Though Sanskar has asked her not to bother for anything but Ragini still can’t stop herself from not doing anything for him. But she don’t know what should she do for him.
“Inho ne to keh diya that I don’t have to bother for anything but it’s my duty as a wife to take care of his daily needs. Movies me bhi to yahi hota hai. But what should I do for him. Babaji Pls aap hi kuch help karo” she said while looking upwards. Suddenly an idea struck in her mind.
She goes towards Sanskar’s cupboard and opens it. She started looking through his clothes though not sure how would Sanskar react to this act of her. After searching for whole 15 mins. She finally takes out a blue shirt. She don’t know why but she felt that this color will look good on him. She smiled at the thought and then takes out his waist coat and trousers. She searches for the tie that would complement with his suit and then places it all on the bed nicely. She looked for his wallet; handkerchief and watch from the drawer and places it near his clothes.
After placing everything she took a deep breath and gave a scrutinize gaze to everything making sure that she haven’t forget everything. She had seen her Badi Maa often doing this for her Bade Papa and when she has asked the reason behind this then her Badi Maa told her that its the duty of every wife to take care of daily needs of her husband and moreover like this Love between the two increases too. Ragini sighed at the thought ‘Love’. This was something that can never happen between them and the irony is that she knows this fact before committing for this marriage but for one thing she’ll make sure that she’ll never back out from the duties that she had to perform as a wife.
She knows this is not what she dreamt of but then it’s not necessary that Life always gives us what we dreamt of so it’s better to accept the events that happen in your life who knows that something really good has been stored in it. She smiled slyly at her own thought and then goes out from the room to giving a last look to his things.
After a while Sanskar came out from shower and moves straight away towards his cupboard to take out his clothes wen his gaze fells on bed where his clothes and other belongings are placed nicely. He frowned and then realizes who could have done that none other than Ragini. No matter how many times he tells her for not bothering for such things but when she is adamants to do something then no one can stop her so it’s better if he left the thing the way it is.
He looked at the clothes and smiled seeing her choice of clothes. It’s not that he don’t wear Blue color but only sometimes but he don’t have heart to reject her choice and try any other shirt. Already a big injustice has been done with her by binding her in this Loveless Marriage, according to him. Now least he can do is to let her do those things which can make her happy. He looked at clothes once again and smiled remembering Swara. Swara too use to arrange his clothes like this only. No wonder Ragini is replica of Swara to an extent yet he can’t give her that place to her which he had for Swara and this fact was making him feel more guilty.
But at the end of the day he can’t do anything in front of their fate. If fate has bind them together then the same fate will help them to accept this reality for the lifetime. And as for now all he can do is to try to reduce this awkwardness between them. He took a deep breath and started getting ready for his office.

Here downstairs Ragini went straight away to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone. She knows that Sanskar had asked her from not doing all this yet she can’t stop herself from doing something for him and his family which is now hers too. Thinking this she entered in the kitchen only to be greeted by Nakul who was preparing for everyone’s breakfast.
“Good morning Nakul.” She greeted him with a smile on her face and then takes a utensil and started pouring water in it
“What r u doing Ma’am” Nakul Asked when he saw Ragini boiling water on gas.
Ragini: I’m making Coffee for him
“Him? For whom?” Nakul asked confused not able to understand which “him” she was referring to
“For him Nakul” Ragini tried to make him understand that she was making coffee for Sanskar without taking his name but Nakul was not able to understand
“R u making Coffee for Laksh baba?” he asked in order to clear his doubt
“Now how do I make him understand” she thought and then turned to Nakul”Nakul I’m making coffee for him” she tried once again to make him understand but Nakul got even more confused now
“Nakul she’s making coffee for Sanskar” Anuparma said while entering in kitchen along with Uttara and Kavya, wife of Sanskar’s younger brother Nikhil
“Good Morning maa” Ragini said while touching her feet taking blessings from her.
“Good Morning Beta. God Bless you. U got up so early today?” Ap Asked while patting her head
Ragini: Wo I wanted to make breakfast for everyone and coffee for him
AP: hhmmm so u r making coffee for Sanskar. But beta he likes…..
“Black Coffee with one cube of sugar” Ragini intervened in between surprising Anuparma
“Arey Waah aap ko to pehle se pata hai Sanskar ki choice” Anu said with a smile [wow thats good! u already knew Sanskar’s choice]
“Ya obviously After all Ragini is Ghar me koi nayi thodi na hai that she have any problem in knowing Sanskar Bhai’s choice. Initially she use to come as Swara’s sister and now she’s here as Sanskar Bhai’s wife in place of Swara” kavya said bitterly before Ragini could answer making her teary.
Kavya always had unknown hate towards Ragini. She never likes Ragini or Swara’s presence in MM. yet she behaved quiet nice with Swara as she usually goes to base for her duties and hardly spends time with them but Ragini always use to come at MM even at swara’s absence and Kavya hate the Love Whole Family showers on Ragini including her husband Nikhil. She always envied Ragini and now when Ragini is here as Badi Bahu of Maheshwari’s then she just can’t digest this fact.
“Kavya” AP said in a stern voice to make her shut her mouth.
“Don’t forget that Ragini is now Badi Bahu of this house and u should address her as Bhabhi now and not as Ragini” she said giving kavya a piece of mind while kavya just fumed in anger and storms out in anger and AP just sighed at the behavior of her younger Daughter-in-Law.
“Ragini don’t feel bad for kavya’s words. She just speaks before thinking anything” AP said while trying to comfort Ragini.
“It’s ok maa I didn’t feel bad” Ragini replied with a smile on her face
“You are really nice beta. Acha if you want any help regarding the everyone’s choice of breakfast then ask to Nakul. He’ll help u.” she said with a smile to which Ragini just nodded and AP left leaving Ragini and Uttara alone.
Ragini started preparing coffee for Sanskar but her mind just wanders on kavya’s word and she felt teary remembering Swara. It was true that she was not new to MM yet kavya’s words hurt her a lot. She doesn’t want anyone to feel that she’s here to take Swara’s place because she knows that she can’t. Uttara watched the change of expressions on her face and instantly understands the turmoil goes inside her heart.
“Oho Ragini! Tum ab bhi kavya Bhabhi ki baat ko leke upset ho. Maa ne kaha na that she just speaks before thinking. Itna mat socho” Uttara said while trying to cheer her up.
“No Uttara it’s not like that. I’m not at all upset” Ragini said with a smile trying to hide her tears
“C’mon Ragini don’t hide from me at least. We were good friends before your marriage with Sanskar Bhai (she paused for a while and then continued) Ragini I know that there’s a sudden change in every relationship that u had with all of us especially of yours and Bhai’s but just leave everything on time and everything will be fine. Trust me. You just be like what you were before”She said while holding Ragini’s hand in hers
“OMG Uttara since when u had started talking so mature” Ragini asked trying to light up d atmosphere
“Wo Shahrukh ki movie me ye dialogue suna tha. Yaha fit ho raha tha to bol diya” she said and winked at her and they both started laughing. After a while Uttara suppressed her laugh and continued
“ok jokes apart but make one thing clear in your mind that I’m not going to call u Bhabhi and all ha becoz u were my friend and will always be.” Annie said while pouting
Ragini: Don’t worry u don’t have to call me Bhabhi. I am much more comfortable with u taking my name.
Uttara: that’s good Acha Ragini now u should go and give bro his coffee first or else he’ll get hell angry on poor Nakul.
Ragini nodded and pours the coffee in a mug and headed towards Sanskar’s room to give him his coffee.

When Ragini reached to their room she saw Sanskar getting ready for office. Though technically it was their first day after marriage and he was supposed to go with her to her home for Pagphere and here he’s getting ready for his office but Ragini don’t want to bother him for anything. She even don’t know whether she had any kind of right in there relationship or not so it’s better if she gives him his space and not interfere in his private life. Thinking this she silently went inside their room and placed the Coffee mug on the nearby table. Sanskar had his back towards her and she thought that she’ll quickly leave after placing the mug but the tinkling sound of her anklets grabbed his attention and he turned to look at her.
“Wo appki Coffee” Ragini said as soon as she saw him turning towards her and that’s when she realized that he was wearing the same shirt that she had selected for him.
She don’t know why but she felt an unknown happiness in her heart to see him wearing her choice of shirt. She thought that maybe he’ll not like it if she places his clothes and all but seeing him wearing her choice of clothes cleared all her doubts. She was lost in her thoughts when she saw the top 3 buttons of his shirt was open revealing a part of his well-toned chest. Ragini kept looking at his muscular Body for a while. His muscles which were bulging from his Shirt, his well-toned V-shaped chest that was revealing from his shirt, the beard on his face everything was giving him a macho look. She immediately looked away when she realized that she was staring at him and that too in front of him.
Sanskar was watching the change in her facial expressions from the she entered inside room. She saw her getting startled when he had turned to look at her and then that slight smile on her face when she saw him wearing her choice of clothes. He was happy to see her smile and thanked God many time for not letting him change his mind and wearing the shirt she has selected for him at least like this way she smiled and least he can do is to give her enough happiness in this relationship which was in his hands and then he saw her staring at him which was not new to him. He knows his effect on Girls but what he didn’t know that Ragini can to get affected by him who had always teased him for his macho look and then he saw her getting embarrassed and he understands that she realized that she was looking at him and not wanting to embarrass her further he decided to break this silence.
“Wo Actually the button of my Shirt has broken and I was trying to fix it up” he clarified as if trying to clear y the top 3 buttons of his shirt was open.
“Should I help u?” Ragini asked innocently and Sanskar just couldn’t refused her so he nodded his head in approval.
Ragini goes near him and takes needle and thread from him and started to sew his button while trying her best to not to look at his bare chest again. She whacked herself mentally for gaping so openly at him especially then when she knows that he might not like it. She shrugged off all her thoughts from her mind and continued to sew the button. Sanskar looked at her while she was sewing the button. She was looking so innocent while sewing it. She is performing every duty of her part without expecting anything from him. God knows from where she get this much understanding. He had never thought when he met her first that there will be a time when he can see her this side also which is so mature and understanding. He had always seen her chirpy and bubbly side and now he wonders what more he had to see about her.
“U know how to sew Button?” he asked trying to reduce the awkward silence between them
“Badi Maa se sikhaya tha. She said that every girl needs to know these basic things” [Badi Maa had taught me] Ragin replied calmly while sewing the button.
Another round of silence prevailed between them and Sanskar don’t know what should he say further. It was strange initially they don’t need any reason to initiate the conversation and now they don’t know about what they should converse. While sewing The button kavya’s words came in Ragini’s mind and unknown to herself her eyes started to begin teary but she tried her best to hold back her tears which didn’t go unnoticed by Sanskar. He saw trying to hold back her tears but didn’t know the reason behind it. He wanted to ask her the reason of her sadness but before he could ask something he saw her leaning towards him and his words got struck in his throat
Ragini had done with sewing the button and she leaned down to cut the threat from her teeth. Sanskar felt her warm breath on his chest and it took every fiber of his body to gain control on himself. There was a sudden urge in him to hold her close in his arms and keeps her safe from all those things which brings tears in her eyes. It was weird that he was feeling something like this for a girl who was just his deceased wife’s sister till yesterday and now his wife. He don’t want to feel all this for her neither he wanted to give her any false hope but what should he do feelings that was all of a sudden aroused in him out of nowhere.
Unknown to the havoc created in Sanskar’s heart and body Ragini cuts away the thread and keeps the needle and remaining thread aside and looked at him only to find him lost somewhere. She thought maybe he’s remembering Swara so she decided not to break his chain of thoughts and turns to leave when Sanskar holds her wrist stopping her from leaving. Ragini’s breath got hitched in her throat when he stopped her from going. She didn’t understand why did he stopped her from going and before she could understand anything she found him turning her towards him by holding her shoulders.
Ragini had her head dipped down in order to hide her tears and Sanskar slowly lifted her chin up so that she can meet up his eyes. Sanskar saw the tears in her eyes which she was trying to hold back and now understand clearly that something is really bothering her.
“What happen?” he asked her in a soft voice trying to know the turmoil of her heart
“Nothing the button has been fixed so I’m going back” she said in a low voice not wanting him to know what’s going in her heart.
“I’m not asking about that. I’m asking why u are sad? Why there are tears in your eyes?” he asked while boaring his eyes into hers
“Nahi aisa kuch bhi nahi hai. I’m not at all sad” [no its nothing like that] She said while putting a fake smile on her face but Sanskar was just not ready to let it go
“Ragini Do you know something? U don’t know how to lie then why are you trying to do that. And moreover no matter how hard u try to say lie but your eyes says everything thats there in your heart and here they are speaking more than required” he said while wiping away the tears that has been formed at the corner of her eye. Ragini just looked at him in awe thinking how well he understands her though without any strong feeling between them yet he understands what’s going in her heart.
“Ragini, Ghar ki yaad aa rahi hai” he asked bringing her back from her reverie
“Nahi…. wo…” she fumbled with her words and Sanskar clearly understands her hesitation. He smiles inwardly seeing her like that. she never hesitated before saying something and now. *sigh*
“Ragini I know the circumstances in which we got married, it’s not easy for any of us to accept this change so soon and especially for u whose dreams were totally different. U must be missing Ur Home and especially Ur Di (he paused for a while and then continued) I know I can’t fill that void in Ur life, none of us can and the relationship we are sharing now I know it’s hard for u to be frank with me like before. I know our marriage is a compromise but Ragini none of us can’t deny this fact that we were very much friendly before this so with that relationship u an still tell me anytime anywhere whatever is bothering you. As a friend I’ll be always there for you. I know from now on people will see u as taking Swara’s place in our lives and maybe this can hurt you but we both know what’s the truth is and why we are in this relationship so never pay any attention to any of them who compare u with Swara. You understand what I’m saying” He asked while wiping away the tears that has been welled up in her eyes and Ragini just nodded innocently.
“So now don’t cry and never hide your problems from me. Ragini I can’t see u in tears ever” he said with concern surprised from his own choice of words. Yes he cares for her no doubt but he had never expressed it in this way
“I mean no one in this house can see u in tears. u are important or everyone so never consider yourself Different from any other member of this house moreover I had promised Swara that I’ll always take care of you so……” he said while trying to cover up what he said earlier and left his sentence midway to make her understand in her own way what he wants to say.
Ragini just keep looking at him with amazement. How easily he had made her feel better. Ya it’s true that their relationship is not like others. Their Marriage is a compromise but he said that he’ll always be there for her as a friend and that was enough for her. She had never expected anything from him for this marriage yet he’s trying his best to keep her happy and comfortable in their relationship and that’s really a big thing for her.
“I Promise that I’ll never hide my worries from you” Ragini said after a long silence with a smile on her face.
[Saghi jumping out of nowhere “Oye What about Coffee? Haven’t it get cold by now ]
“Good I always want this smile on ur face. This is the least we can do in our relationship right?”
“Right” she said with a smile and turned to leave and Sanskar also started to get ready. Just then Ragini’s gaze falls on the table where his coffee was placed and thats when she realized that he didn’t had his coffee till now and she knows how much particular he’s about everything
“Suniye” she said softly and Sanskar just instantly stopped buttoning his shirt listening to her addressing. It’s strange that this is the third time from last night she’s addressing him like that yet he feels something different Every time. Shrugging off all his thoughts he instantly turned to look at her
“Wo… Aapki Coffee thandi ho gayi hai, main doosri lekar aati hoon” she said understanding his questioning gaze while lifting his coffee mug from the table
[Me thinking “Badi Jaldi yaad aa gaya”]
“No need Ragini, I’m coming downstairs for breakfast in a while so will have my coffee over there only, hhmmm” he said while stopping her from going
“But you are always punctual in everything and because of me your schedule has been disturbed” she said while feeling guilty
“Ragini it’s not your fault. And if we see then because of me Ur schedule too gets disturbed, I mean u were going downstairs after placing my coffee but u had to stay over here for my button so u see its balanced” he said with a smile while Ragini just looks at him in surprise. As far as she knows him he had never made compromise with his schedule so was he doing this because of her. She was about to say something when she heard AP calling her from downstairs
“Ragini u go now. I’ll join u in the breakfast after a while” he said and turned to get ready for office while Ragini too turned to leave giving a last glance to him.

At the breakfast table every member of MM including kavya too but she had been specially advised by AP to not to speak anything non sense so she was just sitting over there with an annoyed face. Since it was first day of Ragini at MM after marriage so she had especially made everyone’s favorite food for breakfast. Though AP had stopped her a lot yet she prepared the breakfast with the help of Uttara who tells her about everyone’s choice. After a while when Sanskar came then everyone had started having Breakfast. AP had purposely haven’t told anyone that Ragini had made the breakfast as she wanted to know everyone’s reaction.
Everyone liked the food prepared by her especially Sanskar who had found different taste in the food today. He don’t know why today his Pasta tastes different when Nakul makes the same thing every day. Before he could say something Laksh spoke in between.
“Bhai Waah kya breakfast hai aaj. Ek to mere Favorite Kande Pohe and Uspar se itna tasty Yaar Nakul aaj to tere haathon ko kiss karne ka mann kar raha hai” Laksh said while relishing the food while everyone laughed at the table and Sanskar just shakes his head in disbelief. [Wow! what a breakfast first of all it’s my favorite Kande Pohe and on top of hat so tasty yaar nakul I just want to kiss your hands today]
“Laksh its good that u like the food but credit goes to someone else and not Nakul” AP said while eyeing Ragini
“What? Ye Nakul ne nahi banaya hai? Don’t tell me maa ki is Bandariya ne aaj breakfast banaya hai.” He said while eyeing Uttara who was sitting next to him.
“Oye Bandar! Behave yourself or else……” she couldn’t complete herself as maa interrupted
“Laksh! Uttara stop it you two. And Laksh for your kind information today’s Breakfast has been prepared by Ragini.” AP said before they could start their third World War.
Sanskar almost chocked with his Pasta when he heard that Ragini had prepared this. That’s why it tastes different today. But what he didn’t understand that ohw come by now he didn’t know that Ragini can cook too and that too so good. Before he could say something Laksh again spoke in between
“What? Ragini… oh I mean Ragini Bhabhi has prepared all this. OMG! I did not know that she can cook so well. Bhabhi where are Ur hands I really want to kiss them now” Laksh said while looking at Ragini.
Sanskar who was smiling till now listening to Ragini’s praise gives an angry glare to Him and he just gulped his saliva in fear seeing his deadly glare while kavya just shakes her head annoyingly seeing so much drama over simple breakfast. Her jealousy for Ragini had doubled now hearing so much appreciation for her
“Oh I’m sorry I forgot that I can’t do that now, but bhai can do it haan na bhai why don’t u kiss Bhabhi’s hands. I’m sure u too had loved the pasta prepared by her” he said and Sanskar choked with his food while Ragini had almost spilled the water that she was pouring in the glass listening to him.
They looked each other’s flushed faces not sure how to react to this situation. They have to present themselves as a happy couple to rest of the family but this is something they can’t do and cherry on top Laksh is continuously pestering them for that. No matter it’s just a simple kiss and that too on hands but Sanskar knows that Ragini won’t feel comfortable with it nor do he. He looked at her and was thinking of any way to escape when his cell phone rang and he sighed in relief and thanked Kunal (his employee) mentally for his timing. He excused himself and takes the call and Ragini sighed in relief
It took Sanskar sometime to finish the call and when he came back the kiss slips from Laksh’s mind and they had there rest of breakfast peacefully. Sanskar silently appreciated through his eyes Ragini for the breakfast to which she accepted by giving a smile which didn’t go unnoticed by AP and she smiled inwardly praying that soon they accept each other fully and without any compromise.
After Breakfast Sanskar gets up from table and started heading towards outside. Everyone thought that he’s leaving for office when he had to take Ragini for her Pagphere. They wanted to stop him but none had courage to talk to him. Amidst of all this Ragini was sitting relaxed because she knows she don’t have right to expect anything like that from him. AP was about to stop him when he himself stopped in his tracks and turned to look at them
“Ragini get ready fast. We have to go to your house for Ur Pagphere. I am waiting for u at hall.” He said and headed towards hall leaving everyone behind bewildered and Ragini had almost choked with her juice.
It took Ragini sometime to register what he had just said. This he just asked her to get ready and he’s taking her to her home when he was supposed to go to office, she thought. And as the realization hits her that he was actually getting ready for taking her to her home automatically a smile adorned on her lips seeing his concern towards her. Once again he had made her believe that he’ll care for her for whole of the lifetime as he promised.
Ok so this is it guys! Hope u all gonna like this part… Pls feel free to criticize if u all don’t like dis part I’m really not sure for this part but just wanted to say that I just need to make some base for Ragsan before showing their Love story so pls do tell me about your views for this…

Sanskar Maheshwari: MD of Maheshwari’s construction. Deeply in Love with his Love come wife Swara and was happily married to her until the cruel game of destiny separates them for forever..
Swara maheshwari: Flight Lt. swara mehra who is in Love with Business tycoon sanskar maheshwari and happily married to him but a twist of fate and she left him and this world forever. Cousin sister of Ragini who loves her to the core.
Ragini Mehra/ Meheshwari: A Dreamy girl who always sees dream of her prince charming who’ll be as romantic as Ranbir Kapoor… Loving sister of Swara and apple of everyone’s eyes. Her parents died when she was 2 years old and since then she lives with swara and her parents who loves her to the core… Ragini’s best friend is her Swara Di and for her she can do anything… for her happiness she married Sanskar as per her last wish sacrificing all her dreams for her Di but then didn’t even realize that when did she fallen in Love with Sanskar and when he became her actual prince charming.
Shekhar Mehra: Ragini’s Loving Bade Papa and Swara’s father, retired Captain of air force
Sumi Mehra: Ragini’s Loving Badi Maa and Swara’s mother… Loves ragini to the core but be stern with her at times just like a typical mother but she never differentiate between swara and ragini..
Anuparma Maheshwari: Sansakar’s mother and head of the family (her husband died in accident) Sweet and lovely lady. Loves all her children but sanskar more.
Nikhil Maheshwari: Younger brother of sanskar. Good at heart and always admires his elder brother, Married to kavya.
Kavya Maheshwari: Wife of Nikhil A cunning and envious Lady who just want power, luxury and money. Jealous of Ragini as she gets more attention in house
Laksh Maheshwari: younger brother of Sanskar and nikhil and twin brother of Uttara. Cheerful, jovial, loving, caring, funny, witty all at the same time… always loggerheads with Uttara. In Love with Heer, Ragini’s best friend..
Uttara Maheshwari (played by Kanchi Singh): Sanskar’s younger sister and life of Maheshwari’s house. Good friend of Ragini and always hell bent on teasing His brother Laksh.
Heer Kapoor (played by Mouni Roy): Best friend of Ragini and knows her inside out and always been with her through thick and thin… in Love with Laksh deeply
Sahil Shekhawat: Captain of Indian Air Force. Sanskar’s best friend since childhood and obsessively in Love with ragini and proposes her but Ragini had always seen him as her good friend and before Ragini could think of his proposal she’s married to Sanskar and now sahilt thinks that she betrayed him for money.
