Hiral and Hema try to fix toran/flower garland on main entrance of house. Hema drops it by mistake. Panditji informs Baa that toran shouldn’t fall down or else its abshagun/inauspicious. He asks if she is performing pooja for her son and DIL’s happy life, pooja should be performed on time between 5 and 6 p.m. and there shouldn’t be any abshagun. She agrees and heads to temple for prayers. Gehna notices Swara’s house burning. Mob gathers, and a man says fire brigade is stuck in traffic. She drapes a blanket over her and enters house dropping her mobile outside by mistake. Swara and her mother panic seeing fire. Gehna tries to set off fire with blanket. Baa calls Gehna and gets tensed when she doesn’t pick call. Pandit says if pooja muhurath ends,
Gehna rescues Swara and her mother and brings them out of house. Baa eagerly waits for Gehna and tells Bapuji that if this pooja doesn’t happen, it will never happen again. Pandit says its already 5:20 p.m. and muhurat’s time ends at 6 p.m. Anant calls Gehna and thinks she is not picking call. Hema says Gehna knows about pooja and must be stuck in some important work. Swara comforts her mother and says they built this house with their hard work and lost it. Mother remembers leaving her trunk inside and tries to go back in. Gehna stops her, herself gets in, and picks trunk. It falls down. She puts back its stuff not looking at her father’s photo and gets it out. Swara thanks her for saving her mother’s memories. Gehna asks how did this fire accident happen. Swara says goons must have set fire. Gehna says they should be punished. Mother says Gehna helped them being a stranger and she feels connected to her. Neighbors question where will Swara and her mother stay now.
Anant gets worried for Gehna and says he will go and get her. Gehna walks in with Swara and her mother. Swara slips and pulls down toran. Baa gets tensed seeing that. Hema says its a big abshagun with their entry. Swara apologizes. Anant asks Gehna why is she late. Gehna informs that goons burnt Swara’s house, so she brought them here. Goons walk in and say they came to take Swara for dance program. Mother says she cannot come today as she isn’t fine. Goons insist and try to drag her along. Gehna warns to leave Swara’s hand. Goon asks if she will dance instead. Anant warns to behave with his wife. Goon asks if he will compensate his loss. Anant pays him and sends goons out. Gehna tries to take Swara in. Baa stops her and says daughters and DILs stay in this house and she cannot let a dancer in her house, so they should leave. Gehna pleads to let them stay here as their house has got burnt and goons are behind her. Baa denies.
