Pandit ji says that the time for engagement has passed. Dayal thinks how Rachna’s dress torn and the people declared it a bad omen. He says this engagement shall end now. Shayl asks what is he saying, it has already happened to Rachna once. Dadi says that it is the month of Ganpati, when every new work is started. Pandit ji agrees, all the family also request Dayal. He watches Rachna crying, keeps hand on her head and asks the Pandit to begin. KT asks for Rachna’s hand and puts in a ring in her finger. Everyone claps.
At night, Rachna was in front of the mirror, Gunjan comes in and says I saw you so happy after a long time. This happens when you get your loveable life partner. Rachna says she couldn’t see the smile on KT’s face. Gunjan says that there was a lot of drama,
Dadi says to KT that his mother would have broken the engagement. He was quiet. KT says have you seen her get up; how she used to dress up then. Dadi says that she teased you and your dad a lot, left you alone. Dadi says she thought he would hate her when he will see her. There were tears in KT’s eyes and he leaves. Dadi says one should never feel sorry for that lady. KT watches an old album, he recalls the birth of his baby brother. He recalls how KT used to make a wall from pillows for Bittu.
Shayl was packing the sweet while Seema appreciated it. She says that she will distribute the sweets some time later too, when there will be a little Mayank in the house. Mayank and Gunjan arrive, she asks did the doctor say is everything ok. Seema asks what the doctor said about the diet. Gunjan was upset and says that to disappoint you all I am sorry. Mayank explains she isn’t pregnant. Seema asks crying, what was that nausea and all. Gunjan says that was true, but had no connection to pregnancy. Shayl says to Seema that everything will be alright. Mayank and Gunjan go to their room. Prabhu also says that one day we will be grand-father. Seema cries, that I was so hopeful. Gunjan comes to the room, and says to Mayank this is what she was afraid of. Mayank comforts her asking is she alright? She nods; he gets up to get ready. Seema goes to see Gunjan.
Gunjan asks Mayank is he also feeling bad. He says that playing with Ayu, he hoped to be a dad. Gunjan says that she feels bad for everyone but she is relieved. She says she feared how they will take up the responsibility; it is somewhat good that our report was negative. Mayank turns around and asks this is what you wanted. He was annoyed saying you didn’t want so, and this is the reason he took this happiness from us. Seema hears everything on the door. Gunjan comes to explain but she leaves. Gunjan tries to explain to Mayank but he also leaves for office.
KT was driving in rain. Rachna called him but he ignores the call. She gets worried. KT thinks how Bittu said he needed his help. He comes to the point where he met Bittu and watched his mother, mausi and Bittu sitting in open. Bittu was shivering with cold. His mausi looks at KT and calls Nanha. Bittu says his brother has come. Mausi says this is good you came here; Bittu is in fever without medicine. His mother holds her hand and says she doesn’t want to ask him for anything. She tells him to leave, so that he can live a better living.
PRECAP: Dadi was promising Dayal and Shayl that whatever happened yesterday won’t happen again, KT opens the door and goes inside. Gayatri, his Mausi and Bittu stood with their luggage.
