The two felt silent for a length of time…the sudden rude jolt had the boy stretching back on his cot…
The girl realized the pangs of unrequited love that had long bottled up in his mind and now seeking sudden release…
They(RagLak) arrived at the study room of the apartment for combined study…they were in their final year MBBS exam and preparing for the complex paper-social and preventive medicines…

Today they both are IAS officers but the travail they went through to attain the same selection inorder to get united is something they only knows…

Ragini and laksh have some extremely differing tastes even they are from similar background…
Ragini Gadodia-daughter of Shekar Gadodia and Sharmishta…and she is a typical city girl but follows her tradition as well…
Laksh Maheshwari -Son of Durgaprasad Maheshwari and Annapurna…DP wish to build and run a hospital in Kolkata as his daughter,son-in-law and son are all doctors…
But unfortunately his son jumped into another ship of becoming an IAS…
Initially DP opposed laksh’s decision of becoming an administrative official but later he left him on his own wish…

They both belonged to the same batch called Millennium batch of Kolkata medical college…
Laksh set foot on the campus by grabbing third rank at the medical entrance test while Ragini enters the campus by securing first rank in biology…
Their gang comprises of seven members (4 girls and 3 boys)and commonly known as seven stars and they had a swell time in those days…
Combined study and house visits were common hence laksh used it as a chance to meet her…
He never knows when he started loving her…they become best friends from the very first day of their inaugural function…
Eventhough they have differences and they fight for silly issues…the bond between them is still the same…
Ragini was an multi talented girl…bharathanatiyam,western,music,painting and much more were the accomplishments she could boast of…
Laksh loves in teasing his senior who loves ragini and roam behind her everyday but she doesn’t show any interest on him…
But the remaining six stars will use him for their works and would create pranks…but unfortunately he tied knot leaving ragini because of her lack of interest…
Their life went off like that and laksh slowly developed feelings for ragini but he hides his love as he faced inhibitions in opening his heart out to Ragini who had legion of admirers…
He feared that she would stop be friend with him because ragini is type of slapping a guy who cross his limits…

Now they(RagLak) were all alone in laksh’s study room for their final exam preparation and it was a fine windy evening…
Ragini knows that he is in love with her…she also knows that he is not an expressive type of guy…
So she broke the silence between them”laksh…are you done…”
“just few more minutes Ragini…i got stuck…please help me out na…”laksh makes a pout…
Ragini comes close to him which he never feels…his heart starts beating fast…this and all would happen with girls but here it’s happening for him…
She snatched the book from his hands and placed it on the table nearby…
“Ragini..what you’re doing…give it to me…i haven’t finished yet…”laksh got interrupted when he sees her mesmerizing crystal eyes…
They talk with each other through their eyes…it knows that they were in love…but after tomorrow they don’t know about their destiny…whatever may happen…
So Ragini wants to make it clear…”laksh I wanna say something which you already knows but I want to say myself…”
Before she could say anything he kissed her cheeks…Ragini stands in shock and haven’t uttered anything…
“I know Ragini…but I feared to tell you because of your nature…but today I realized it through your eyes…i love you Ragini…will you be my better half…”laksh kneels down…
Ragini bends down cupping his face and says”I love you too laksh…”
Suddenly all the five came over there blinking”what’s going on…”
“Wo…kuch nahi…”laksh tries to change the topic while Ragini gets embarrassed…
All bursts out laughing and says”we understand…”
“continue your work after we leave but before that am having one big waala doubt Ragini…”anu(ragini’s frnd) shows some concepts to explain…
Ragini sees Laksh who is watching her from the other corner of the room…
Anu turns Ragini towards her and says”Ragu…please na tomorrow is our last exam…”
“I just can’t think about it…guys tell me that we will be the same gang na even after graduation…i can’t live without you all…”a girl in the group started crying…
“yes what doubt…we will remain as friends always and I finalised the college for our pg…infact I blocked 7 seats…”a boy in the gang wipes her tears…
“actually Vicky…me and laksh decided something…”Ragini interrupts in between…
“what dear…”Vicky put his hands over her shoulders…
Laksh fumes…Ragini watches him and laughs inside…
Actually Vicky did it only to make laksh jealous and winks at Ragini…
Laksh comes in between and removed his hand from her casually and sits with her in sofa so close that no one can come inbetween them…
All the combo chuckles…
“laksh…stop behaving like a possessive lover…we all know about it before itself…”all bursts out in laughing…
Laksh hits his head playfully…Ragini nods…
“laksh…do you remember the previous vacation you urged to Chennai to spend your time with your grandparents…”Ragini reminisces that day…
“haan…”laksh nods..
“that Time only I realized how important you’re to me…because of the climatic conditions you haven’t texted us…i don’t know what to do…infact am restless that time thinking about you…starts my blabbering…everyone thinks about but my thoughts are totally different…i splitted out to Vicky and Anu that what I feel for you…they only make me understand…they are the ones who found you in my heart…”Ragini starts crying while reminiscing those moments…
“oh my babe…”Anu consoles her…
“laksh…i beg you please don’t leave her anymore orelse she will make us restless and starts her blabber…”Vicky teases her…
“hey you stop there…”Ragini tries to catch him and hits with the pillow…
Everyone were laughing…
Laksh holds her wrist and takes her to the corner…”am sorry Ragini for making you hurt…”by saying suddenly Laksh kissed her forehead…
Ragini blushes…
She felt complete whenever he is around her…everyone huffs…
“we are here only…”all teases them…
“Vicky…i forgot about it…me and laksh decided to go for civil service and we are gonna attempt it next month…”Ragini sighs laksh…laksh holds her palm and was playing with her fingers…
Ragini glares”laksh am serious…”
“yes…me too Ragini..”laksh winks…
Ragini pinched his hand…”aah…”laksh winces…
“now only it’s serious I think…”Anu teases them…
Ragini give a death glare and continues her idea…”see guys IAS is my dream and laksh is also interested in doing service…so we have decided to go for it…what say…”
“Ragu…what’s this…how mean..i thought of continuing our pg together…but you’re choosing an completely different line…”all becomes sad…
Laksh convinces them…
“hey laksh…you have chosen for ragini only na…”Vicky whispers in his ears…
Laksh nods…
“ok jokes apart…now concentrate…”Ragini makes sure that they finished the concept…
Next day…
Exam gets over…
Ragini waits for laksh…he comes…
“Ragini…come”laksh tooks her in his bike for the very first time…
Ragini’s first bike ride with him…she hugs him tightly and shouts like a mad girl…
He tooks her to the another city which is 120 km away from their college…there it is…
Her favourite lake spot…
“laksh…how do you know about this place…”Ragini said surprisingly…
“I know everything about you Ragini…”laksh blindfolds her with his hands…
They reached…no one was there…
He slowly removes his hand from her eyes…she opened her eyes and was so surprised to see the place…
Yes our chocolate boy arranged for an candle light private dinner near the lake spot with a table and two chairs…
A canopy is fixed and it’s decorated with the flowers which Ragini likes a lot and the entire place is lightened…the place looks shining bright along with the natural beauty…
Here we go…this time it’s an official one…
Laksh took out a heart shaped box and opened it…Ragini’s eyes filled with tears and he can feel so much love in that…
Laksh kneels down and offers the ring and says”Ragini…this is not a marriage proposal but something more than that…i promise you that I will make you happy till my last breath and you’re the only girl in my life and also world to me…will you be mine…”
Ragini nods and forwarded her hand to him…he makes her wear the ring…
It shines brighter in moon light…she hugged him tight…
Few months later…Ragini got through IAS exam and called for training at mussourie but laksh secured 134th rank and hence alotted for IFS camp at Delhi…
He didn’t attend the training…how can he leave her lady love!!
He attempted again and this time he got selected for IPS…now ragini’s training period gets over and she is sub collector of the district somewhere in Madhya Pradesh..
Laksh is staying in MP just for Ragini…this time too he got the same IPS level ranking…
The external affairs withheld him for not appearing fo training if even he passed the exam…
Ragini pleaded the chief secretary and he tells their love story to the ministry…
They finally gave him the approval…this time Ragini prepares notes for her lover boy and they enjoy each other’s company…
They registered their marriage in Madhya Pradesh because Ragini knows that her won’t approve their relationship…
But this time laksh cracked it and selected for IAS training…
After crossing all hurdles they seek permission for their marriage but to their surprise both family agreed for their relationship…
They got officially married and it’s been 4 years they got married…
RagLak have two kids…a baby girl of 2 years named sayuri(means lily flower in Japanese) and a six months baby boy named Rohit…
Even after so many years their love remains same…today they are celebrating their 7th anniversary…don’t get confused…they got married after 3 years from their proposal…
But they are celebrating their confession day as their anniversary…
The kids were sleeping silently…laksh lifts her in bridal style to his room…they were so close…suddenly they hears their son rohit’s sound…
Ragini laughs…”he won’t give me my girl…how mean you are…”laksh smirks…
“shut up…”ragini goes to Rohit and makes him calm…
Laksh hugged them both seeing his daughter sleeping peacefully…
