Channels are leaving no stone unturned to bring the attention of the viewers to their shows. More and more twists and more and more popular faces bring the audience to the show and then the storyline grips them to stay. Many new shows are coming in too and we are very excited to know what the makers have in store for us. One of the new shows which is creating a buzz is Ranju Ki Betiyaan.
The show is said to be revolving around Ranju (Reena Kapoor) and her four daughters. While Roopal Tyagi has been roped in to play the second daughter, the rest of three daughters are yet to be cast.
The show has now roped in one of its two male leads in the form of actor Karan Khandelwal. The actor is best known for his roles in shows like Saath Nibhana Saathiya and Siddhi Vinayak among others. Khandelwal will be playing one of the two sons to actor Deepshikha Nagpal’s character.
The shoot is said to begin in the next four days and some of the initial few episodes are being planned at on outdoor location.
Confirming the same to Times of India, Khandelwal said, “I play Lucky and it’s quite an interesting character. He is from a royal family. He is a rich, spoilt brat. It’s going to be a challenging one because he is stubborn, while I am not like that in real life! So, it’s going to be fun and I am open to taking on the challenge.”
He added, “It’s a wonderful opportunity to be a part of a team with such experienced and respected actors. I am looking forward to start this journey and make memories for a lifetime, while I learn the details of the craft from my co-stars. The show itself is very heart-warming and I always wanted to be a part of such a strong story.”
