Police reaches Kumar’s den to arrest Anant and finds him escaped already. Gehna confronts Kumar and says that she will save everyone here. Kumar says she will ask bomb remote next, so he will not reveal anything and will escape the country in chopper soon. She challenges him to wait and watch what she can do. He hits her head with iron rod, and she falls down unconscious. Anant runs on road and requests auto driver to drop him to diwali celebration venue. Driver identifies him as a terrorist and drives auto away. Anant pulls him out and himself drives auto away. Gehna wakes up and before Kumar could reach auditorium hits his head with same iron rod. He falls down injured. She tries to pick bomb remote, but he picks it before her and between their tussle, she presses remote
Gehna runs into auditorium and seeing minister heading on stage to unveil lantern over lamp rushes to stop lantern from reaching down. She jumps and hangs hangs in air holding lantern rope. Police protect minister and point gun at Gehna. Kumar thinks bombs will blast in a few minutes and walks away laughing. People panic and ask who is this woman who is hanging holding lantern rope. Gehna reveals there are bombs in lantern and lamp and will explode once lantern and lamp strike. Police doesn’t trust her. Constable calls bomb squad who find out bombs and reveal that bombs will blast in 9 minutes. People try to escape, but Kumar’s goons stop them and make them hostages.
Kumar gets into auto and asks him to take him airport, but after noticing Anant jumps out of it. Anant fights with him and beats him for killing Srivastav, troubling his family and Gehna, and playing with his country and its citizens’ lives. Kumar pulls knife and tries to stab him. Desai family panic seeing Gehna in auditorium. Police assures guests not to worry as they can deactivate bombs once they find remote. Anant drags Kumar in. Police finds remote, bomb squad tries to deactivate bombs and inform its password protected. Anant insists Kumar to reveal password. Kumar denies and says he will not waste his years of hard work and accepts all his crimes. Anant trashes him and forces him to add password into remote. Kumar adds 7 digits and forgets 1. Anant insists. Kumar enters last digit just before time ends.
