Its time to welcome Ganpati in our homes and just like us, celebrities are also in full festive mode. Rupali Ganguly during a recent interview with ETimes TV shared how she is going to celebrate it this year on the sets of Anupamaa.
She said, “In DKP, all festivals are celebrated with full gusto. Be it Independence Day or any other festival all are celebrated with full enthusiasm. Coincidentally, we shot Janmashtami on that day, we shot Holi on the day of Holi, and we shot Diwali on the festival day, so we get to celebrate and shoot on exact muhurat. We are going to celebrate Ganpati on the sets of Anupamaa for 3 consecutive years. On every set of DKP, Ganpati is celebrated. In the first year in 2020, Ganpati was brought for one and half days. That time, I had said to celebrate Ganpati for 10 days. I don’t know if Rajan ji heard me, or he thought of himself, next year we had Ganpati for 10 days. For us, we feel like we are shooting in a pandal. We do aarti, we distribute bhog and Prasad, we sing arati. It has such a festive atmosphere and vibe. There’s a lot of happiness and a sense of camaraderie between everybody. We are all Anupamaa waale. This year too, we will celebrate in full festive spirit. Even the dogs on the set take part in the procession.”
Rupali added, “I bring Ganpati in my home and I also celebrate on the sets. The set is more home to me as I spend more time here. This is my home. I take leave, do puja at home and come to sets as well. Mere dono ghar me Ganpati arahe hai. Thanks to the production house for keeping the spirit alive and we don’t feel like we are missing anything.”
Talking about the current track of Anupamaa, Kinjal has given birth to a baby girl and the entire family is in a celebratory mood.
