Sanjog actress Sonya Saamoor bids farewell to her role as ‘Rakshita’
The popular TV show Sanjog, which went on air on 22 August 2022 is now all set to go off-air soon. Actress Sonya Saamoor who is currently essaying the role of ‘Rakshita’ in the show, recently shared a signing-off post on her Instagram.
Sonya who is known for her role in several shows like Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Nazar, and Sirf Tum among others revealed how close the character was to her heart. The actress also thanked everyone for the love and support she received for the portrayal of Rakshita in the show.
In her Instagram post, Sonya wrote, “Adios Rakshu you crazy wild gorgeous being, I loved playing you, I love your sarees, your style, your eyelashes and most importantly your grace baby girl, THANKYOU!!! for choosing me. Bisou Bisou #Adios, Rakshu Signing off.”

Along with the fans, her industry friends also praised her in the comments section. Actor Puneett Chouksey wrote, “You’ve been amazing in this show…ae ladkiii.. way to go.” One of her fans wrote, “we will miss you ” and another fan commented, “this character will be close to our hearts as well”.
Along with Sonya, Sanjog also features Kamya Panjabi, Shefali Sharma, and Rajniesh Duggall in the lead roles.
