some time had passed since Gaura had came back in the Suryavanshi mansion. No one in the family knew about her union with Chanda and no one had an idea about the nightmare coming their way. Chanda felt happy on Gaura’s care. She could not stop thinking about the promises Gaura had made to her. How when she gets back the mansion, Chanda will get rich as well.
but her daydreaming would suddenly come to an end. One day, Chanda realized that after every plan of Gaura, she would always pay the prize. She was still pregnant with Meera’s twins and she couldn’t do much at this point. But anyway, she decided to reveal her true feelings in front of Gaura, once and for all.
one morning Gaura decided to check up on her and see how she is doing. Upon entering her room, she noticed Chanda didn’t look satisfied at all.
:Chanda, what’s going on? You look disappointed. I don’t think you have a reason to feel that way. Soon you will get everything I promised you.”
“you better stop lying to me, maasi!” Chanda replied. :None of the things you said happened. Dharam is with me only because of the sindoor I’m wearing. He actually prefers Meera over me. You said you will change that. You said I’ll be the queen here, but none of this is happening! every time when you think of a plan against Meera Vidya, I’m the one who’s punished afterwards! But the mistake is mine. I didn’t have to believe you. What can you do in this wheelchair at all?”
“I may be using a wheelchair, but my brain is working better than ever before. You better watch your words. Until you give birth, you are forced to stay here. Do not even try to run away. I won’t like a sudden change of the game rules, understand?”
“if you don’t give me what is mine, I’m going to reveal your lies to the family!”
“I know you know better than that , Chanda. You are not going to do that. Who will believe you anyway?”
“Vidya will take my words seriously. Don’t test me, maasi.”
a few hours passed. Chanda thought hard on what to do from now on. The family treated her like a prisoner because of her pregnancy. Meera was afraid she would try to run away with the children. She couldn’t let this happen.
But Chanda felt she couldn’t take this anymore. She made a plan to escape the coming night.
she waited, and waited, and waited. When the whole house fell into silence, she finally decided to go on with her plan.
Chanda left her room and walked as quietly as she could. It was dark and she was being careful. She didn’t dare to turn on the light, she didn’t want to get someone’s attention.
Chanda took more few steps and stopped in front of the stairs. She suddenly felt a presence behind her. She turned around and saw Gaura in her wheelchair.
“didn’t I tell you not to try to run away?” She said. “You did a big mistake, Chanda. A very big one!”
:You can’t treat me like a prisoner!” She replied. “I am not staying here any longer. But hey, why am I talking to you at all? You can’t do nothing. You can only threaten me. You are powerless in the condition you are in! Try to catch me if you can. Would you?”
“Do you really want to see. How easy would be for me to catch you?”
“Go on then.”
Gaura got up from the wheelchair and ran towards Chanda. She did not expect that and seeing Gaura standing up on her feet scared her a lot. She completely forgot about the stairs in front of her and in an attempt to get away from Gaura, she ran forward and fell down.
she felt an unbearable pain upon falling. It was obvious that the babies she carried were now at risk. But Gaura couldn’t care more about Chanda’s pains. She needed to act fast if she wanted to go on with her game.
“Dharam, Shravan, Meera, Vidya, come here!” She shouted. “Chanda tried to run away, she wants to get away!”
In less than a minute the whole family appeared. Upon seeing Chanda in the condition she was in, Meera got very worried.
“Chanda, what happened?” She asked. “What if something happens with my children? Baaji, please tell us what happened?”
“I heard a noise outside my room and decided to check what was going on. When I left, I saw Chanda heading for the stairs. I confronted her, saying she couldn’t leave us yet, but she pushed me and continued on her way. I tried to stop her but she fell. Ambe maa, please take care of these innocent children she carries!”
“We must take her to the hospital!” Dharam added. “Come on, we need to hurry!”
20 minutes later. It turned out that Chanda had to give birth to the babies earlier than planned. Her condition was still bad, but the children were fine. Chandra though had to stay in the hospital for some time and the doctors said she would recover.
Gaura got worried hearing this news. She knew that if Chanda ever woke up, her game would be over. She had to do something before it’s too late.
