In the morning Appu exclaims that the weather is really nice so they should walk really slowly and enjoy the weather however Sargam asks him to hurry up as they should also get back before her mother arrives. Sargam gets a call while Appu is tying his laces, a lady asks for the direction, she doesnot know that he is related to Akki, he immediately confirms if she is a teacher, she thinks of him as an astrologer, he responds that it is because she asked it so directly then points towards the house, the teacher says that this is the reason Akki is not able to study however Appu asks her to save some of them for his family as it is not nice to reveal them to any outsider.
The teacher is sitting and asks when will Sargam arrive, Alukik answers that she is getting ready at which the teacher
Asthik comes after getting ready as a women, he asks if the teacher would like to take some water but she declines, he then drinks it himself and sits in front of the teacher, she shows what Akki writes in his paper, Asthik is happy to see that he has written OM but the teacher reveals that it is the only word which he has written, Grandfather reveals that it is part of their upbringings, the teacher then says that he also cannot distinguish in true and false questions, he therefor ticks all the options saying that his Grandfather says there is nothing wrong and right but only the way by which one sees the world, Asthik acts of scolding him, he asks Akki to pay attention and look at his eyes, the teacher reveals that he gives a lot of attention to Kavia, Asthik asks how can he do such an act and did he forget what Asthik said and that he should never stay with girls, the teacher is confused so asks what kind of teachings are they giving to their child.
Appu looks at their house with nervousness, Sargam asks what has happened because they must reach the house however Appu explains that some people are about to come and they asked to meet him on the streets for the add, he asks her to get the cover of her mobile changed, she agrees.
The Grandfather assures the teacher that they would make Akki understand, the teacher asks Asthik to be responsible with Akki, Asthik as Sargam says that she does his best and after finishing the house chores helps him complete his work and even the family members forgo their desires to arrange for his education expenses, even then he turned out to be a failure just like his mother, it might be because there was something left in his upbringing and when she tries to console him, Asthik gets way mentioning that she should not be worried because she has done a lot for Akki which is even more then what mothers are able to do, she hugs him and leaves, requesting him to take care but Asthik is not able to control himself and starts shivering.
Appu and Sargam are on the road when he gets the call, he acts as if it is the contractors and so says that there is nothing to worry and he would take the money in their next meeting.
Sargam and Appu are waiting when her mother arrives, she calls her in excitement when she asks him to stop, Sargam hugs her when she reveals that she is sweating as she has to walk a lot because of the small streets, Sargam asks if she has parked the car in front of Meenu Aunti’s house just like every time when she comes, she explains that she saw a kid naked sitting in front of the house, Appu assures her that it is the house of Meenu Aunti because her child is always naked, she cannot understand how can a mother leave her child naked, Appu tries to explain but is stopped by Sargam. Her mother signals Sargam that Appu has not taken her blessing, she asks him, and he takes her blessings, he is also about to take the blessings of Sargam but stops realizing that she is his wife, her mother just before walking in feels a pinched smell however Sargam and Appu cannot smell anything, Appu even says that he has taken a bath, they hear that two people are discussing about what it is over the dog pee, Appu orders them both to leave, they request that they should be allowed to clarify but Appu explains that it is just Dogs pee and not something important.
Appu then explains that the dogs pee on the scooty of Pinki jee, he tries to joke however just irritates his mother-in-law, Sargam signals him to stop, she is leaning towards Sargam asks if she cannot feel the smell, however Appu clarifies that they have gotten used to the smell, Sargam offers her mother the sweets but she declines the n turns towards Chedilal explaining that she never saw him smile like this in all the years. Grandfather says that the reason is what she never expected, Sargam clarifies that she has lost the bet, she is not able to comprehend then asks Akki if what they are saying is true.
Sargam says that they would show her the report card where it is mentioned eighty nine, Grandfather says that he said Akki would get ninety but what difference does one mark make, she is sad and they ask if she is not happy but she exclaims that she is really happy and they all explain that she has to apologize, Lata jee pulls Sargam aside asking if she is her daughter, Sargam mentions that she is their daughter in law first, Lata je agrees and apologizes, the entire Awasthi family rejoices, Sargam asks if she is forgetting something then Lata je mentions how she would not make fun of anyone for the coming one year, they all start dancing with joy.
Eklawya sees the teacher coming back, she explains that she forgot to take the signature and so Eklawya takes her from the backside, the teacher mentions that Eklawya brought her from such a difficult path, Asthik signs the paper.
Sargam offers tea to her mother, Akki walks in front of them both mentioning that he was forced to lie even when Sargam taught him to always speak the truth, he scored thirty-nine marks and not eighty-nine, everyone sits down.
Asthik drops the pen, the teacher also sits down, it is revealed that he is a man so she runs down the hall and is followed by Asthik.
The teacher comes to Sargam explaining that Akki’s aunt is a man and not women, Sargam mentions that she is his aunt, they all are ashamed of the lie.
Sargam is standing whole everyone is worried, Chedilal mentions that they lied to save her reputation because she made a bet with her mother, Lata je stops her explaining that she would say from now on because they have lost the bet, she mentions how she is relaxed that she has been married to this family because after seeing what they are ready to do for her, she is convinced, Sargam also apologizes to Akki for betting on his marks.
Chedilal feels that Lata je would not say anything, she however explains that it is not that easy to forget what they did at the wedding as his sons turned the cooking station upside down and she even had to pay the ice cream vendor three times as much money because they all ate twelve ice creams. She is constantly scolding them; they all are looking at her with amazement.
Precap: Appu asks why they did anyone not bring Akki back, because Sargam is coming home in five minutes, the grandfather also warns them of severe consequences if Chedilal comes to know that they lost his Grandson. Sargam asks about Akki, they all mention different places, she calls at the washroom door where Asthik is sitting inside.
