Saavi Ki Saavari fame Adish Vaidya Embraces Diversity: From Marathi Serials to Biopic Films
Actor Adish Vaidya, last seen on ‘Saavi Ki Saavari’ and gearing up for his Marathi film debut in ‘Swargandharv Sudhir Phadke,’ expresses his joy at joining the cast of the Marathi serial ‘Kavyanjali – Sakhi Savali.’ Playing the lead role as Pritam, an RJ and social media influencer, Adish shares his enthusiasm for exploring diverse opportunities and not limiting himself to any particular genre or language.
Reflecting on his upcoming biopic film in a recent interview, the actor remarks, “As an actor, I never wish to limit myself but keep exploring the opportunities coming across. I almost completed my shoots for my upcoming biopic film based on the life of the popular musician and singer Swargandharv Sudhir Phadke. He is well-known in Marathi cinema and has garnered a lot of love from people here. I will be playing him in the film, and it is an honor. I feel lucky to have got this opportunity.”
In his return to Marathi television after four years, Adish has taken on the role of Pritam in ‘Kavyanjali Sakhi Savali,’ replacing actor Prasad Jawade. Describing his character, he says, “He’s an RJ and a popular social media influencer. He’s famous among the youths. He’s fun-loving, and that’s how I am in my real life—positive and always in a happy mood. The show is a love story, and I’m excited to be part of this show as it is about how the best friends fall in love, and the story moves on.”
Adish emphasizes his openness to explore diverse roles, be it in Hindi or regional languages. Proud of his Marathi roots, he expresses his happiness about returning to Marathi TV while also expressing a keen interest in exploring other regional languages like Telugu and Punjabi in the future. Adish remains dedicated to taking on new challenges and entertaining his audience with his versatile performances.
Apart from ‘Saavi Ki Saavari,’ Adish Vaidya is known for his roles in shows like ‘Pushpa Impossible’ (2022) and ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’ (2020). He also made a wildcard entry in ‘Bigg Boss Marathi 3’ in 2021, showcasing his diverse talents.
