Actress Rubina Dilaik who won the Bigg Boss 14, recently shared a post on her Instagram account where she expressed her joy and of celebrating Diwali in her hometown after a decade.
The actress shared a beautiful picture in a white suit and some group pictures with her family. She also shared a video where she gave a glimpse of the traditions of her village. In the video people from the village can be seen dancing and singing traditional songs while they carry Lord Shiva in a palki.
Along with the pictures and video, she wrote, ‘Celebrated Diwali in my Village after 10 years 🪔…… The tradition of celebrating Diwali in Our village is very unique! The procession and the celebration is high on local music and dance . Our deity Shirgul Maharaj (Lord Shiva) from Dewat temple is taken out on a Palki and all the villagers celebrate the festival for two days, folk songs and local cuisines attract hundreds of devotees from the neighboring village! The procession heads to the main Kuldevi , Thor Mata Temple ( Durga Maa) in Shantha where Jagra (local term for Diwali) is culminated and everyone dances their hearts out in praise of our local deities!’.
