Ruhaniyaat (Segment 111)

His point of view –
I had planned a surprise baby shower for my baby.
She only knew about the naming ceremony and not the baby shower.
“I am not wearing that heavy dress..” she complained.
“Why baby..? You look so pretty in it.” I complimented..
“But its so freaking hot..” she whined and settled for a okay okay dress..
Its not that she was not looking beautiful ..she looks beautiful in anything and everything she wears but..the dress was too plain.
“Love please wear it ..” i tried my best puppy dog face but she wouldn’t budge.
“I am not wearing it…end of discussion..” she said and went down to fetch herself a snack.

The pregnancy hormones were begining to kick in and she was getting hungrier..angrier everyday..
I had to keep ny calm..it was only a matter of a few more months ..then we shall be promoted..
I will have to share my Pie then.
The thought makes me exited..me being a dad …Pie being a mom..
“Hello..” i answered my ringing phone .
“All set…u can get Bhabhi..” said my sister from the other end.
She has been seeming a bit off these days ..ever since Pie ‘s accident but she isn’t ready to open up..

I wonder what’s the matter with her..
I hope Big-B is treating her well..
“Babe lets go..” i called out to Pie who was munching on biscuits ..
“But i am still hungry” she pouted.
“Love i am sure John and bhabhi will feed you at the naming ceremony ” i joked.
“Very funny ” and she walked out of the kitchen leaving a half eaten biscuit on the counter ..
I eyed the biscuit for a minute and then gobbled it down..
Akhir jhutha khane se pyar badhta hai..
His best friend’s point of view-
I was watching my princess sleep and i just can’t get over the fact that she is finally born in front of me…

When baby was pregnant i always pictured that when she gives birth then things will turn out in certain way ..
But this is not as per my expectation but above it..
“Daddy.. ” came in my twins.
“Shh she is asleep..” i shushed them but they wouldn’t stay quiet.
Having toddlers and a new born in the same house is so difficult.
“Can we touch .?” Enquired my boy.
“We have to wash our hands first..she is a baby..” explained my daughter..
She is so much like her mother at times..

Not only in looks but also in behaviour.
I watched as the twins watched hands and then gently held the baby’s hands.
“I guess we are doing a fine job .” Mummered my wife beside me..
“Yes bubba.. i am so thankful to you for giving me such a beautiful family..” i said and kissed her hair..
“Thank you for falling in love with me..” she said and kissed my neck…
I sucked in my breath ..this female right here knew how to get me hot and bothered.
Her best friend’s point of view –

I was driving my to the venue of the baby shower and i kept braking every few minutes.
Every since i found out that bhaiya was involved in the whole hating the doll thing i had lost trust..
Had lost trust in people in myself .
I was in self doubt over a lot of things..

It was my brother and i never came to know.
Will i be able to trust someone ever again..?
I was not able to face Doll anymore.?
Heck i couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror in the morning.
“Abe sale thik se chala na..” someone yelled.
I had yet again braked my car that into the middle of the street.
Self doubt was killing me inside..

self doubt is slow poison
it kills you, your confidence slowly yet painfully
you start to doubt people and things around you.
basic actions such as walking and driving are questioned by your brain.
you wonder wether you said the correct thing or took the correct turn
people taunts effect strongly than you anticipate and the doubt increases .
increases to the point that you declare yourself as a faileure in life and seek advice and help from people whom you consider superior to you..
self doubt is a clear route to death.
