Recap – drunk sanskaar
The episode starts with the next day. Sanskaar gets up with a severe headache. He screams in pain but turns quiet when he sees arnav and abhay sitting across the room staring at him. He looks at them sheepishly. He recalls whatever happened last night.
Sanskaar : Arnav.. bhai… i’m sorry for last night. I didn’t wanted to disturb your evening… but…….
His head is still acing. The hangover was too much for him. It wasn’t like he was a regular drinker. Abhay brought lemonade for him and made him drink. He then went to get fresh. After what felt like a decade he came out. Abhay and arnav were still there. They had got breakfast or rather say lunch for him. Yep, it was 2 in the afternoon. Sanskaar was feeling guilty and ashamed.
Abhay : sanky.. bro relax it’s okay we understand…
Arnav : no need to take the load… everything will be fine…
Sanskaar nodded and ate his lunch. He was so hungry. Arnav and abhay smiled seeing him.
Aranv : sanky… i want.. actually we all want you and ragini to resolve your issues before going back…. ( sanskaar smiles faintly ) pooja has gone to call her… they’ll come soon…
Sanskaar nods. After about half an hour Pooja came there. Arnav looked behind her but she was alone. She nods her head.
Abhay : poo where is ragini??
Pooja : voh.. actually….. she has gone shopping with..
Arnav : with??
Sanskaar : with swara….
Pooja nods. They all sigh. Sanskaar gives a light laugh. All look at him. Pooja keeps her hand on his shoulder.
Pooja : bhai please… take care of yourself… this phase will also get over… trust your love…
Sanskaar : poo…. you are very good yaar…
He keeps his hand on her head. He goes to washroom.
Abhay : pooo did you talked to her last night??
Pooja : when i went to the room she was not there. I waited for her for 1 hour and even went back to hall she was no where… then i slept. In the morning also she was in hurry. She left without talking.
Arnav : what the hell is wrong with her? And what did she said now?
Pooja : she was already leaving when i reached her. She said we can talk after she is back. And then she left with swara…
Sanskaar listened to everything from inside. He just couldn’t believe his ears. Was this the same ragini who once told him that he was her family, his everything. He tried to find the loophole in their relationship[. Where he went wrong? Was he nothing in front of others? Was this his value in her life? Just a few days back she was fighting with swara for him and she doesn’t even care whether i’m alive or not?
His heart was broken into million pieces. He thinks, everytime i trust someone they show me why i shouldn’t. He washed his face and came out with a smile on his face. He didn’t wanted to bother his friends anymore. They had already done so much for him. He was broken but beautiful. tHey saw him with sympathy and pity which he hates the most.
Sanskaar : guys… what are we still doing here?? Common man…. it’s your last day as a bachelor.. uske baad to bus…
He keeps his arm around arnav’s neck and laughs. Everyone just looks at him. They knew he was too hurt.
Pooja : bhai…
Sanskaar : well… sorry pooja but you can’t come with us… this has to be a boys day and night out… it’s his bachelor’s party… no known girls allowed…. ( he tickles arnav, they all smile ) you go to khushi and enjoy your all girls boring partyyy…….
They understood he didn’t wanted to discuss anything right now.
Sanskaar : common lets pick up the other guys and goo….. wowhooooo
He pulls arnav with him. Abhay waits for them to go.
Abhay ; pooja relax.. we’ll take care of him. If you get any chance then talk to ragini.. otherwise don’t worry we’ll see what happens.. be with khushi and yess… enjoy your boring partyyy..
He imitates sanskaar to bring smile on her face. She smiles through her tears and hugs him. He kisses her forehead and leaves when sanskaar shouts his name. She goes to khushi’s room.

Its evening. Ragini and Swara returns with heavy shopping bags, laughing and smiling. They have got stuff for the gadodia’s and maheshwari’s. They go to AP’s room where everyone was sitting. They show them stuff. Everyone was so happy having ragini back and seeing swara back in her senses.
Dp excuses himself and goes out of the room. He is disturbed since last night. He thinks about what all he did wrong with sanskaar. He recalls his words.
“neither did he loved me nor did he let my papa love me”
He comes out in the palace’s garden. He walks around thinking about his moments with sanskaar from a – z. Then he recalls his broken condition of yesterday. He hasn’t seen him from the morning and is really worried about him. But what could he do or say. He felt so lost. He was drowning in his own guilt.
<DP’s POV >
Sanskaar beta i know i did very wrong for you. I promise you this time if you’ll come back i’ll not let you go away from me… i’ll give you all the love and happiness you deserve and which i snatched from you. I know i cant bring back those lost years but i can create new memories for you… i just want you to forgive me beta….. i know i was wrong. I’m so sorry.
He cries silently. Someone comes over and keeps his hand on his shoulder. He turns around. It was RP. He hugs him immediately. Rp consoles him. They sit on the bench.
Dp : ram… i know i’m a very bad person… a bad father, a bad brother, a bad husband…. i never realised i was taking your right of being a father… i kept you away from your son for so long. I’m very bad ram…. you can give me any punishment you want ram… i’ll accept it.. but please bring back my sanskaar our sanskaar ram…
He pleads. Ram cries with his elder brother. It was getting dark no one could see them. He hugged dp.
Rp : bhaisaab please control yourself… you know na bhabhi has talked to him.. and he has agreed to come back… he’ll come back to you bhaisaab give him some time… he’ll understand that you love him and we all love him… and bhaisaab, I understand your worries for the family and I know why you are like this but it’s time to change now… i know it’s difficult to change our mind set which we have created over the years but it is important
Dp : i understood, Ram…. but all this won’t matter if sanskaar doesn’t forgive me….
Rp : have trust on him, bhaisaab… he’ll forgive all of us for betraying him….. and he’ll happily come back… you know na he’s star of everyone’s eyes!! Suji and bhabhi won’t let him leave again…….
Dp ; no ram… you didn’t saw what i saw last night…. our sanskar is so broken…. he’s in pain ram.. my son is in pain and i cant do anything about it…….. i know somewhere i’m the reason behind it but ram…………. i… i don’t know what to do……….
Rp ; bhaisaab what happened/ did you talked to him?
Dp : no ram… he was drunk …. can you believe this? He was with his friends… he thinks i don’t love him, he was … he was talking about that girl… kavi.. kavita… and about some other girl, who .. who i don’t know what happened but he was devastated ram.
Ram thinks if it was about ragini? But she is happy. Then whats bothering sanskaar?
Rp : bhaisaab we’ll talk to him, don’t worry….. and it’s his friends wedding, he must have drank too much…. but please, you don’t lose yourself… we’ll find out solution for all his problems…. now it’s time we all become one family again….. right bhaisaab??
Dp : yes Ram. You’re right…. but first you tell me.. have you forgiven me?
Ram looks around. He was not sure what he should say because the truth was that only, dp was the reason why sanskaar had to suffer all this. But he also knew that dp has lived with that guilt over the years and was sorry for his doings.
Rp : you are my elder brother, bhaisaab…. who am i to forgive you.? And i’m sure even sanskaar will forget about all of this…. don’t worry bhaisaab……
Dp looked at his brother. Ram has always followed him like a shadow, no questions, no complaints. He had respected him like a father and now see who has shown badappan! Dp had tears in his eyes. Rp hugged him tightly.
He too knew dp never showed any emotions but he too was a human being, who at times felt weak but had no shoulder to lean on.
He takes dp inside with him. Dp rested for sometime. Ap was concerned about him but rp said he was fine just a little tired. Rp thinks to talk to ragini and ask her if she knows something. He asks ap about her, she tells him that all the kids ( adarsh, pari, swara, laksh, uttara and ragini ) have gone out and will come after having dinner. He nods and thinks why is not sanskaar with them.
Rp : bhabhi where is sanskaar then? Didn’t he went with them?
Sujata : voh swara said that he’s with his other friends ….
Ap thinks. ( everytime sanskaar’s name comes swara distracts everyone. Am i overthinking or she’s really upto something? )
Rp goes away from there. Later the dinner is served at the palace.

Ragini comes back to the palace with everyone. She was so happy. Pooja watches her from above and goes from there. The bachelorette party was going on in Khushi’s room with her few best friends. Pooja was also there but had come out to call abhay.
She comes back to the room and tells khushi that the guys are still in the party and ragini is back. Khushi assures her everything will be fine.
On the other hand, ragini comes back to her room. She recalls that she didn’t returned last night and in the morning also, she didn’t talked to pooja properly. She wonders where she is, this late. She changes her clothes and lies down. But sleep is nowhere near her eyes.
She gets up and sits. She fondles over her phone and sees stories of party on abhay’s social media handle. She sees drunk sanskaar dancing on the bar table. She’s shocked to see him like that.
Ragini : what is sansku doing? Is he drunk? Oh God….
She feels agitated. She goes out to find pooja. She wanted answers to her questions. After sometime she finally reaches khushi’s room hearing loud music and shouting. She knocks the door but no one hears bcoz of the loud noise. She opens the door herself and is shocked to see girls boozing and dancing in matching PJ set. She sees khushi and pooja dancing on jumma chumma. They are laughing and enjoying.
Just then some girl see ragini and ask her to close the door. All turn towards her. She says sorry, closes the door and moves out. Khushi and pooja look at each other and nods. They ask the girls to enjoy the party, they’ll be back in a while.

Ragini is standing by the railing in the hallway. Khushi and pooja comes to her. She looks at them.
Pooja : it took you so much time to come back from shopping..
Ragini : no poo… i came back in the evening only but then we all went for dinner…
Pooja : oh that’s why we didn’t see sanskaar bhai also.. he was with you right?
Ragini : no poo… he was not with us.
Pooja and khushi looks at each other. Khushi knew pooja was being sarcastic. Ragini shows them sanskaar’s video where he’s drunk dancing.
Ragini : look at him… he’s drinking… we have to stop him..
Khushi : why ragini why we have to stop him??
Ragini : what do you mean why?? And khushi you are also drinking…
Khushi : ragini we are all adults. We can drink if we want… why is it bothering you so much?
Ragini “: huh… what are you saying khushi? Pooja you say something why didn’t you stopped him? You should have called me … he wouldn’t have denied me
Pooja : di… he can do whatever he want and if you remember i came to call you but you were busy with someone else.
Ragini : mind your language pooja. You are talking about my sister.
Pooja : i thought i was your sister as well.
Ragini looks on unbelievably.
Khushi : don’t give us that look ragini.. we are trying to talk to you from last night but it seems we, the new people in your life don’t have any place in your life anymore.
Ragini “; why are you guys talking like this? This is not true guys…
Pooja : we have seen with our own eyes di… we were happy for you but in your happiness you couldn’t see bhai’s pain….
Ragini : what?? Pain? What happened to sansku?
Khushi : ragini please…. please yaar …. stop it. ( she throws her hands in the air, irritated ) And we can take care of our friend and his pain. You don’t need to worry anymore.
They start to leave but ragini stops them.
Ragini : look.. i don’t know what you guys are angry about but please call back sanskaar. I tried calling him but he’s not picking up my calls.
Khushi : i really hope ragini you find out soon what you did wrong…. its not wrong to enjoy your happiness but don’t forget about those who were with you when you were sad..
Ragini looks on.
Khushi : I would have happily invited you to my party but I don’t think you are interested anymore in my wedding….
Ragini looks down. Khushi nods her head in disbelief.
Saying so she takes pooja, leaving ragini alone.

Ragini was moving towards her room looking into the phone seeing SANSKAAR’S videos and pictures. She couldn’t believe her eyes. And what was hurting her the most was he didn’t even talked to her. Unaware that someone was coming from the opposite side, she clashed with a muscular body.
Ragini : oh I’m so sorry….
She looks up and finds Laksh holding her. She immediately part ways and again mutters sorry. Laksh sighs. He was about to leave but stopped seeing her in tension.
Laksh : ragini are you okay?
She nods but he feels something is not right.
Laksh : Ragini… come with me….
He holds her hand and takes her to his room where swara was fondling with her phone. She looks at them and then their hands. She eyes Laksh making him leave Ragini’s hand. She smiles and moved towards them.
Swara : ragu… what happened? You seem disturbed….
Ragini who came out of her trance hearing Swara’s voice gets surprised seeing her in their room. She looks at Laksh and then swara.
Ragini : nothing swara… I’m just tired
Laksh : common ragini…. Tension is clearly written on your face… what’s wrong tell us?
Swara : yes tell us ragu… we’ll help you….
Ragini : Laksh Swara, I’m fine….
Swara : did Sanskaar do something????
Both Ragini and Laksh looks at her, astonished.
Swara : what don’t look at me like that…. I know he has some serious issue with me … and therefore he’s hurting ragu…..
She said making ragini sit on the bed. Ragini thinks about what she just said.
Laksh : common swara….. everything is not about you…. Grow up….
Swara : Lucky… why do you always find me guilty? I’m just worried about Ragini….. already she has been away from us and now also your brother Sanskaar is leaving no stone unturned to keep her away from us ….
Ragini : swara what are you saying?
Laksh : it’s nothing Ragini….. and Swara please, don’tcome to any conclusion without thinking….. Sanskaar bhai can never do such thing and moreover they both are now coming to Kolkata….
Swara : yeah this is right….. you’ll never take my side… you have already decided that I’m wrong . Then I’ll keep my mouth shut only….
Ragini : guys please stop fighting…. Swara, what has happened to you? You are not that shona which I knew…. Where have you lost yourself? You guys always used to be one team, don’t fight over me now………
Im fine. I’ll be fine… there’s nothing to worry about but you guys please don’t fight because of me or anyone….. you have fought with the world to be together… don’t let your small arguments ruin that….
She cups swara’s face who nods and they both wipes each other’s tears. She looks at Laksh and then leaves the room. Swalak says sorry to each other and hug it out.

I still care about other people’s emotions, then why khushi and Pooja said the opposite!? Sansku where are you? Why are you doing this? What happened? What’s wrong? Please talk to me……….
Thought Ragini while retiring to her room. It was a long day for her!

Its almost midnight. But the party is going on in a pub. Whole boy gang is in full on josh. they are dancing, drinking and shouting.
Sanskaar : arnav bhaiiii …. jeelo apni zindagi ka yeh akhri pal….. fir toh aap bhi khushi ke aur apki zindagi bhi……. ( live this last moment of your life… then you also belong to Khushi and your life also )
Everyone hoots and laughs. With all his friends by his side and alcohol inside, sanskaar had forgotten his pain for a few hours. He had controlled his emotions this time as he didn’t wanted to spoil everyone’s mood. Arnav had been always there for him, in happiness and in sadness. And this was his day.
Everyone was enjoying. Sanskaar stands on the bar table and dances. A few other boys joins him. They dance on abhi toh party shuru hui haii………….. everyone dances with them. Then sanskaar comes down and holds arnav. Ek kunwara song plays.. everyone teases arnav. Sanskaar holds him and then pushes him towards a girl… arnav shies away. They all laugh and dance.
Abhay ask the DJ to play bhootni ke… then all of them starts hitting arnav and opens up the champagne bottle and puts the bottle in his mouth making him drink the whole bottle.
They all dance like mad in various Punjabi and hindi songs.
The episode ends with drunk sanskaar, arnav and abhay.!!!!!
( PS – I’M NOT PROMOTING ALCOHOL. ITS DANGEROUS FOR HEALTH. BUT IT IS COMMON IN PUNJABI WEDDINGS. )
