. “I found it… I found it…” He screeched like a small kid. “Duh…. Thank God” said Ishan. “Awww my Jamai is so smart” exclaimed Janaki caressing his cheek. “Oh this is all effect of my bahu otherwise dumbo would have taken ages to find” said Yashu holding Ragini from her shoulders.

“Angry on me?” asked Nitin standing beside Ragini. She pouted and turned other side. He held her hand and turned her. He lifted her head holding her chin and found tears on her cheek. “Ragu” said he worried cupping her face. “What happened Babu?” asked he bringing her more close to him. “I’m scared…” said she in a cracking voice. “Why?” asked he. “I don’t know” said she like a small kid. “Is that because of Manny’s words?” asked he and she looked into his eyes. He understood she was insecure. “Don’t you trust me?” he asked. “I do” said she. “Then?” he asked shrinking his eye brows. “I can’t trust others” said she. “Why do you care about others?” asked he. “Because…. because…. I don’t wanna let you go away from me” said she. “You think I can live if I go away from you?” asked he and tears dropped from his eyes. She immediately closed his mouth with her hand and nodded her head in a no.
She hugged him and he held her head and caressed her hair. “Don’t you dare… Nobody can snatch you from me. Nobody” said she in cracking but yet determined voice. “Are you sure? What about Mallika ji. You know she is so evil” said he. “I hate you I hate you” said she and hit him on his chest. “That you can never Mrs Roy” said he dragging in a bear hug again. He placed his chin over her head and patted it. As his eyes turned to the door of the terrace he found Mallika exiting from there and wiping her tears.
“Are you okay?” asked Nitin to Mallika who was wiping her tears. She smiled at him and said “I’m fine” “Are you sure?” asked he. “I was just missing someone that’s all” said she and tears again started flowing from her eyes. “Hey” said he and held her from her shoulders. She looked at him and smiled through her tears. “You can share it with me if you feel like” said he and assured her that she can trust him. “Everyone will not be lucky Nitin in love. I had a break up recently. Now I miss him a lot” said she in cracking voice. “You know Mallika me and Ragini also had our own battles which we fought and now are together. Time tests you but you have to hold on to Love. Though you are the only person holding onto it and the other person has left all the hopes still you have to hold it tight” said he and she looked at him confused. “Wanna listen to mine and Ragu’s journey?” asked he. “Sure” said she.
“You know she fell in love with me first but due to some misconceptions she never even initiated talks with me. Then I fell in love with her but I did not know it was her because I had heard only her voice. But by the time I discovered she was engaged to the person her dad chose. And I was not aware of it so I initiated talking with her then we became friends first then best friends. When I wanted to propose her she met with an accident and I was at the verge of loosing her….” he paused and tears flew from his eyes and Mallika kept her hand on his shoulder and he smiled at her weakly and wiped his tears.
“Then again I proposed her but stupid girl lied that she never felt that way for me. I was broken and I felt my life meaningless. First time in my life I loved someone beyond limits and that person did not return my feelings. Then her friends planned and made her to confess her feelings on the same day.
You know it felt like all my dreams shattered and in next moment it felt all my dreams have rebuilt within moments but then I discovered she is engaged. She did not wanted to hurt her dad. I mean she was going through a battle to choose between two important persons of her life. Finally she choose her dad over me. I had lost all my hopes then mom told me to fight back. And I did. You know I have to fight her for her. And when she was ready to come out of her dad’s hold I felt her dad’s pain and I let her go. It made her angry, You know for one year we did not even speak to each other. That was the most difficult thing to do. Even if she fights ok but if I don’t hear her voice I cannot survive. Due to her mom who used send me her recorded voice I survived. She always had that grudge on me that I left her when she was ready to come to me.
But soon the things solved and everyone accepted our love” said he and looked at Mallika who was looking at him with tears.
“I thought I have the biggest problem in my life but you both had gone through so much” said she. “Love doesn’t promise you the path of flowers. It will have thorns also but you have to hold it tight may whatever come” said he smiling and caressing her one cheek. She smiled and nodded her head. “You love him?” asked he. “Ya I do. Now I’m sure I love him and only him” said she and wiped her tears. “So don’t stop yourself Just go to him and tell him what you feel” said he and she nodded her head. “I will do that” said she and walked from there after giving him a hug. He smiled and turned and found Ragini who was fuming. “Ragu” he gulped scared. She huffed and walked from there.
“I was just consoling her nothing else” said he walking behind her.
“Why you are Mother Teresa ha?” asked she. “Mother Teresa? I can’t be that” said he confused. Ragini stopped and turned. “Then what Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi ya phir Narendra Modi?” asked she nearing him and he walking back looking at her scared. He held her hand and dragged her near him and pinned her both the hands to her back. “Leave me” said she struggling in his hold. “I can never do that” said he and dragged her more close to himself.
“I said….” before she could say he captured her lips with his and closed his eyes. Her eyes widened shocked. But within seconds she melted in his closeness and stopped her struggle. He loosened his grip on her hands and held her waist and dragged her close to him and she stroked his hair and responded to the kiss and closed her eyes. “Don’t you think now a days you are becoming naughty Mrs. Roy?” asked he as he stood touching her forehead with his. She kissed his nose and he blushed. “I like the way you cool down” said he and pecked her lips. “And I like the way you cool me down” said she and blushed biting her lips. He pecked her lips again. “Don’t tempt me now” said he and she hugged him blushing.
