Rubina Dilaik stays connected with family in Himachal Pradesh amidst heavy rains and landslides
Rubina Dilaik, hailing from Himachal Pradesh, maintains constant communication with her parents residing in Chopal. Concerned about their well-being and safety amidst the torrential downpour and landslides in the state, the actress remains in touch with her family.
During a recent interview, Rubina talked about it and shared, “I am in constant touch with my family. Thankfully, they are safe, but the past few days have been extremely challenging. There were significant electricity disruptions, and the mobile network was also down. From June 9 to 11, during the worst of the situation, I could hardly connect with them. It’s still raining there, and the occurrence of landslides is quite frightening.”
Recently, while in Punjab for personal matters, Rubina decided to return to Mumbai due to the adverse weather conditions. She explains, “I had traveled to Punjab, but due to the heavy rains, I couldn’t accomplish much. Considering the circumstances, I thought it was best to come back to Mumbai, so I returned on Monday night.”
Fortunately, our house is not located near the riverfront. However, continuous rainfall has raised concerns. The structure of our house has been affected by water seepage. Even many old wooden houses have faced similar issues. I also have relatives living in Shimla, where the situation is equally distressing.
