Chedilal is singing the song, she after seeing the phone gets worried so gives the mobile to Appu saying that it is his call when Appu sees the caller Id, he makes an excuse saying that Akki has the sports and they will get late if he talks with the person, Appu leaves without talking, when the call ends Chedilal is relaxed.
Asthik enters the house, Chedilal hands him the mobile however he refuses to talk with her then hands back the mobile before leaving, Chedilal then tries to give the mobile to his father however he also doesnot want to talk and says that he is not irritated by the ringtone.
Sargam is working in the kitchen when she gets the call from her mother, she is not able to answer the mobile so asks Chedilal to answer it , he however explains that he cannot speak because
The Grandfather wishes her, she doesnot recognize him, he explains that he is the one of whose blood she is making off, he is adamant that Akki will score great marks and even Sargam is optimistic that he will score more than eighty marks, her mother says that it is not possible as even if he cheats in the exam even then would not be able to score such marks as he would surely take the wrong book, Sargam asks her to not change the topic as if Akki scores more marks then she would have to apologize to all the seven and half Awasthi, and she would also never make fun of them, she answers that it is like not breathing but accepts then presents her condition that if he is not able to score then she would stop being their bodyguard.
Sargam ends the call, Akki comes back with Appu who says that the result is not as they expected, the entire family is seeing the result when Asthik explains that it is not even lower then forty and he just scored thirty nine, Asthik asks why did he not take the book with him, Chedilal stops him from teaching wrong things to the child then asks if he did not ask the student sitting in front of him, Akki reveals that he was the first student, Asha exclaims that then the marks are suitable. Alukik takes the name of Sargam, everyone starts running then he explains how he will stand by the stairs and call to alert them if he sees Sargam coming.
Eklawya says he has got an idea and why should they not turn the thirty-nine marks into eighty-nine as it is the only way by which they would win the bet otherwise their n law would not leave any chance to make fun of their family. Alukik comes back saying that it is not worthwhile to stand there because Sargam is still not coming, Chedilal asks Eklawya to move ahead with his plan but they should make sure that Sargam doesnot come to know of the truth for two more days.
Akki is with the Grandfather when Sargam calls him asking what has become of his result, they all are standing still when Eklawya and Alukik come down with the report card, she asks about the marks, Eklawya explains that it is like hitting six sixes on six balls, she asks if he was only able to score thirty-six marks, Alukik is able to reveal that he scored thirty-nine marks but then Appu asks him to not say anything further and come show Sargam the report card, she is relaxed after seeing the card, Grandfather asks him to accompany her, Sargam mentions that he has saved their reputation as she had made a bet with her mother on his marks, Sargam calls her mother and acts as if she is really sad, her mother asks what has happened then realizes that Akki’s result would have come, she inquiries the marks with which he failed but Sargam is not even able to reveal the marks so asks her to come and see the report card herself, the mother immediately accepts the invitation.
Sargam is really excited after ending the call that her mother is coming, Appu asks why she called invite her to their house, Sargam mentions that she only invited her to see the reaction when she sees the eighty-nine marks which Akki has obtained.
Appu is holding the mobile when the teacher of Akki calls, he is not able to talk so hands the mobile however the mobile comes back to him and so when Appu answers the call, the teacher reveals that Akki has merely passed the exam and the school board has decided that they would meet the guardians of the students, so she is coming at three in the evening. Chedilal decides that they would discuss it in the shop.
They are all worried about who would meet with the teacher as she is also coming at the same time as Sargam’s mother when Alukik reveals that he has an idea they should make someone dress as Sargam, Appu mentions that it is a great idea when they all wonder who would act as her, Rimjhim is constantly asking but is not allowed and then they all turn their attention towards Eklawya because he is the smallest however he is not confident, Asthik then acts as a girl and performs greatly so they all force him to become Sargam, he explains that he doesnot even prefer to be near a women but they want him to become one, Appu says that he is going to distract Sargam so they can take anything from his trunk.
Sargam is preparing the pudding in the kitchen when Appu inquires what is she up to, she mentions that she is making something sweet because Akki scored such good marks and also that her mother is coming, she asks about an ingredient when Appu immediately takes her hand however she says that it is present in the house so he should help her, he sees it in the shelf, Sargam asks him to take it out, he advises her to step aside as it is going to break, he purposefully drops it which angers Sargam, he explains that they should buy it from the market, he exclaims how good the weather is then asks Sargam that they should walk slowly however she says that they must not waste time.
Appu stops to tie his shoelace when a lady asks for the address, he is shocked to see that it is the Akki’s teacher and he is really worried, Sargam is also coming back looking for Appu.
Precap: Appu asks why the teacher came back and she mentions that she forgot to take the sign, Asthik signs the paper but then drops the pen and it is revealed that he is actually a man, the teacher gets scared and runs saying that he is not the aunt but the uncle of Akki.
