Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame Vishal Singh on his return to the small screen

Vishal Singh, who rose to fame with his stint as Jigar Modi in the show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (SNS) wants to return to TV. The actor who was last seen in SNS quit the show in 2016. In a recent interview with BT, Vishal talked about the kind of project he would like to make a return with.

He says, “I am being offered the same concepts revolving around two heroes and one heroine, aur pyaar ho gaya. I have spent half my youth working in such shows and I want to do something different now. I want to take up a daily soap, in which I am seen in a never-seen-before avatar. I am shooting for two web films and I am playing a negative character in one.”

When asked if he fears being forgotten following a long break, Vishal says, “Of course, the fear has been there and it’s been a long break though unintentional. However, fortunately, people continue to give me the same amount of love, which is encouraging. But I don’t want to take advantage of it by delaying my comeback or else they will forget me. I like being in front of the camera. So, I am desperate to return to TV, but with an interesting concept.”

Vishal was recently seen as a challenger in Bigg Boss 15. Talking about the experience he shares, “I am a huge fan of Bigg Boss. So, to just enter the house, hear Bigg Boss’ voice and wear the mic felt like an achievement. I have always maintained that though I can’t be a part of a whole season, I don’t mind entering the house for a brief stay. I am not mentally as strong as one should be for a show like this.”
